Derek did an awesome job in five hours installing my PRx home gym with retractable bench and wall storage for barbell and barbell plates. He was very friendly and efficient. All he had to start with was a bunch of boxes and vague instructions — he worked magic in a short time to get everything ready.

Alan L. did an excellent job adjusting the location of the OVR microwave oven so that the door could be opened fully. I was very happy with the results! He was on time, courteous and very friendly. He also did an additional small job that I appreciated very much. In addition, Janice was very responsive and conscious in setting up the appointment. I would highly recommend Alan and Ace Handyman services.

A very tricky installation of some soundproofing in our labs. They guys did an exceptional job!

Matt did a great job of adding a closet structure around an existing server system. With positive airflow and additional venting, finished work and painting all done, it looks like it was part of the original structure. Great attention to detail and aesthetics!

Alan from Ace Handyman Services was fantastic! We needed a pocket door repaired (stuck inside the wall, wouldn't open). Alan came out and made an accurate assessment of what was needed to make the repair (which included opening the wall) and then came back the next week and made the repair efficiently and with great skill. He minimized any unnecessary drywall cutting and did a superb job. Neat, clean and very precise. It's clear that Alan takes his work seriously and takes great pride in a job well done. We are eager to have Alan come out to do more work for us! Highly recommend!!

Finally, a construction team you can count on to execute small and medium sized projects! Everyone that I dealt with was professional, responsive, communicative, and knowledgeable in their craft. The work was fairly priced. Every project has hiccups, and when ours had one, the team addressed the issue immediately and appropriately. We had the team install new cornice work, fireplace surround, mantle and radiator enclosure. Would use Ace again in a heartbeat.

I just had the pleasure of having Mike come over to help me adjust cabinetry to fit in my new microwave. The entire process from the scheduling, the actual work, creative solutions - was excellent! Highly recommend their services! You will not be disappointed!

ACE Hardware Handymen were outstanding, polite, professional and quite efficient. I would return to them anytime I need work done that I can’t do for one reason or another.

The work itself was well done -- it involved repairing a balcony railing that had suffered storm damage and after the repair you couldn't tell there had been any damage or repair -- and Alan L., the Ace rep who undertook the job was professional. I especially appreciated that he took time to talk through his approach to the job and that he re-used most of the wood from the damaged railings.

My one complaint is that the final cost we were charged for the job was almost double (75% more than) the estimate we were provided. It was a small job -- initially quoted as five hours' work -- so the major discrepancy between estimate and final cost suggests either (a) that Ace Handyman is incapable of accurately estimating the time cost or prospective small jobs or, worse (b) that they deliberately low-ball estimates to secure more jobs.
