Orion Design & Landscape

Orion replaced a retaining wall that was falling down and also installed a new patio and bluestone walkway behind our house. Miguel and his crew did fantastic work from start to finish and we could not be happier with the result. Miguel helped us think through what we wanted and worked with us on some design changes. He did the job in the timeframe he said and on budget (with any increases due to changes in scope clearly communicated and agreed upon along the way). He was fastidious about leaving the site clean each night when the crew left (including sweeping gravel out of the street in front of the house!). Miguel told us he would treat our house like it was his when he was working here, and he really lived up to that. He and his team were a pleasure to work with, and most importantly, they do really fine work. Our patio is gorgeous, and the retaining wall is beautifully constructed. I’m an engineer and I was super impressed with the quality of workmanship that I observed all along the way. These folks really know what they are doing, and they clearly want their work to be beautiful and long-lasting. We could not recommend Orion more highly.

Miguel was able to not only seamlessly fit into the schedule for our job but also did quality work. He and his crew are extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and complete in their work. They installed a patio and accompanying walkway which looks fantastic and functions perfectly with clear care and thought put into drainage/water management. A pleasure to work with and very professional. Looking forward to working with him and the rest of Orion again.

We recently had the opportunity to work with Miguel and his team from Orion Landscape & Design to construct a 45-foot fieldstone wall. From the start, Miguel was very easy to deal with and made suggestions about our project. He gave us a start date and explained how they would work and how long the project would take.

During the construction, Miguel kept us informed on progress, starting times and the schedule. He and his crew always came when scheduled, were very polite and respectful of the property. Each night, equipment was stored, the work area was clean and organized. Miguel encouraged us to talk with the crew and ask questions regarding any concerns. He commented that our satisfaction is very important to them. We noted that his crews were hard working and took great pride in their work.

The project was started and completed as promised. The workmanship is outstanding as well as his crew’s attention to detail to ensure the appearance of the wall. We would highly recommend Miguel and Orion Landscape & Design and will use them again on future projects.
