Constraction reviews in Holden, Massachusetts

The team at TruHome Pro has delivered true craftsmanship on multiple essential projects for my family’s home. Clear communication, high quality work, and deep level of experience for their trade. Total deck and front entry demo and rebuild plus second floor renovation for bedrooms in a 90+ yr old house with a lot of nuance/character, they exceeded our expectations throughout all these projects. We recommend them to all our family and friends.

Quality and good pricing

SCOTT IS AMAZING. He cares about the details from start to finish

Scott is a great guy and does an excellent job! Quality work and fair pricing.

Great guys to hire. They do an extremely quality job. Professional to work with.

Scott and his team do a fantastic job with renovations, additions and new builds. Their attention to detail shows in their work. You’ll be happy you chose Tru Home Pro!

Working with our landlord—who is also an excellent home builder—has been a very positive experience. He completely reimagined our kitchen, transforming the space beautifully and deeply functionally. Adding beautiful cabinetry and counter space, quality appliances, and creating a layout that flows with everyday functionality. He also incorporated laundry hookups into the space, which has been incredibly convenient.

In addition, he refinished the wood floors, painted the interior, restored the porch ceiling, installed new lighting and has been prompt and reliable with general maintenance whenever needed. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are clear in every improvement.

Overall, the updates have made the home feel refreshed, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for. We feel very fortunate to be renting from someone who takes such pride in both the property and the people living in it.

Can’t say enough good things about this company! Scott and his team are top notch

Scott did a fantastic job building an addition on our home. Quality work and honest pricing. I would not hesitate to recommend McNamara Construction & Design for your next project.

Scott does an exceptional job. He prices out each project appropriately and delivers on time, all while communicating clearly along the way. He can help make your visions become a reality! Highly recommend.

We hired McNamara construction to do a full renovation of the second floor bedrooms of an old fraternity building at the University of Massachusetts. Incredibly easy to work with. Remarkable attention to detail. Finished ahead of schedule. These bedrooms, arguably are among the best living spaces on campus.

McNamara Construction & Design has executed multiple strategic project plans at our home, each with vision and attention to detail. Our new composite back deck and front porch steps have improved our lives functionally and aesthetically.

We have hired Scott McNamara twice to perform construction projects on our house. Both were done very well and on time! He is easy to work with and communicates well. I would definitely recommend him for your home projects, big and small.

I gave Scott a nearly impossible task: replace all the hardwood floors on our first floor while my family and I were away for a brief vacation in Puerto Rico. I was hoping to surprise my wife, who
was absolutely fed up with the ugly, beat up bamboo laminate flooring we had tolerated for too long. Against some serious adversity, including a significant snow storm, Scott and his crew got in, moved all the furniture, got the floors ripped out, tossed in the dumpster, installed all of the flooring, put everything back exactly how we left it, and got the dumpster picked up all before we got back home! Pricing was very reasonable and my wife was super surprised to discover that we, by some magic, had all new floors after being away for just a couple days! Thanks a million, Scott and crew!

Scott and team did an excellent job with a large, two-story addition to our home. Pricing and timelines were reasonable (and didn't change unexpectedly). Scott communicated with myself and my wife throughout the entire process, and took the time to understand our vision and executed it wonderfully.

We had a great experience renovating a large historical commercial property. The entire interior was removed down to framing and they added new electrical, insulated , put in new wall board, new floors all in a very short time. The difference was amazing!!!

We hired McNamara Construction to help transform our outdoor space. We wanted a deck built off our existing deck to create another entertaining space leading to an outdoor pavilion. Scott had great ideas and was on the job site daily. So thankful for them helping bring our vision to life.
