Marcelo and his crew completely remodeled our kitchen. This included removing a wall, relocating plumbing, and installing new cabinets, among is other things. We could not be more pleased with the finished product. The crew was always on time and communication with Marcelo was prompt and responsive. We will be using Ideal Handyman for many other projects in our home. I truly cannot recommend them enough- they offer their customers respect, timely communication, and integrity. The quality of their work is outstanding and we are very grateful they gave us our dream kitchen! Thank you, Ideal Handyman!

We can’t say enough good things about Marcelo and his team — Marcelo is so thoughtful and patient when talking through details of a job, and the team is very efficient, courteous, and clean. The work they do is quality, and they take care to make sure it’s done the right way, and with the customer’s best interests in mind. We had a small deck with stairs added on to the back of our house with a slider, and the whole experience was fantastic and we are so very happy with the end result! Then we had our kitchen floor done, we had a specific tile in mind and Marcelo accommodated that, and the work done was quality, the team spent the time to make sure it was done right, and we’re so very happy with that result too!! Marcelo is amazing!! Very responsive, easy to work with. I’m super happy with his work!! He opened up a wall of the kitchen and created a new room with a couple wall. Everything was beautiful!
He’s flexible and LISTENS to me. When I told him I wanted the new room pretty basic and I was more concerned about saving money, he trimmed down!

I tell my friends that I learned 3 very important things about home renovation projects: they aren’t terribly expensive, home renovations projects don’t interrupt your life, and they are easy and enjoyable! My husband shakes his head and everyone laughs - but it’s true. The week Marcelo was working on my kitchen, I expected to be eating sandwiches and I cooked a Turkey dinner instead.

I have worked with Marcelo and his crew on multiple projects spanning from small projects, to huge entire home renovations. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been polite, professional, and communication is great! There has yet to be a project this company can’t handle and couldn’t recommend them more.

Marcello and his team did an incredible job repairing our 100+ year old pocket doors. Before they were repaired, we could barely pull them out of the pockets. Will definitely hire again, probably in the near future.

We were under a very typical time crunch and needed to have our shower re-caulked. We called Ideal Handyman and received a response & quote the very next morning. Once we agreed, the technician showed up within hours and the job was done before midday. From initial request to finish it wasn’t even a full 24 hours.
The technician was very kind and very skilled. The work is excellent. We are very pleased.

Marcelo and his crew do top-notch work at reasonable prices. While he can become overloaded and difficult to reach at some times, he always gets the job done thoroughly and professionally. He recently completed a major expansion of our deck and addition of a three-season room and we couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend Ideal Handyman!

These guys were great, flexible and accommodating. They painted, installed floor trip, ceiling fan, bathroom fan and hung my blinds I needed to reschedule several times and had no issues. I will be using them again.

Everything about Marcelo and his Ideal Handyman crew was 5-stars. Ideal Handyman did a full renovation on my new office space, including opening up a wall and installing barn doors and new flooring and the whole process with them was perfect. I would recommend them 100% and will hire them again in the future without question.

Marcello and his team were excellent. Polite and considerate in their work ethic, they were easy to have in the house while the kitchen was being re-modelled. The quality of the their work was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. They answered questions, problem solved any unexpected things that arose and I would not hesitate to recommend the Ideal handy man.

Probably the best thing I can say about Ideal Handyman is that I was going to give them 4 stars . . . now I wish I could give them more than 5. I had Marcelo and his group do a bunch of odds and end repairs at my house as well as pressure cleaning and a playset removal. To be honest, I feel that their pricing is on the high end and so I was skeptical to use them at first. My only criticism of them was that one of the fixes (a shower trim replacement) needed parts that could have been ordered when I accepted the quote - it was not. Instead it was ordered when the showed up to do the other work . . . which caused a big lag in getting all of the work done. : ( HOWEVER, these guys show up when they say they will, work the ENTIRE time they are there, are professional, polite, check in with you when the work is done, AND come back if there are any issues with their repairs (no charge). On top of that they are HONEST. For the shower trim mentioned above, I found a replacement and bought it. Because materials were part of my quote and their replacement never arrived, they got a refund for the part they ordered . . . which they passed on to me. They did not try to hide that they got a refund, nor was I hassled about parts cost/refunding. That is what I value - people I can TRUST. If paying a little more means I get the peace of mind that they will work on it to my satisfaction and will not try to take advantage of me, I'll happily pay a little more.

Wonderful experience with ideal handyman. They were polite, courteous, professional and went above and beyond. They even completed the job ahead of schedule! I couldn’t highly recommend them enough!

First time using Marcelo and his team. My project was small - replace my front door's old weatherstripping with new stuff that would proect against cold, winter drafts, and add a storm door chain to my fairly recently installed storm door.

I could have done both tasks myself, but since I haven't gotten around to it, and life goes on, evidently, I needed help. 😂😉 So I booked Marcelo. Ideal Handyman has great reviews, and he's local to Hudson. I'm hoping for a good handyman and someone who can even tackle some home renovations, and it looks like Ideal fits the bill.

I thought the quote for this small job was high, but I didn't try to negotiate - thinking that once we establish a relationship, and I bring more work, Marcelo will feel comfortable with me and provide me with estimates that align closer with what I think I should pay.

He showed up on time. He's friendly, and I immediately felt comfortable with him and his team of 3 (total). They did the job nicely and quickly. Great work on this small, straightforward, simple job. I paid via Venmo which is convenient.

I look forward to hiring Ideal again.

My first time doing business with Marcelo and The two guys doing the job, they were very conscientious putting down tarps as not to track dust all over the house. Their work was top-notch. I will definitely use Marcelo/Ideal Handy Man again we have neighbors who asked for their number and I don’t give it out lightly. I have to be satisfied and I totally was. Thanks again.
