As a young couple and first time home owners, we felt overwhelmed by the amount of service providers we had coming in and out giving us extremely high estimates on repair costs or who told us they would 'follow up' and then we had never heard back from them. Needham Oil & Air has been out about 3 times in the last 3 months and we are so pleased with their service each and every time. Rick has been the one to consistently come which is so helpful to not only see a familiar face but he already understands the layout of our home, the system we use and what we are interested in. They are always so quick to accommodate our schedules, requests for last minute appointments and Rick always provides us with his honest options. We highly recommend Needham Oil & Air and won't be using anyone else in the future!

Want to say how much I appreciate the detail shown by Jim during his annual A/C service call. In past years he's caught things that could easily have been missed. This includes a small leak in evaporator that was just inside the warranty period. Also, this year he replaced some rubber bushings that returned our compressor to it's previously quiet operation. Jim and the folks at Needham Oil Complete Heating and Cooling, who did our central air install 10 years ago, have been great. And we've enjoyed a decade of hassle free cooling.

Jim found there is fan motor issue last week and he ordered new one to replace it. Rick replaced fan motor and fixed old wires today as well as let me know how to maintain A/C unit during winter time and to keep clean around A/C unit. He did wonderful job today and we enjoy A/C again! Great team to work with!

Jim arrived mid-afternoon and immediately took care of all if the indoor maintenance including cleaning the grates , installing new filters and the maintenance of the two units. He then proceeded to the maintenance and checkout of the two exterior units . All work was done in a timely fashion and in a very professional manner. Jim has performed our yearly maintenance since we had the air-conditioning units installed and we have experienced only a capacitor replacement in all the time that we have had the units. A job well done in all respects.

Jim has done the annual maintenance for our home for several years. Some of the equipment is old and he always offers great advice on how to ensure everything runs smoothly without breaking the bank. He is thorough but works with efficiency. He always arrives with a smile and he never disrupts anything else going on the house. It's reassuring knowing we have an expert for our system. 5 stars!

Alan has serviced our central air system for several years and kept it in good working order. We finally had to replace it and went back to Needham Oil last summer. The new system is a heat pump and has worked very well. Alan is always reliable, comes during the scheduled time, completes the work in a timely manner and answers all my questions.

We contracted Needham Oil to replace an aging attic air conditioner. The job turned out to be more complex than anticipated. The installation was further complicated by rainstorms and the need to run an electrical line via a new route. No problem for Randy, Jeff, Jason, Bill and team. They completed the installation in a timely manner, and at a competitive price. Absolute pros. Hire with confidence.

I've been using the Needham Oil team over the last year for both delivery of oil and boiler maintenance as well having them do a major A/C installation. I can't say enough good things. First off their customer service is second to no one based on my experience with other local providers. They are extremely prompt and responsive, for example we had an issue with our boiler on a very cold day and they had a service technician come within an hour to assess and correctly fix. Additionally we utilized them to do a two floor A/C install last spring which consisted of both traditional ducts for the second floor/attic and mini-split units on the first floor. Randy did a great job coordinating/managing the project and Chris and Jeff did a tremendous job executing the actual installation. You can tell they took pride in their work and respected their customers as they were very polite, meticulous, clean, and thorough. It's comforting to have found a team/company like Needham Oil to be able to rely on for years to come.

We had our annual AC checkout and maintenance. Jim came promptly on time and did a great job. He was friendly and courteous and made sure to keep his presence in the house clean and neat. He is very experience and knowledgable. He not only checked the functionality of the unit both inside and outside of the house, but also thoroughly cleaned it and around it in the yard. I'll welcome him back anytime.

We hired Complete heating and air, formerly Needham oil and air, to repair two of our central air conditioning units. The service man, Jim, was on time, was considerate, pleasant, and even taught me a little bit about the wiring on the units. He quickly diagnosed the problem on each of the units, Made the repairs and got them both up and working properly, and the charge was reasonable. I would definitely use this company again, and recommend it to my friends.

Jim did a fantastic job during the service visit. He followed all COVID protocols and was very patient with all my queries. He also made solid recommendations on potential things to consider for the future. I would definitely recommend Jim highly and would love for him to service our system again in the future.

We recently needed a new blower motor. Needham Oil staff worked efficiently to order a new one and Jim came out to install it. He was personable, professional, and consummately competent. He thoughtfully answered all my questions and occasionally introduced a bit of humor. We were up and running again in just a few days. We woke up Friday morning before a long weekend to 50 degree temps in our house and an alert on my phone that the heat had failed in the middle of the night. Although I had never used them before, living in Needham, I called Needham Oil in the hope that a local shop would be able to get someone to us sooner. When I called the main number, I was told that gas heat was handled out of a different office, in Franklin no less. When I called the Franklin office and told them our situation, Barbara told me that with the current stretch of cold weather she was completely booked up throughout the day, she didn't see anywhere she could fit us in, one tech already had 7 calls, etc. But then she asked for my contact info and address, and said "okay, someone will be there between 8 and 12." I guess at the same time she was telling me how busy they were, Barbara was working her Rubik's cube of a schedule. And at 9:30, Jeremy showed up at our house. It didn't take too long for Jeremy to identify that there was an issue with the control panel. He then spent considerable time trying to determine if he could salvage the existing panel as he didn't believe he could get a replacement before the weekend. No luck with that. But Jeremy was not done, he found a replacement at a nearby supply house. Once the new panel was in place, one zone still was not operating properly, but Jeremy tracked down the issue up to the air handler in our attic and solved the problem. We are grateful to Barbara for her efforts to get us on the schedule and to Jeremy for the quality of his work on site. Complete Heating and Cooling has gained a new customer.
