My experience with EW was awful. We ordered lights through EW. They used a third-party organization to place my order, which resulted in this being way over market price - nearly 100% more than it would have cost if I had just purchased them online myself with discounts - and stated it was "non-refundable" and "non-returnable" since they were "special order."
Shortly after receiving them, we realized that part of the order wasn't going to work in our home. I spoke with the manufacturer, who was more than willing to take the parts back for a restocking fee if the distributor and channel partners would be willing to work with them; however, neither of them were willing to do this.
I could have just purchased my order online and save literally thousands of dollars on the initial purchase, and also have the ability to return them since they're readily available and certainly not "special order." Instead, now I'm stuck with an order of lights that will not work in our home. Not only that, but EW was unwilling to help me recoup costs at all. We weren't just trying to return the lights - we made it clear that we would have been happy paying a restocking fee and swapping them for lights that would have actually worked in our home. They were unwilling to work with us on this, either.
I would avoid EW at all costs. Firstly, avoid them so you don't get ripped off on price. Secondly, avoid them is because if you ever run into an issue, you can rest assured they will not be willing to help you. This was a very disappointing experience and I will make sure to inform everyone to avoid EW at all costs until they can prove to me they're willing to do right by the customer.
