We’ve worked with many contractors and architects over the years, and I’d be hard-pressed to name one who was as attentive, client-centered, and as professional as Tom. Tom had a wonderful way of bringing his full attention and skill to the specifics of our project, while always connecting it to the larger vision. From the get-go we were so impressed with Tom’s ability to translate our vague ideas into a clear, creative, and practical plan. Tom is that rare professional whose creative ideas match his ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

Hiring Tom Benjamin was the single-most important decision we made when redoing our home landscape. We had over 2.5 acres of beautiful land that had been over landscaped with foreign plantings. Tom's creativity and vision for can-be is awe-inspiring. He was incredibly dedicated to the indigenous plantings we wanted for our southern RI pond-front home. And he even gave us our desired small fruit tree orchard. His knowledge of botany and horticulture is vast and deep. He is an absolute delight with which to work. He is totally on top of all issues both the big and the small. He works very well with others. We highly recommend Tom Benjamin for any landscaping needs.

One of the best things we did for our new house is to ask for Tom's help in not only developing the landscape but also dealing with drainage/erosion problems. Tom's vision was exactly what we were looking for--he understood our interest in creating a more natural environment that prioritized native species and would create a bridge to the surrounding woods--areas he is extremely knowledgeable about. He fixed our drainage problem with an interesting solution that blended with the native landscape. Tom worked incredibly hard--often into the evening planting each tree and plant with care. And when he was very busy with bigger projects he never left us hanging or forgot about our project. When we first contacted Tom we thought we were just planting a low-maintenance, native lawn and have ended up with what will be an amazing landscape of native plants and flowers and trees that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives. He is brilliant and kind.

I wholeheartedly recommend Wellnesscapes Design! We had a soggy, unusable area of our backyard, which Tom has now turned into the best part of our yard with the awesome plantings and design he did for us. He was incredibly easy to work with and really pleasant and professional. We had never embarked on any project like this one before and were not sure what to expect, but everything was done timely and under budget! We will definitely use Wellnesscapes Design for our next yard project, without a doubt.

They came in to make sure my gas stove was up to code. They responded quickly and were very professional. I would recommend them!

The plumber sent out was a great guy. He was professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. He was glad to show me what he was doing and answer any questions I had.

Hopefully I don't need a plumber again anytime soon, but this si surely where I will be going.

Schneider put in a furnace 6 years ago. They screwed up the condensation drain from the beginning and it backed up. The entire inside mechanical filled with water. They “fixed” it and the motor burned out. When i called the on call person he responded saying “did you pay your gas bill” and “do you need me to come out.” When i responded yes they were annoyed. It’s was 22 degrees! We called the next day to get it fixed and i questioned if the condensation was the issue all along and now they are refusing to fix it at all. It’s December and we have kids. Do not use this business.

Clear communication is a pretty essential part of doing business. My experience with Schneider Plumbing is that the connection between the office and the plumber in the field is totally chaotic. I put in a call to these folks as a new customer and I clearly asked if they could come within two days time. They assured me they could. They didn't. If they said the may not be able to, I would have been happy to keep looking around. Two days later, we're still without running water, and we're starting the process over. They may provide quality service when they show up, but making false promises and sharing misinformation two days in a row gets you a 1 star rating from this guy.

Bob really helped us out of a jam, rats had destroyed my mom's hot water heater, Thanksgiving was around the corner, and we were having Thanksgiving dinner in my mom's house which would not be possible without Schneider Plumbing & Heating. They saved our holiday. Definitely recommend them, they will not let you down.

These folks are great. Came out for an emergency plumbing issue without any notice a few years back and they charged us super fairly despite the opportunity to price gouge and exploit. Plumber was a kind man who explained everything clearly and went above and beyond to get our house back in working order. More recently, they were willing to modify their jam packed schedule to fit us in for a dishwasher installation that was needed right before I was scheduled for a major transplant surgery despite them being booked out to the max- those little bits of community care and compassion make Scheider's our neighborhood go-to plumber. Thanks again for being so compassionate and going above and beyond to help out a neighbor in a time of need. Highly recommend!

Schneider plumbing/heating has helped me out in my house a few times already-And all I can say is what a wonderful job and what knowledge!!! They never talked down to me, they explained everything in ways that I could understand, and I am extremely happy with the company!!
