We recently hired Somar Landscape for a fall cleanup, and they exceeded all our expectations. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left our yard looking absolutely spotless. They handled everything - from leaf removal to debris cleanup - with great attention to detail. We would highly recommend them.

I’ve been a customer of Somar Landscape for over 15 years, and their fall cleanups have always been impeccable. If there was ever a year when they could have been excused for not doing a final clean sweep of the leaves, this was the year, when many were buried by an early snow in November and remained so until late December. While a less reputable business might have used the freak weather as an excuse to not finish the job, without my prodding Somar got a crew out between storms and cold to complete the service. Year after year they prove to me their integrity and appreciation for their customers.

On 12Jun2020 we received an invoice for a mow and trim service with a service date of 08May2020. As we both were home this day I can confirm this work was never completed. We also had not requested service from your company in 2020. Last year when Mr Pitol came to our house we discussed working with you for the 2019 season and agreed on a rate of $45.00 per week. You informed us should we continue with your service the fee would increase to $50.00 per week in 2020. We told you in person at this time we would use your services in 2019 as we had just moved in but that we would be using someone different in 2020.

Upon receiving the invoice for the mow in 2020 we called your office and were informed that we had not signed a letter to discontinue service in 2020 so we had to pay for a service we did not request. If you had actually completed this work we would pay but this is not the case. We also did not receive any letter and asked you to resend this document. On 12Jun2020 I emailed again asking for this letter, and proof of the work we were charged for in 2020, as I have explained we were both home on the day you billed us for a mow and did not see anyone from your company that day. Our new landscaper cut our grass the next week, it was quite high as it was the first cut of the year.

I have discussed this twice with your office manager and emailed you on your website. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

I have been using V Pitol Landscaping for years. In addition to standard services like mowing and yard cleanup, they have done multiple landscape and hardscape projects. These include stone wall construction, stump removal, filling, yard installation, driveways, walkways, fencing, and irrigation. Van has a really good sense of design and planning. Each project was completed on time and within budget, which included great pricing. On top of all this, they quickly respond to emergencies, e.g., broken sprinklers and fallen trees. All of their work is done with a friendly smile. I am always happy to see their truck at my house!
