I have used Kris twice in the last year.He is fair in price and does an incredible job. He goes above and beyond -always promptly responds to calls I highly recommend him

Kris did a great job changing out light fixtures and adding recess lights in 2 rooms. He was very prompt and was always on time . He did some additional work as well and brighter up the house considerably.

I've had Barkett Electric do a few jobs at my house incuding wiring in my hot tub. Kris the owner has expertise and attention to detail which are second to none. He's always punctual, professional, and goes the extra mile to ensure the job is done right. I highly recommend him & his company for any electrical needs!

Truly lucky to have found Barkett Electric. Kris is an amazing electrician who listens to our concerns and delivers exactly what is needed, going the extra mile by making sure the installation looks and performs how he would want it in his own home.

As an example, he installed a dining room pendant lamp for us, and he noticed after installing it that the lamp shade seam was visible and a little bit of an eyesore. He pointed it out to us and proceeded to re-do the installation so the seam faced the window and we didn’t see it from inside the house.

He’s also very respectful of our home, making sure he’s careful to not damage, scuff or stain our walls and ceilings and he leaves a very clean job site.

Chris was very communicative, polite and Responsive the couple times I have called him. He did a great job and I would highly recommend.him!

I couldn't discern why my electric panel kept tripping and then I heard a pop each time I tried to flip it on. I then saw wisps of smoke above my water heater. I needed help fast. I found Mr. Barkett's number, called him and he was at my house within the hour. His action and adv8ce led me too resolve the entire situation within the following two hours. He also followed up to make sure things were running smoothly. He is a true professional and has reasonable pricing.

We were having partial power outages in our house that occurred a few times over the course of a week. I called Kris, he was able to come quickly, check the panel and a few other things. But the power was fully on when he arrived and he explained he'd really need to be here when it was happening. It did occur the next morning, he came over within an hour and quickly determined the problem to likely be external to the house. When Eversource came to check it out, they found a loose wire at the pole and took care of it. Kris being able to come to the house so quickly and diagnose the problem was very appreciated. I can highly recommend him and look forward to contacting him for future electrical service needs.

Kris is very professional and does great work. I am usually very nervous when work is being done on my home but I could tell upon meeting him that he could be trusted and cares about what he does. He fixed an issue that was causing water to leak into my fuse box. I felt his pricing was very fair and was impressed by his communication. He confirmed appointments and kept me updated as he completed the work. He will be my go to electrician from now on and I highly recommend him.

We just had Kris complete a project in our newly purchased home. Kris was exceptional to say the least. He is very polite, professional, clean and organized. His pricing is definitely competitive and his work is obviously well skilled. He repaired/corrected our electrical panel, corrected our weatherhead (outdoor inlet), improved on some localized wiring, and install a few new outlets. I would highly recommend him as his work, reliability, and communication created a great initial engagement - we will definitely be using him again. Simply excellent.

I had to update 2 outlets to use GFCI and Barkett Electric exceeded my expectations. I have plans to work with them again in the future for additional GFCIs as needed along with installing fixtures etc. One of the things that I like about this business is that it's a small business and it's local here to Longmeadow. They are professional, honest, and work with integrity.

Kris is one the most professional contractors I have ever worked with. His workmanship is perfection and the level of respect with which he works is unparalleled (prompt, sets expectations, personable, trustworthy). I could not recommend him more highly, I wish there were more than 5 stars!

We received Kris’ contact information from another tradesperson. I’m usually hesitant about using the services of unfamiliar people, but we are SO happy (and honestly grateful) to have met Kris. Kris has completed many electrical projects in our home and no project seems too big or too small for him. Every time we contact him, we receive a prompt and friendly response. I called Barkett Electric to investigate a non-working outlet and within 90 mins of my call, Kris had called me back, come out, assessed the problem, fixed the issue and even fixed a couple of other issues I didn't even know about.
