This company is awesome , shows up every time on time with zero issues ever. Customer service to me and probably to everyone is number #1 on my list and it shows that this company cares about their customers.

Do not trust them! They charge for services not even done! They mow a lawn then charge to pick up pine needles?? Ripped off the elderly for years

Unauthorized fall clean up and difficult to reach and talk about billing. Threats and interest charges instead of conversation and solutions.

Very good with mowing and cleaning up the yard would recommend this to everyone the best possible you can’t get better I wish I could mow like these people do you guys are so good I should pay you more

Great job clearing unwanted overgrowth, rototilling new garden space and providing the loam I needed for new perennial beds. Very courteous and efficient as well as thorough. Have already recommended them to someone and will continue to do so.

After several years of doing business with Joel the owner .. he changed .. dropped the snow plowing service in Fall 2021 . leaving us to our own . And for reasons unknown , more recently , never returns a phone call to us after several vmm , em and texts to him .. And .. just never showed up to do our weekly cut , leaving us as seniors in a lurch - all the owner had to do was return a phone call on a service call billing question .. But never did - very disappointing - and highly unprofessional - after all these years of paying his company $thousands in lawn care - be wary and choose your lawn services wisely / this guy is Very expensive and doesn’t like to be questioned, called or negotiate . Not what any of us need in this times and economy.

I needed someone to Plow my parents driveway over these past couple of days and it's very tough living down here in Fl when they live up in West Springfield and trying to find someone. This company is hands down the best I've ever dealt with. My mom actually called after He showed up with 3 people to shovel plus plow the driveway and she was crying to me on the phone she was so happy she didn't have to do it .My dad had a heart attach last year and my mom is getting older so they can't do it. Customer service is number #1 to me and for this company not only to plow but to get out of the truck with 2 other people and shovel the sidewalks plus the walkway leading up to the house, I've never seen that done in my life. A++

Do not trust this company. A bunch of scammers. Overcharged, unresponsive when billing became an issue. Told me i didn’t pay them even though i had proof that i had paid in full AND all my checks had been cashed by the company. Also scammed my neighbors. Unprofessional and taking full advantage of the elderly. Like i said, do not trust them.

I hit up Joel yesterday and left a message. He called back with a price for pellets. Currently he has some higher rated pellets , thus a little out of my budget. That being said, I saw some of the ridiculous reviews dragging down his rating so I feel like it was necessary give him some props as he was polite, responsive and thorough with my questions.

While E&J's no longer provides residential snow plowing, after seeing some of the reviews, I had to chime in with our positive experience with their plowing and services from a few years ago. They were great, but snow plowing isn't cheap and unfortunately people in Agawam have an unrealistic understanding of the cost of services, combine this with difficulty in finding workers pushed E&J's from providing these services. Joel, if you read this please consider restarting that part of your business! -Best Regards.

You need to read the fine print with this company. I paid last summer for lawn mowing for my stepmom whom I do not live near. They showed up the end of March and did a "spring cleanup" for $295 that I was not expecting. I was told this is in the fine print on all their contracts that they automatically perform this service. And $295! This is not a big yard. Then when they did provide invoices last year they automatically debit a card I used to pay initially without consent so they retain that card and use for all subsequent services. And they also add a 3.9% card merchant charge to all invoices paid with a credit card, so beware.

I do not know about the landscape part. I do know the vehicle almost rear ended me and another vehicle 4 minutes prior. For riding the butt. Please be mindful not only as you landscape, but also whek driving in a work truck representing the company ej landscape. The man was so impatient and rude. Myself and the other car honked. DO NOT HIRE! DO NOT HIRE! For transparency this review is based only off their "free estimate" of services for fall cleanup in 2025 (I did not hire them). THEIR ESTIMATE, $1,285. I own a quarter acre property with front & back yards and some planters that needed cleaning. I have a large wooded area behind my house that is part of my property where leaves can be blown or hauled. So there is no need to transport leaves off my property (usually an extra cost). I called and they came and just dropped my quote in the mailbox. I was home waiting, they never knocked to talk to me, they chose to avoid me (now I understand why). For reference the average cost of services in my area is $250-$450 for my property size. The past 10 years I've had someone come I've never been charged more than $350 for a 3 man crew to finish my property within 1-1.25 hours. This company had the nerve to quote me $1,285 at a one time fee for in their words, "fall cleanup of leaves throughout front & back yard & flower beds." E & J's Landscaping in West Springfield, Mass is a disgrace to all businesses in my home town and the hard working small companies that do far more professional & amazing work. In the end I found a real nice guy with a property management company at the reasonable price of $300 for this years cleanup, and the work was great enough for me to book them for future work. Do your research people, there are far better and more deserving companies than this greedy, unscrupulous one. Attached is an image of the free estimate with redactions of my name, address, phone and invoice number. The price looks abnormal, but this is exactly as I received it with business card in my mailbox. Like I stated previously, I did not hire them so I did not overpay for any of their services. Therefor I have no reason to alter it. I'm merely trying to protect my neighbors from these predatory, greedy, disgusting actions.

Obviously! Every one who orders a fall cleanup "has gone sometime without a fall cleanup," an entire year as a matter of fact! Considering fall only happens once a year genius! And you have no clue about the history of work done on my property. How could you have, you never knocked my door to talk. I didn't ask for a complete landscape redesign, I asked for my leaves to blown away. That's all, Period! And if it takes your professional crew of guys with all those fancy trucks, trailers and equipment multiple days to tackle a quarter acre lot, than you got bigger problems! You might wanna hire some new crew cause 3 guys in a beat-up Chevy with their phone number spray painted on the side door got everything done (sticks included) within an hour and a half. You overcharge, you milk jobs, and you add services people don't ask for (based on your review history). It looks like you've been squeezing your customers for years, you should be ashamed of yourself.

"If you would ever like to discuss this further please give us a call anytime or stop by our office." - what for, after reading your reviews its clear you haven't been answering your phone for over a decade now!

E&J have been nothing but wonderful to work with over the past couple of years. We used another service previously, who tended to cut corners and began raising their prices. We switched to E&J and have been so happy since! We’ve gotten weekly mowing, spring/fall cleanups and landscaping work done. We get a truly ridiculous amount of leaves that drop in our property throughout the entire fall - and E&J actually haul away the leaves instead of blowing them into the back of the property, etc. We usually end up getting multiple fall cleanups due to the sheer amount of leaves and the teams they send out to work are always timely, professional, kind, and super hardworking.

Their prices have been very comparable to other companies we’ve seen and the work has been far superior to our expectations thus far. They’ve even helped us out in a pinch more than once. Highly recommend! Please take the negative reviews on here with a grain of salt.

These people are rip offs. They hire people under the table let them go and dont pay them for their work. Also they do a crapy job..and are terrible at doing what the customer ask of them. 2 thumbs down.
