Home Services reviews in Melrose, Massachusetts

Careless, crass and rude. Very unprofessional and couldn’t care less about the quality of their work.

Great service- Brian was super easy to deal with- up front guy and went above and beyond what I expected. Would recommend to anyone who will listen.

The address of this establishment shows as Melrose, MA. When I called to book their service, they said they don’t service Melrose and abruptly disconnected.

donovan and Jacob were punctual, enlightening, and left the house smelling as if a fabric conditioner had exploded. With the carpet cleaning from Top Melrose Carpet Cleaning, I'm noticing less dust on my carpets and cleaner air. Super thrilled to see if this helps with allergies for my little one in Melrose as well.

Jacob arrived promptly for my urgent carpet cleaning needs! He was incredibly responsive to my queries and was very helpful. He took the time to explain all the available options to me. When the situation proved to be more complicated, Donovan stepped in to assist. Just like Jacob, Donovan also provided detailed explanations and showed me exactly what was happening with the carpet fibers. I would highly recommend Top Melrose Carpet Cleaning.

Recently, I assisted a friend with moving, and when we arrived at the rental home, we found the carpets in terrible condition. It appeared that the previous tenant hadn’t cleaned up after their dog, leaving the carpets quite dirty and with an unpleasant smell. There was also some mold and mildew, which made us pause before moving in his belongings. We discovered Top Melrose Carpet Cleaning, and they came to our rescue! The team was friendly and worked quickly to restore the carpets, making everything neat and fresh in no time. They also took care of the air ducts, which were in need of attention, and their pricing was very fair for the service provided. We highly recommend them to anyone needing carpet cleaning services! Excellent work!

i highly recommend top melrose carpet cleaning! we live in a home that's 32 years old, and i don't think the carpets had ever been cleaned, so it was about time! i reached out and received a response just a few hours later. they arrived the very next day, provided me with a fantastic quote, and we scheduled the carpet cleaning right away! it feels great to know that there’s nothing harmful left in the carpets - they even included a special treatment at no extra charge because they thought it would be beneficial. i will definitely recommend them to everyone i know, and we will certainly use their services again in the future!

Our HOA discovered a fantastic solution for our heavily trafficked, carpeted main front stairwell with a professional carpet cleaning service. Donovan and Jacob were punctual, personable, and effective, managing to eliminate years of foot traffic from the carpeted stairs until they looked and smelled brand new. This was no easy task, considering the number of units regularly using the stairs, each with a dog. The quoted price was the final price, with no complications or issues. We were so pleased with the results, we plan to engage their services again for future carpet cleaning needs in Melrose.

Donovan arrived at my residence in Melrose to take care of my carpet and recliner cleaning needs! He took the time to explain the entire process to me while he was diligently working. I was absolutely blown away by the amount of dirt and sand that was extracted, all tracked in by my two dogs. I was thoroughly impressed with the service provided by Top Melrose Carpet Cleaning. I would certainly recommend Donovan and I definitely plan on inviting him back for future cleaning needs!

I am thoroughly pleased with the outstanding service provided by Top Melrose Carpet Cleaning. The whole experience was nothing less than superb from beginning to end. Donovan, the technician, displayed professionalism and friendliness, making the whole procedure straightforward. His knowledge and informative style left me feeling confident and well-educated. I had a nagging worry about a deep stain on a portion of my carpet, but to my satisfaction, Donovan skillfully removed it, leaving my carpet looking immaculate. Additionally, with most of my Melrose home having tile floors, my biggest worry was about the dull grout in high-traffic areas. However, upon returning home, I was amazed to see my tiles shining as if they were brand new. The transformation was striking; the tiles were gleaming, and the grout had regained its original light color. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the team for delivering such remarkable results. The attention to detail they provided was truly outstanding.

We were dealing with an awful smell emanating from the bedroom heating vent. Initially, we engaged another carpet cleaning company to address the problem. They simply vacuumed the vent, sprayed some cleaning solution, and suggested we use deodorant balls and 'see what happens.' Unfortunately, the unpleasant odor lingered. The following day, Donovan from a different carpet cleaning service visited our Melrose home. Despite finding nothing in the vent, he decided to investigate further. Donovan donned protective gear and went beneath our home where he discovered a deceased rat atop the heater vent. He promptly removed it and cleaned the area thoroughly. We were extremely impressed with the high quality of service and the level of care demonstrated. It was evident that this carpet cleaning service truly values their customers.

With just a few hours' notice, right before Christmas, Top Melrose Carpet Cleaning quickly took care of my urgent carpet cleaning and Scotchgard needs. Many other companies wanted to charge extra fees for short notice and the holiday season, but they were the only ones who could come out so fast. We are so grateful that our needs were met without any additional charges. Best of all, our carpets look and smell brand new! It’s like a miracle, especially after several pet accidents recently. We truly appreciate the time and effort put in, along with the kindness shown during the visit. We were so glad you didn’t mind having little ones around who wanted to watch and ask questions. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday! We will certainly recommend your services to friends and family, as we are absolutely thrilled! We can’t wait to use your services again.

I have guests coming soon, and our spare bedroom, which we use as an office, had a carpet that was quite dirty from years of foot traffic, plus a stain from an accident. I really didn't want our guests to stay in a room with such a messy carpet. I was skeptical about whether a cleaning service could help, but wow! The carpet looks like it's brand new! It didn't take much time at all. Then we tackled the tile and grout in our entryway. The outcome was just as fantastic! The tile and grout now shine like new! I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. Donovan was amazing—hardworking, efficient, professional, and so friendly. Great job, Donovan!

when i moved into my new place, the carpet was in really bad shape, probably from the last people who had pets. with not much time before my family arrived, i called for carpet cleaning and they sent jacob the same day. he listened to what i needed, vacuumed, treated, and cleaned the carpets so well that they looked completely different. the service was friendly, quick, and also really affordable. they definitely deserve five stars and i’ll always call them for carpet cleaning from now on.

I called about carpet cleaning, not realizing they had already closed for the day, but they still picked up the phone. I explained my urgent situation with little kids running around on the carpets and needing things cleaned fast. Donovan didn’t need any more details and came over right away, even though it was after hours, to get the carpets cleaned immediately. My carpets look amazing now. I highly recommend this carpet cleaning service—very fast and prices are very reasonable.

We've enlisted the help of Donovan on a couple of occasions at our residence in Melrose. The first time was for a thorough carpet cleaning of our main floor, and the second instance involved a massive spill/a toddler accident that resulted in a large quantity of cleaning products and dish soap being dumped onto our basement carpet in the large living room. Trust me, it was a mess. We tried to vacuum up the water ourselves but couldn't manage to eliminate the foam and soap despite hours of persistent effort. So, we got in touch with Top Melrose Carpet Cleaning. Donovan arrived within three hours, equipped with soap neutralizer and a high-powered vacuum that successfully sucked up all the water. After he left, there was absolutely no soap residue remaining. Donovan is very meticulous in his work and also friendly. He even managed to share a few laughs with my two children. We will definitely be calling on his carpet cleaning services again in the future, as our experiences have been consistently positive.

We chose Top Melrose Carpet Cleaning after reading reviews about their carpet restretching services, which was exactly what we needed. Some of our bedrooms had bumps and lumps where the carpet had come loose. Jacob and Donovan arrived quickly, acted professionally, and communicated well throughout the process. They carefully moved our furniture, finished the restretching job, vacuumed the carpets, and put everything back in place fast. The bubbling was completely gone, and our carpets looked fresh and smooth again. Even months later, everything still looks perfect! We highly recommend Top Melrose Carpet Cleaning for carpet restretching.

I have nothing but great things to share about a carpet cleaning service. Jacob came over and really put me at ease by explaining the situation with my carpet and padding setup. After a few days of drying, he returned to clean my carpet. Jacob and his partner made quick work of my bedroom carpet. It looks spotless, smells amazing, and they finished the job in no time. I couldn't have asked for a more friendly, knowledgeable, or efficient experience. I will definitely keep their contact for my future carpet cleaning needs.
