Showed up for emergency services. Phenomenal team, nice guys.

We had a fairly complicated upgrade to our electrical service. The work was done on time, the quality of work was excellent, very professional. This will be our go to electrical contractor in the future.

Terrific and professional company. Had them remove the remainder of the knob and tube wiring in our house and install wall sconces. Will definitely use them again.

I've used Pignatelli Electric for everything in our house: removing knob and tube, installing new lighting, upgrading service, and connecting appliances. They are a wonderful crew: highly professional, very talented, and super nice. I don't think I've ever talked so highly of my electrical contractor before! You won't go wrong with these guys.

Used them for a few years, but now it's impossible to get a call back. Even when they promise that they'll call back within the week, no one follows up. Tried calling multiple times over the course of two months, and we were promised a follow up call three separate times. No one ever followed up.

In an area (the Berkshires) where many service contractors are over-priced and under-qualified, Pignatelli is an outstanding example of everything you want in a contractor. While like almost every service category in the Berkshires they suffer from too much work and not enough qualified providers so they can be difficult at times to schedule, they are worth the wait. They have done several small projects for me, and every time the personnel on site have been extremely competent and professional and work very hard at getting the project done quickly and expertly. And when usually I'm afraid to see the final bill for many projects I have done, every time I've used them I have been very pleasantly surprised at how reasonable and fair every bill I've gotten from them has been. A real find.

I left an email for Pignatelli last night to assist with repairing an outdoor socket which no longer worked. I figured I’d hear back from them within. 24 hours to arrange an appointment. Better yet, my front doorbell rang and I met Fred who happened to be in the neighborhood on another job. I explained my problem and he was in and out in literally less than 10 minutes! Outstanding work and superior customer service! ,

Frequently asked questions
-
Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing electricians is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, actively operating, and actually performs the work it claims. For regulated trades like electrical work, we look for proper licensing, and we automatically hide inactive listings.
-
How do I choose the right electrician?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then confirm the company is licensed and insured for your specific type of work. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes, not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. For example, this page is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
Do I need a permit for electrical work?
Most significant electrical work — new circuits, panel upgrades, rewiring, and solar installations — requires a permit and inspection in most jurisdictions. A licensed electrician handles the permit process and schedules the inspection. Ask about permits before you book.
-
How do I know if my panel needs an upgrade?
Common signs include breakers that trip often, adding major loads (EV charger, solar, heat pump, new kitchen), or still having a fuse box or a 100-amp panel. A licensed electrician can assess your panel and load capacity in a visit.
-
Are electricians on GigoPro licensed and insured?
Electrical work is regulated in every state. Ask each electrician for their license number and proof of insurance before work begins. Professional companies expect these questions and answer them without hesitation.
-
How much does electrical service cost?
Costs vary by job type, region, and complexity — there is no honest single number. Reputable electricians give written estimates after assessing the job, and comparing two or three of them is the best way to understand what your work should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the electrician and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs help the next homeowners in your city choose well — and keep listed professionals at their best.
