Constraction reviews in Haverhill, Massachusetts

Our community contacted Connell Construction to grade and smooth out an area wide and long enough for snow removal accommodations. Everything about him and his company I knew would be beneficial not only for that one job but his network of other companies we might need as referrals for other needed projects. He was very professional in his explanation of what would be done and the pricing was very affordable! I have since referred his company to neighboring communities and they could not thank me enough!! This was one of the best companies we have had to take care of things further then what we need!! And our community will continue to use his expertise and opinion going further!!

Best in the biz. Kaden and Rob show great attention to every project they’re on whether it’s driveway add on / full rip out, retaining wall, dry well, patio or replacing a sewer / water line. I have seen them repeatedly exceed homeowners expectations. If you’re looking to upgrade your homes exterior put your trust in Connell Excavation.

We were fighting weeds with old patio pavers and needed to get them replaced. At the same time, we found out we needed to take out or replace our in-ground pool. We decided to couple the jobs together. We did our research and got quotes from a few companies. We wanted to do all the work at once so the grading was right. We hired Connell Excavation and we are thrilled with the results. Everything from the quoting process to finish was flawless. Kaden sent us many pictures of previous jobs and that was very helpful to us when choosing what we wanted the new patio to look like. They are extremely hard working and a family-owned business. They did the job start to finish with no lag time. We are now post job, the new grass is coming in nicely, our patio is stunning and we couldn't be happier with Connell Excavation. They have come back a couple of times to check on things and make sure everything is to our liking. Thank you Kaden and Rob!

We hired Connell Excavation recently to install a retaining wall at our home. I will say these guys are the best in the business! I’ve always been Leary about hiring contractors, but Kaden and Rob are the most honest, fair, reliable and knowledgeable pros out there. From start to finish, their work was top notch! From retaining walls to full site and utility work and everything in between, these guys do it all and have all the equipment to do it. My wife and I will definitely be hiring them again for a possible future driveway install! These guys were a God-send for us!

Kaden & Rob Connell are simply the best. First, they are very good at everything they do. Second, they are truly a pleasure to spend time with. Great guys, professional approach to everything, and outstanding results. We actually look forward to new projects just so we can work with them again - how many contractors can anyone say that about?! HIGHLY recommend!

Connell Excavation is a 5-star, family-owned company that has provided me with quality workmanship and exceptional customer service throughout my large (several months long) renovation project. Kaden & Rob have been a pleasure to work with and I appreciate knowing that I can tap into their expertise not only for my excavation needs but also home improvement in general. They are extremely experienced, hard-working folks and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Give them a call - you won't regret it!

Connell Excavation was a key player in the success of my new construction project. Their expertise in site work kept everything running smoothly and gave me peace of mind, knowing the job would be done right from the start. The pricing was fair and transparent, and their communication was excellent throughout the process. I highly recommend Connell Excavation and look forward to working with them again on future projects!

I recently had some major yard work done that included leveling and extending my backyard, retaining a large area with rip rap , building a couple patios and a fire pit area and looming and seeding with grass. The entire project couldn’t have gone any smoother. Connell Excavation was very clear, explained the procedures, showed up when they said they would and worked very long hours. The finished project is beautiful and nicer than I had envisioned. They take pride in what they do and pay attention to detail. I will definitely hire them for future projects!

I cannot recommend Kaden and his team highly enough. We needed our existing fence and dog run removed, our broken gutter drainage pipes repaired, our yard leveled with a French drain installed underneath, a 120+ foot retaining wall constructed to separate our newly elevated yard from the nearby wetlands, and a complete loaming and reseeding of the yard. They completed all of this in just four days, including thorough cleanup, leaving the yard looking pristine. Kaden and his team are very approachable, easy to work with, and trustworthy. You will not be disappointed if you hire them.

Personable and professional! I’m thrilled with the ideas and results that Kaden and Rob produced for me! Hardest working guys I have ever met! Highly recommend for all types of projects!

Kaden, Rob and Brian did an amazing job! Their hardworking, professional, and honest work were just a few things I could say about their work ethic. I cannot recommend enough! They made what could have been a stressful project into one that was not bad at all and if the grass didn’t need to grow back where they worked, you’d have never known they did anything at all. Not to mention their kind attitudes towards a very inquisitive 5 year old. While I hope to never have another sewer line issue, if we do - we know who to call (and to recommend to others)!

Kaden was very Professional and Knowledgeable. He listened to my ideas and vision for the space, and then made some suggestions based on his experience. Once he was done, I was taken back at how beautiful it looks. My kids, wife, and I are all excited for our new lawn.
I would “Highly Recommend”…
Connell Excavation !!!

Connell Excavation recently completed a drainage pipe installation in my yard and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, responsive, and easy to work with. The team was not only skilled but also very personable. They made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent, and they always took the time to answer my questions and explain each step. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers. I highly recommend.

Had the pleasure of working with Connell on my recent driveway expansion. Kaden & Rob took the time to listen to all my questions and provided honest feedback. The team was on time everyday, extremely polite, and communicated the days work. I would hire them again for my outdoor projects.

My oh my, how many nice things can I say? He was fast, reassuring, did a fantastic job, and turned a stressful situation into a breeze. I am so grateful for their help and everything was very reasonably priced and transparent. I’m happy my husband asked for a stack of business cards cause I am going to hand them out like hot cakes. They clearly know what they are doing and are very good at it. Thank you guys for your help and for doing such a great job.

Connel Excavation is a local family owned company who has great work ethic and communication. They came in to do two seperate jobs for us, which were fairly priced and exceeded my expectations. Everything went smoothly and they’re overall a great company to work with. Highly recommend for anyone needing excavation work.

Kaden and Robert were amazing. I don’t think I can emphasize enough how wonderful they made our walkway look. We have lived in our house for 14 years and have not taken on any of the bigger home projects to the outside.

That changed this year and we are so happy we were given the recommendation of Connell Excavation. If you are looking to transform the outside of your home. These are your guys. Professional, friendly, communicated every step of the way. Just this past week they stopped by to be sure we were happy and didn’t find any issues.

Thank you Connell Excavation, we will be recommending you often.

Kaden and his team dug a garage foundation for me. Not only is Kaden is an extremely proficient operator, but he is also communicative and fun to work with. Their prep of the site was spot on and my foundation contractor was pleased. They came soon after the foundation was ready for the backfilling, and followed through on my crazy compaction requests. I wish I was doing more construction work so I could keep working with these guys!

This family-owned business is run with such professionalism and exceptional quality of work. There are none better in the excavation industry.
They exemplify their motto - "It's the will, not the skill" by treating customers like family. And SKILL - Kaden and Rob are the BEST, period!
If you are looking for this type work, look no further - you've found them! Call for an estimate, you won't regret it, guaranteed.
Connell Excavation is the ultimate contractor experience ever.

Rebuilt my retaining wall and walkway. Really great guys, polite, willing to listen to my concerns, punctual and very hard working! Actually worked a few nights until 7:00! Very knowledgeable and willing to please. Explained every step of the way! I am very happy with their work and even recommended to my family and friends. I will be hiring them again for the side steps and landing! Great work!!!

We live on a hill and our land is unleveled and riddled with granite and boulders. We hired Connell Excavation to transform our yard by installing a patio and stone steps going down the hill to connect to the lower level where we keep the boat (Parking Lot was a previous Job done for us By Connell Excavation, Also Perfect).

We couldn't be more pleased with the results and don’t have enough words to express our happiness.
From start to finish, their professionalism and craftsmanship were exceptional.

They took the time to discuss design options and offered valuable suggestions that enhanced the overall look and functionality of the hardscape features. They took the design to a whole new level. Their creative vision and expertise turned my vague concepts into a stunning reality, incorporating elements we hadn't even considered.

Throughout the project, communication was clear and prompt. They kept us updated on progress and timelines. They were courteous to my neighbors, which is important because we share a driveway with 5 other properties. They were respectful of my property, ensuring minimal disruption during construction.
The investment in their services was well worth it, considering the excellent results, and the peace of mind knowing the job was done right the first time is invaluable.

I highly recommend Connell for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor space with hardscape features. Their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set them apart. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again for future projects.
