I had the pleasure to meet with Mr Walter Proodian recently in my home. We have a large vintage hand-knotted Kerman Oriental Rug which was given to us by my in-laws. They purchased this rug and many others from the Proodian Rug Company many, many years ago. They are all beautiful!
We needed to have this large rug cleaned and refringed and also to get a new pad for the rug.
The work was done beautifully and it was returned by Walter himself..
We plan to have several of our other Kerman Oriental Rugs cleaned by him and his team and they are scheduled for a later date this summer.
It was so wonderful to work with the present owner of HIS family business.

Proodian cleaned an old hand hooked wool rug that had been rolled up down cellar for a number of years. I was not sure if it was worth cleaning, but it looks amazing ! Service was friendly and professional.The results were better than I anticipated. I would definitely recommend Proodian Rug Cleaners

We used Proodian in the past to clean some ancient but valuable oriental rugs and they did a superb job. That was a few years ago. So of course, When our dog urinated on a 5x7 Tibetan handmade rug cleaned, I didn’t hesitate to call Proodian. Walter responded immediately to my inquiry and told me they were in the midst of a large project in the New Hamphire area. Somehow, he managed to figure out how to squeeze in my little job and arranged for the rug handoff. I thought they did a wonderful job on the rug. I would recommend them to anyone looking for this service. And the price was very reasonable. I appreciate the level of professionalism and friendliness. Not surprising that they have been in business for so long.

Proodian arrived first thing in the morning and did a great job. They added protectant as well. Even though we expected the carpets to be damp when we got home, they were pretty dry. I would highly recommend.

Proodian Rug Company was a wonderful experience. Walter was very personable and professional. He was on time and kept me informed. He cleaned my carpet stairs and they look like new. He took all my rugs away to clean them. When they were laid down they looked fantastic. The oriental rugs were vibrant and bright. The Sunbrella rug which had been badly stained looked brand new! Even the other rug in our den looked new. I was very impressed and would highly recommend them to any one. Thank you Walter! Great job!

Walter and the team at Proodian Rugs were incredible! True rug and upholstery professionals and I cannot recommend them enough. I did not think it was possible to clean the rug in my daughters room - I thought it would need to be replaced - but he did the unimaginable and it looks almost new. It was startling and I am so happy. He got pet stains out of the couch and lots of stains and foot traffic out of wall to wall carpet. He delivered on everything he said he would, took time and care during the job, and was totally reliable. We are so happy we used Proodian and will again!

I'd been looking for a local, family owned upholstery and rug cleaner to take the place of a wonderful cleaner I'd used for many years.
Luckily, after I was deceptively channeled to national chains, I found Proodian Rug Cleaners. Walter Proodian's came to my home to see what need to be done and what process was needed. I knew right away he takes pride in his work.
Proodian is family owned. They take pride in their work and are very knowledgeable about materials and techniques.

Others gave the upholstery a onceover, leaving furniture looking very much like it did before they started. They're quickly In and out Proodian takes the time to set up, protect floors and areas where they're working. They pretreat, and give each item a thorough cleaning. If it can be cleaned they will clean it because they care about their work and their reputation.

Walter was very good communicating when setting up the appointment, the time of arrival, delivery of carpets after cleaning.

I've seen the good, the bad and the best. They are the best. Honestly can't praise them enough.

Excellent service. I sent 4 oriental rugs out for cleaning, two of which were quite large. Mr. Proodian picked them up promptly and delivered them back in absolutely beautiful condition. They look brand new again! They were also able to outfit me with new, custom-cut, high-quality rug pads for each one.

This business obviously cares about doing a great job and providing excellent service. They also know how to properly take care of expensive, handmade rugs. I will definitely use their services again!

Proodian cleaned and Moth proofed our wool area rugs. One was newly purchased, but I went ahead and had it cleaned. My rugs were picked up and delivered in a timely fashion. I had 5 rugs cleaned and they were expertly cleaned. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. Pictures of 2 of the rugs are below. I am very happy and would use Proodian again.

Great service and attention to detail with Proodian Rug. My oriental rugs were in pretty rough shape after years of human and pet wear on them (two dogs). I rented a rug cleaner a few times but that didn't really clean that well and I believe wore rugs down some. I was ready to get rid of the rugs and then called Proodian. Walter , the owner, was great to work with. I sent him pictures and he told me they had to be cleaned a few times and he would see what he could do. I picked up the carpets today and couldn't be happier with the results. The colors are more vibrant. It is worth the money to get a professional clean and so much better than trying to do it on your own. Proodian has decades of experience cleaning fine rugs, a special process and equipment that is used, and a great reputation. I will be getting my rugs cleaned at least every 2 years. I have had Proodian clean both my wall to wall carpets as well as area rugs several times. Always do an excellent job. Proodian also repaired a seam that unravelled in my family room carpet and did a great job! Highly recommend their services.
