We had our solar panels installed by Great Sky Solar about five years ago, and the experience has been excellent from start to finish.

The installation was fast, clean, and the crew was very professional. They handled everything — permits, paperwork, and coordination — which made the process incredibly easy for us.

Over the past five years the system has performed exactly as promised and has significantly reduced our electric bill. The production has consistently met the estimates they gave us.

Great Sky Solar was fantastic to work with when we installed our 27 panels in 2023. We wanted to patronize a local company that does everything 'in house' for our installation from start to finish and they fit the bill. Everything in the process from planning to installation to turning on the system went smoothly, and the system looks great. They quickly updated our power generation estimate a few months after we turned the panels on when we took down a large pine tree that was hanging over the house, and all of the estimates of power generation were spot on if not even a little conservative. They guarantee your power production for many years. We haven't had any significant issues with our system since it was installed nearly 3 years ago (and no electric bill even with AC and 2 EVs). Installed in 2018; it's 2025; Great Sky Solar was the right choice. Great Sky picked the right tech and right size for us, the savings have been terrific, real money in my pocket. They walked us through the process, and showed up for installation as promised, no hassles.

After 5 years one component produced less power, Great Sky detected and notified us of the problem (I hadn't noticed), and came out and fixed it at no cost, no hassle to schedule.

After 7 years we had roof work done and Great Sky removed the panels and replaced them, *on schedule*. Scheduling for this was key, because it could have held up the other contractors or could have delayed getting them restored and generating savings and income for us, and Great Sky made it easy and came out as promised.

I believe anyone can sell solar panels, but providing true service for the life of the system is the real value, and I recommend Great Sky to anyone that likes to sleep at night.

Great Sky was so easy to work with, from when I first connected with them, through the design phase, contract details, answering all of my questions, and including the installation. Nicole the project manager was excellent and very responsive. The four guys on the install team were professional, courteous, efficient and kept the work site clean. They were very respectful. They took away all the trash from the driveway and left the work site clean. Simply an excellent team!

Great Sky was a pleasure to work with during the installation of our solar panels. They communicated with us every step of the way and responded timely to all our questions and concerns. While it was not certain that they could meet the year-end installation deadline required for the expiring tax credit when we first contacted them in September, they said they would make a best effort and were, in fact, able to get our system up and running by December 31. Their approach to the financial aspect of the system's purchase is very fair from the customer's perspective. We are thankful for having selected Great Sky as our solar panels installer and highly recommend them.

It has been almost 10 years since Great Sky Solar installed panels on our roof, and I wanted to drop back in and leave them the good review they deserve! I think I was actually one of their first customers; I looked around a lot for a company I could trust to do the job well, and fairly. (A lot of solar installers started up around then to take advantage of the federal credits, and not all of them were very committed to the job. The people at Great Sky definitely were.)

In the years since the panels have been working hard every day without issue. The only maintenance we've had to do involved a squirrel chewing through a high voltage line... but Great Sky got us back online right away (and gave us some great recommendations for how to keep the squirrels safe in the future!)

In 2018 we had Great Sky Solar install 23 panels on the South-facing roof of our home on Cape Cod. I researched many solar companies before settling on Great Sky. They answered all our questions and came up with an efficient design. The whole process was straightforward and smooth. Installation was very fast and professional. We have been thrilled with the savings on electricity that solar provides to an all electric house. When we had to convert from cell phone reporting to wifi, Great Sky was very helpful. And when one micro inverter was not reporting production, a crew came back twice to remap the solar array and replace the malfunctioning part. This is a great and responsive company employing knowledgeable and friendly people.

Great Sky is a fantastic company, highly recommended. I researched and got bids from all the top large and smaller installers, Great Sky has a very different philosophy starting from the top down with their founder, which aligns incentives for the company and the customer. They installed a large array on multiple of my roofs, as well as 2 Enphase batteries, monitoring etc. I've had very few issues over 4 years in operation, the generation has been great and as per their modeling, and when there has been a service issue they've been responsive, super friendly, and taken care of it.

I can’t recommend Great Sky enough. Late summer of 2024 we had 41 solar panels installed on our roof. From planning, to the installation, everything went smoothly. They were easy to work with and responsive. It’s also great that they’re a local company.

Fantastic company. Very competitive pricing and a pleasure to work with this employee-owned local business. They were not the rock-bottom lowest price, but they allowed us to choose exactly the right (highest quality) equipment for our needs. They handled everything in terms of permitting, installation and coordination with National Grid.
After a little over 3 years, the system has paid us back almost 60% of our total install cost and we are on track to break-even in 6 years and then free electricity!!! We have not had to pay an electric bill since installing solar and hopefully never will again.
Company service is fantastic - we had one of the panels' microinverter fail and they came out and replaced in less than a week and we did not even have to be home. Because they designed the system right, our solar power generation never stopped even though one panel was offline for a few weeks.

We loved our experience with Great Sky! They were competitively priced and very easy to work with pre-installation. The actual installation was quick and clean--3 stories up on a small city lot--and they even came out the next year to replace an underperforming panel. Seems like a really nice local company that treats their employees well, and we are SO happy to be producing our own electricity!
