Michael Pupa returned my call for a simple electrical fix for wall switches and turned into discussing other electrical issues I needed to have repaired. Due to issues beyond our control how the house was built, he clearly explained what he was doing and wired everything the correct way. We had new smoke detectors wired in as well as other light fixtures in the house that weren’t working correctly. He was able to diagnose and explain in plain terms what needed to be done and was very honest. We had a couple units that couldn’t be replaced by his recommendation of what he was comfortable with and we were able to work around those. This was mostly due to how the house was sided with vinyl siding. He was upfront with his pricing and reasonable and stuck to what he quoted. Now we have a home with working light units that operate safely and have full peace of mind that we no longer have to worry about the past issues anymore. It’s actually nice to have updated LED fixtures that actually work. I would highly recommend Michael Pupa’s services to anyone. He is professional, honest and has great communication skills and very punctual with his scheduled appointments!

Mike was amazing and very informative about all the steps he was taking while working on a few things at my house. His communication through the whole process was top notch! I recently had to find an electrician to perform some work to my house that needed to be fixed. Upon searching online we found Michael J Pupa the electrician who was first on the list of electricians who was based out of Gardner Ma. I decided to give him a call because he had really great reviews! I called Mike and told him of my situation and based off the info I told him he gave me some possible scenarios it could possibly be but needed to come out to my house to verify the concerns. Mike was super rad and very easy to get along with and talk to and really broke down what was going on and how to resolve the issue I was having in non electrician terms to help us understand. Mike and his apprentice were super polite and friendly which really made us comfortable having them in our home. He really takes great pride in his craft and gives you his 110% to give you quality work well being super safe. I now know why Mike is the top of the search list because he provides quality work, awesome customer service and good prices to name a few! You got back to us within just a few hours, you met with us around my crazy schedule, you were very thorough on what needed to be done and I appreciate the time you took explaining all of it. You showed up exactly when you said you would, did exactly what needed to be done and cleaned up to perfection as well. Everything looks and works as desired. We highly recommend MJP Electrician for any work you want done and done right.

Mike came out and fixed a wiring problem with some outlets in my parents home in Gardner in January. During this visit he discovered some major electrical hazards in the house with the electrical panels that were installed when the home was built in the 1960s. The Federal Pacific Panels that were installed had been recalled many years ago.
Mike worked with my crazy schedule to replace the recalled panels with two new ones in my parents hours. Mike also worked on getting a 50 amp generator bypass circuit and power cord put in place. Mike and his team completed the work on a Saturday during a break in the weather. Mike provided a quote for the work and stuck with the quoted price.
Mike was respectful of the property and very concerned about the welfare of my elderly parents through out the process to get the job done.

Mike does great work and is super courteous. Long story - After 9/11/2023 flood in Leominster (11" of rain in 5hrs), street-flooding put 5+ feet of water in my basement, but my power remained on the whole time. Mike was the first one on the scene after the water receded and assessed the situation. At a time when all of Leominster was short on electricians, he organized a team of other electricians that replaced my main power feed and breaker box. At first my insurance assessor said the breaker box did not need replacing, but Mike said the reason why it didn't trip in the flood was the silt in the switches, and told me what to tell the insurance assessor, in order for them to cover a new breaker box. Mike oversaw and mentored other electricians while he was here ('was a good teacher - even I learned a lot). Together, his team rewired my entire basement, and added a backup generator circuit. He went to the extra steps of finding me a converter cord for my generator (when other local power companies could not), and added extra dedicated lines for my sump pump. He came back later, labeled the breaker box for me, as well as tested out the generator & converter cable and switchover process. He made sure I knew all the steps to switch over to the backup-generator. Exactly what I could power up and not. He really went the extra mile to make sure everything was fully tested. Lastly and most importantly, my wife is terminally ill and staying at home, and Mike was super courteous to us about coordinating everything at times that were convenient *to her schedule*. He's a super nice guy, and sometimes tough on himself, but treated us really well, and did an excellent job. I'd recommend his work to anyone. ...Don...

Mike did a wonderful job for me. I had a problem with the ice melt system on my roof. He analyzed the matter thoughtfully, methodically and thoroughly and discovered, then fixed, the problem. He kept me fully apprised as he did his work. I would strongly recommend him.

I had a fantastic experience working with Mike. He replaced all the old knob and tube wiring in my house and did an outstanding job. He was extremely thorough, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure I understood each step of the process. He was also great about working around my schedule, which I really appreciated.

What really stood out was how he went above and beyond! He helped coordinate and ensure that the follow-up work with the insulation company would go smoothly after the electrical work was done. This review is long overdue, but I really wanted to take my time writing it.

I had bought a house that needed a pretty major electric overall. A co-worker had recommended Mike for his attention to detail with no corner cutting. I was looking for someone who saw the electric code as a minimum standard, not the bare minimum.

I was looking for an electrician to completely rewire the house I had recently bought. This included adding recessed lighting (there was no recessed lighting in the house) in all the rooms, adding a dedicated 20amp in each bedroom, upgrading from a 100amp panel to a 200amp panel. And rewiring the garage with a 100amp panel.

He came over, took a ton of notes, and 2 weeks later we were in agreement and his crew were able to start the work. Overall it took about 4 weeks for him and his crew to do the work. And I couldn't be happier with the results.

He had a porter potty on site so his crew didn't have to use my bathroom. Was patient with me as some other contractors had to stop by to fix some issues that were dug up. There was a minimum amount of holes in the wall for him and his crew to snake wires, and everyone was very nice and professional.

It was a pleasure working with Mike and I would highly recommend him if you want the work done correctly the first time.

Anthony Berry is one of the most professional, honest, reliable, and downright great contractors I've had the chance to work with over the years. I'm very picky, and Anthony is the only person I'd call if I need electrical work. 1st, he answers his phone, texts, and if he diesnt, he calla back promptly. Next he shows up when he says, on time, no excuses. He does beautiful work, cleans up after, and is trust worthy when working in your home. He has upgraded my service, run countless new lights, exterior lighting projects, wired a new garage, hooked up pool/hottub, you name it. He's licensed, insured. What more can I say. Anthony is a great electrician. Very professional and respectful of your home. We don't wear shoes in the house so makes sure to take his shoes off every time he enters the house. He's had to access the electric panel in the basement and go back upstairs multiples time and makes sure he goes through the routine of taking his shoes off and on each time. He's also very straight forward with his pricing. He isn't the cheapest, but very fair and upfront about his price. I call him every time I have a need for an electrician.
