Searched around with several different companies and lucked out finding Great Sky Solar. In short, they provide excellent service, have a super friendly staff and perform top notch work. I really can’t say enough good things about Great Sky, they came through for us just in the nick of time as we were on the verge of signing on with a different company, thankfully we did not. Everyone we dealt with at Great Sky was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful and made the whole process easy. There were a lot of of moving parts so this says a lot, we had our roof and garage roof replaced entirely before the solar panels could be installed, they took care of the entire project and everything came out perfect. I had an unrelated issue come up, reached out to Great Sky and they sent two crew to come out and inspect the area to make sure there was nothing faulty with the roof (there wasn’t) all within a few days. I would use Great Sky again in a heartbeat.

Great Sky did a residential installation for us in Arlington 6 years ago, after they were recommended by multiple friends. The price was reasonable and the techs were very easy to work with. The system has been working great! Their projections for generated power were spot on and they were honest about possible extra projects not being financially positive for us. Highly recommended all around.

Great Sky installed rooftop solar on our house in Cambridge at the end of 2024. Our experience with them was wonderful. I started my solar panel project by contacting Energysage. They are great and with their help I got three bids from Solar panel companies. I chose Great Sky Solar. (Cool name! ) They installed the panels for a neighbor who only had good reviews for them. They were fantastic from beginning to end. I did not get batteries for my system but I would choose them again if I decided to buy batteries . Their estimated power generation of my system was spot on.

The installation was completed without any bumps and the system was up and running in no time. They really went the extra mile to get the job done!

I absolutely scoured the solar market in New England before deciding to go with Great Sky Solar for my home. Throughout the presales process, their team of analysts walked me through a variety of scenarios and configurations, and helped me arrive at a design that was the best fit for my current and future electricity use. Overall, the price per watt was very reasonable; not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but a fantastic value. The entire process to that point felt more like a consulting engagement than a sales pitch, which I greatly appreciated.

Even after signing the contract, they were amenable to a couple of configuration changes that I needed to make. The project manager and analyst team were super flexible and responsive, had the permits processed and approved in the time frame they shared with me, and the installers did a very clean job between the electrical and the panel work. Nine months later, I am still very happy with my investment and do not expect that I will have much of an electricity bill for the foreseeable future.

We contracted with Great Sky in late 2020 for 2x 20-Panel ground-mount arrays: 40 panels total. Consistently over the last 5 years, Great Sky has COMPLETELY delivered! Our system design called for a maximum 14.4 MWh of solar powered electricity. To date, just over 5 years from our turn-on date, Great Sky's design team, engineers, installers, and fantastic front office personnel have provided us with 73.9 MWh of generated electricity. David Bridge and his team are invested in our success. Great Sky is the real-deal. Trust, honesty, and reliability have been hallmarks of our relationship with Great Sky.

Great Sky solar installed my system in May of 2021. The entire process was effortless. From the first discussion with sales staff to the completion of the project, you always felt that you were dealing with a highly reputable company. The installation team was respectful of the property and amazingly efficient. Since our panels went active we haven’t had a single electric bill and we actually have a credit of $1,700.00 as of February 2026. It’s important to mention that we heat and cool with heat pumps and at this point the system has recouped roughly 50% of its installation costs. Great Sky Solar is Great. They were very professional and courteous throughout our journey to get solar installed on our house. The install was flawless. They also did a great job filing and asking for all the information needed to connect our panel to the grid and be enrolled in MA SMART incentives. Furthermore, when we had a micro inverter fail a year after install, they came out and replaced it. No hassle necessary. I’ve already recommended them to our neighbor who had a similar experience. I’d recommend them again.
