Kevin and the team at Orchard Electric were incredibly responsive, coming out that day to identify the problem and then working with the power company, an excavator, and me over the next several days to lay new cable. Kevin and his team did a phenomenal job helping me to get to where I am today. It took me some time to get all my ducks in a row but Kevin was with me every step of the way from the day the permits were pulled until the final inspection. It was a difficult task to allocate all the funds needed to completely finish my house but Orchard Electric was willing to work with me with what I had, when I had it. I have a house in Florence that was built in 1910, and like most older houses in New England it has some knob and tube wiring that’s still active. For years, my insurance company ignored it, but no more. So I had to get it removed and replaced with modern wiring or I’d lose my insurance. I decided to get estimates so I called an electrical contractor in the valley who advertises that he does a lot of knob and tube removal. He inspected the house from the basement to the attic and gave me an estimate of $15,600. Then I called my longtime electrician, Orchard, who I’ve used for probably 15 years, and they said they do knob and tube also, which I wasn’t aware of. I thought it was a specialty. They came and did the very same inspection, basement to the attic, and gave me an estimate of $8,100. Obviously, they got the job. The two guys who did the work were great, Kevin and Ramone. And they managed to finish a day earlier than had been estimated. So Orchard ended up charging me only $6,500. Who else would charge you less than their estimate? You’re not going to find a better electrician in the valley. The two brothers who own it took it over from their father after working for him for years. Great company.

I have utilized Orchard Electric on different occasions for a variety of my electrical needs. Every time I have received phenomenal service along with a superb explanation of what work needed to be done and how it was completed. There even was a time when someone walked me through how to fix an issue myself which was very easy and noble of them to avoid having to bill me for such an easy fix. Overall, I would recommend them for all electric needs from residential to commercial. Orchard Electric is a top-notch company!!!
