We got their contact through home depot’s thermostat upgrade services and they sent their guys in on the next day. They went ahead replaced the new thermostat and asked me what system are we having after that. Clearly they don’t know what they’re doing, it caused the system to malfunction; nothing comes out but hot air. Later on they told me that the new thermostat is not compatible and ended up didn’t charge me for the service they couldn’t complete. Then we had the HVAC technician come fixing the whole system and you know what..same exact thermostat work fine. :(

This is the fourth time I have used their services. They always arrive on time and get the work done within the specified time. I was in a jam with a Systems issue, that required an emergency Data Wiring Run.

Though the job appeared easy, the construction of the structure, made it all but impossible.

Midway through the job, it was clear that we needed additional help -- and so I went to Google Maps and found a Professional.

Rather than be all passive/aggressive about having to jump on a job midway, Steve Bassett understood where the job was at, recognized the urgency of getting it done and literally headed right over with tools, know-how and a can-do-spirit.

Without a doubt, these are the only electricians I would hire. They’re punctual, they’re affordable. They’re all great and they analyze problems that are hard to detect and they will get it done. Hassett Electric services has been to our house three times and have always solved our problems. We have an older house now with some electrical issues and Hassett has always been able to fix them. I have referred them to friends and I’m confident in doing so. They are now the only electricians I would even think to call.

10/10 would recommend! I asked Steve to come and run some wires from our first floor down to our basement along with installing a new outlet and we got exactly what we paid for. Steve was very nice and professional, asking us questions about our preferences every step of the way. The job ended up being a little more complicated than we thought and took some time and creativity but in the end Steve still stuck with the price he originally quoted me. I also had to change the time of our appointment the day before and he made it work, no questions asked. I will definitely be reaching back out if I ever need anything else!

As usual, fantastic service! I've hired Steve and his crew a couple of times now. I was having issues with hard wired smoke detectors and Hassett Electrical had only tied one new one into the house. I reached out to Steve at Hassett, who immediately offered to drive out and take a look. Rather than have them drive 45 minutes for something so small, I tried to see if it could be fixed remotely. Steve offered his suggestions and responded promptly to my text messages.
When it was determined that the situation needed professional eyes, Steve did not hesitate to schedule a Saturday service call. Hassett showed up on time, with notice when they were 30 minutes away. Naturally, none of the detectors were malfunctioning and randomly beeping like they did all week. Hassett checked everything out, replaced the new smoke/carbon monoxide detector, fixed two other small electrical concerns, and even stayed an extra ½ hour to make sure the detectors were okay before driving another 45 minutes home. Steve also reassured me that a weird double outlet wouldn't be a building code issue that could jeopardize the sale of the house. I was only charged for a service call.
Hassett stands by their work and if there are any questions, will take the time to patiently investigate. Rates are comparable, the guys are friendly, and as Master Electricians they really know their stuff. Even if they were to go insane and hike their rates up, I would still hire them. I don't trust anyone else with the electrical safety of my home and you shouldn't either. I was lucky to find them as a Home Depot Pro, not through Yelp, Google, or other review sites. When originally receiving work estimates, review site electricians fell short. Home run for Home Depot lining up a great pro!
