Constraction reviews in Marblehead, Massachusetts

Ortega did a fantastic job renovating 3 bathrooms. Very efficient , neat and completed the job on time. The bathrooms came out beautiful. I would highly recommend Ortega.

I have the best things to say about Mr. Ortega!! He has redone two bathrooms in our home and we were both thrilled with his work and the finished product. Highly recommend

I highly recommend Ortega Construction . He has done a number of projects for me and I’ve never been dissatisfied. He is a skilled craftsman, professional, hard working and honest . You will not go wrong in hiring Ortega Construction ! .

Mr Ortega has done projects for us ranging from roof repairs to a bathroom remodel to constructing a back deck to a kitchen backsplash and more. Every project has been completed perfectly, on time, and at a fair price. He is first on our list for any future projects.

We have worked with Ambriorix and team 3 times over past 7-8 years. His work has always been excellent. He is reliable, works efficiently and has great communication. His pricing is reasonable. I will definitely call him again for projects!

I have three decks on my house and they were looking old and falling apart. Ambiorix was able to upgrade all three to PVC and now they look fantastic and feel safe. I was amazed at how fast and efficient he was. You cannot find a better contractor who can properly address all your construction needs.

Ortega Construction, Ambiorix Ortega, has been my go to contractor for over 12 years. I have multiple properties on the North Shore and he has been a dependable and diligent contractor. I have relied on Ambiorix for minor repairs and major improvements to my properties. He is fairly priced and always gives accurate estimates on jobs. I strongly recommend Ortega Construction for all
your home improvement or renovation/remodel/repair projects large or small.

Ortega is the best! He is responsive and always performs quality work at fair prices. He has completed multiple projects at my house including installation of a very nice modern second story 150 square foot deck, kitchen update, building a master closet system, and even fence work in my yard. He is truly a jack of all trades and a great guy to boot.I will continue to rely on Ambiorix for my work needs and strongly suggest him.

Ambiorix is a pro! He thorough, thoughtful and his work is top notch. Ambiorix is a pleasure to work with. He completes projects on time and within budget.

Ambiorix is a top notch professional who I trust,
He commits to a price & schedule and then delivers on what he agreed to. He has an uncanny ability to troubleshoot & resolve issues others may walk away from. I have always been pleased with his work and oftentimes impressed with his level of detail ... like providing pictures of his work.
He remolded a 1/2 bath for me transforming it into a Powder Room with wainscotting & tiled floors all in an efficient & a cost effective manner .. see attached pics one of the original old black & white bathroom & two of the updated powder room.

Helpful and quick to respond - highly recommend.

Phenomenal craftsmanship. Phenomenal service. Highly recommend!

SS Construction recently renovated my entire home. Branden and his crew were on time, on budget, and had a fantastic attitude. I highly recommend SS Construction.

Strung me along for two months on a large project. They committed to follow-up calls and site visits that they never made. Constant excuses. Repeatedly prompted them nicely asking if they were still interested (or not); they kept confirming they were while doing nothing afterwards. They finally ghosted me altogether after one final attempt. Unprofessional run-around. The worst part isn’t that they may not do the work; it’s the chance they’ll mislead you for weeks and weeks and then disappear.

We hired S&S to remodel our kitchen and bathrooms. The work was done extremely well. On time and on budget! Branden even helped us with the design and we are very happy!

Branden and his S&S team were awesome. Always punctual and willing to work with us. They helped us stay within budget and finished work within the tight timeline we gave them. Really friendly group of guys!

S&S finished my attic. They were punctual, professional, and their work was top notch. We were so happy with their work that we had them do additional projects. We would highly recommend them, and plan to work with them again in the future.

Branden has been a pleasure to work with - He's communicated with us on a regular basis, let us know what he was going to do and when, performed the work in a timely manner, and the cost was very reasonable. We're thrilled with the finish product! Highly recommended!

We can’t say enough great things about Branden and his team! They are so wonderful and easy to work with! Branden is always available to answer my questions or offer ideas. They kept a tight schedule and stayed on budget. We would recommend S&S a million times over!!!!

My family and I recently purchased a 1933 home in Marblehead that had just been “flipped” by Branden and the S&S team. We fell in love the instant we walked through the doors. Wonderful period details blended with modern amenities and coastal touches. The house is bright and well-appointed, spacious but warm and comfortable. After we moved in, Branden was always receptive to a wide variety of “new owner” questions and even came by a time of two to help us with some small projects. We are very happy new homeowners and wouldn’t hesitate to call S&S for any future projects, large or small.

Branden and the S&S team completed a full gut renovation of our home in Marblehead in early 2019. We couldn’t be happier with the journey and the results.

They did everything right from day 1 through completion:
- Throughout the project, S&S used only high quality materials and the results show that they attend to every detail.
- Branden was highly responsive and flexible in meeting with us throughout
- He was transparent with cost, timelines and progress.
- He went above and beyond in guiding us through a range of design and finishing decisions as well as in helping us navigate the inevitable unforeseen issues in a rehab.

With S&S you don’t have to worry about the scary things your friends tell you about their contractors. Take on that project you’ve been debating with S&S.
