I don't typically write reviews, however the customer service I received at this small. Local business today warrants a 5-star review. Along with caring for my family of four and my home, I also care for my widowed mother and maintain her home as much as possible so she is able to live independently. It's never a small feat to maintain not one but two homes, so I am constantly in and out of hardware stores, many times leaving with frustration and sub par customer service to get what I need. Today, my mother's hose spigot ley go and I couldn't find the parts I needed until I came to this store. Not only did the representative help me disassemble the old unit, but provided me with advice and a new washer/bolt free of charge. In this day in age I am not used to that old fashioned "help your neighbor" service, but that is what I got here today. I am now a lifetime customer. Integrity, honesty and exceptional service all around!

Chris was very helpful. I’m a GC and was picking up supplies for my plumber and he made sure I had all the right things. Helped with a difficult return situation as well, can’t recommend this place more for your plumbing needs, great selection of items, frequently restocked, and great customer service

I had a question about a part I needed and I was helped by a nice gentleman named Joe who gave me mo!re than just a "Sorry, we don't have what you need." Which, frankly, I've come to expect now as a regular thing more than in the past. No, Joe, although he did not indeed have the part I needed, was nice enough to take his time and talk through numerous solutions to my questions and needs and by speaking with him I not only learned what the best course of action was but I was also given a temporary fix to help me get by whilst I waited for the part I needed. .He was so helpful and courteous I hold him as an example of every customer/employee interaction. It should and could be that way.
If the owner is reading this then I have a message directly to you. Give him a raise and keep him happy because I would hire him on the spot.
I'm glad I stopped in today, it was worth every minute and it solved an issue I have been dealing with for a week and numerous people just brushed me off and said "No, can't help you." PERIOD.

The worst experience in the world,terrible customer service bought an submersible well pump from them myself a licensed construction supervisor in state of ma an a licensed Electrian (ma,RI) installed it today after putting the pump back into the well it did not work pulled it out again made every attempted to find out what was wrong , turned out to be the submersible pump . Went back to simons to return for another one an was told by the sale person that there is no way the pump is no good iwent on to explain that it’s three wire the pump doesn’t work ,again I was told that it’s not the pump an this is why we can’t sell to residential people, well I Inturned told him that there is no licence for well pump installer an once the pump is installed that they should be calling an Electrian to do the wiring , so the pump was returned an I was refused to be sold another one. I will never purchase another thing from them an if I can influence an buddy else neither will they ,I’ll send them to someone else. I guess that’s why he works behind a desk at a plumbing supply place an not in the field. The worst costumer service I’ve ever seen. An I was also told that good luck buy another pump an getting it to work , well low an behold went to Home Depot bought a submersible well pump for 200 dollars cheaper an it works ,it’s a good thing I don’t Iisten to idiot sales people

Simon's had the part I needed in stock when the many other suppliers in my area did not even carry it. It was well worth the drive. The guys in the parts department were very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped track down the part over the phone and put it on hold for me to pick up. They noticed I drove an hour and told me the next time I needed a part, they would ship it to me. The service was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend Simon's.
