Reviews of local pros in Newburyport, Massachusetts

Brian replied to me ASAP, he (and his crew) evaluated the work that needed to be done, gave me a VERY REASONABLE quote and completed the job early! If you have any electrical needs to be done I would highly recommend Brian and Powerhouse Electric.

Powerhouse Electrical Services was very prompt in replying and completing our repairs with friendly efficiency and competency! Happy to secure their services for all our electrical work!

Really great service! Super responsive and knowledgeable. Did a phenomenal job installing overhead lighting and getting Smart themostats running in my older home. Will absolutely be calling for any future electrical work I need done!

Best Electrical or Electrician Services, NEWBURYPORT!! You'll never meet a more professional group of electricians in the NEWBURYPORT area. We started with a very small scope of work and immediately fell in love with the best electricians in NEWBURYPORT. These folks were a "no brainer" in selecting them to be out electricians. We were so impressed with Brian and his crew with every visit. Not only did Brian share out vision for lighting results, he was able to deliver with stunning results. As a result of hiring him for some simple and cost effective results for recess lighting, we entrusted his crew to rewire our entire home for safety purposes. All I have to praise is their teams professionalism. We are forever grateful for Brandon, Conor, Brian and Christopher.

We used powerhouse a number of times when we lived in Boston and always had great experiences with Brian. He was reliable and followed through with items that were difficult to coordinate. We would recommend powerhouse to anyone looking for an electrician!

Brian (Powerhouse Electrical Services) has successfully completed a number of projects at our condominium over the last year and a half. I've found him to be prompt, thorough in his explanations when I had questions/ asked for consultation on electrical projects, and he's provided excellent detail and quality in his work. He took the time to ensure the finished product met our expectations. I would recommend Powerhouse Electrical Services to anyone in the greater Boston/ North Shore area!

Brian and his crew did a great job installing an EV charger in our detached garage. They upgraded the garage to 60A/240V and installed a new breaker panel to refeed the existing garage circuits. Communication was fast and professional, and the installation is clean and of high quality. Highly recommended!

Brian was excellent electrician to work with! He responded to my emergency needs quickly, and once he arrived solved the problem quickly. He is very professional and reasonable with his rates. I would recommend him to anyone needing Electrical service in Northeastern Mass and the South Cost of NH.

I have used Powerhouse Electric a couple of times now. One time it was for a serious issue and the other was relatively minor. They respond quickly and the electricians are knowledgeable and professional. Once they finished with the work, they reviewed everything with me and answered all of my questions. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Brian responded to my call within the hour and sent Connor to my house the next day.
Connor was professional and courteous; we were most pleased with his work.
I highly recommend Powerhouse!

I've used Powerhouse Electric Services twice and both experiences were excellent. They were professional, on time, and I felt the price was reasonable. I've recommended them to a friend who had the same experience.

Brian and his team are a pleasure to work with - they are our "go to" electricians for both projects and minor things that come up from time to time around the house. Communication is easy, they're on-time and reliable, and experts in their craft. Highly recommend to others!

We have been using Powerhouse since 2019 and Brian and his team are some of the best electricians we have ever worked with. The attention to detail is perfect and the knowledge they have is second to none! highly recommend!

Brian and his team are exceptional. We’ve worked with him for many projects and he is always super prompt in responding and was even able to do a same day service for us. Absolutely unheard of these days! We cannot recommend Powerhouse Electrical highly enough!

I've been working with Brian for over 2 years now and I can't say anything but great things. Brian and his crew are some of my favorite guys on the job site. They are hardworking, knowledgable, detail-oriented, and just all around great guys (big shout out to Conner and Chris, as well). If you're looking for a great electrician who does quality work and cares for high-level craftsmanship, I highly recommend Powerhouse - you won't be disappointed!

We needed wiring done for a new appliance. Brian and Connor were great to work with, and they got the job done within our tight timeframe, which was a huge help. We had some challenges with other contractors, so Brian made his team available to come back and finish the work, once the other people were done. We would definitely hire them again.

Brian helped me add three outside outlets to my house and put in recessed lighting in my kitchen. Brian and his team did a great job and I highly recommend them.

Brian and his team cleaned up 40 years of additions to our panel. They were knowledgeable, efficient and extremely neat. They are my new go to electrians.

These guys absolutely killed it. They were faced with a prior electrician's work that was less than what you'd like to have paid thousands for and they never gave up. Connor's team troubleshooted relentlessly and ultimately solved the issues at hand. These guys are great. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a dedicated team of individuals who know exactly what they're doing.

Powerhouse Electrical is amazing! Brian and team had done the electrical work in our new bathrooms a while back and I forgot to leave a review at the time. But I felt compelled to write one now because he and two of his team members worked a whole Saturday (their day off) in my home installing new kitchen lights because we host for Thanksgiving and we had next to no light. Even though they were booked for months, they made this emergency visit for us with no notice! Our kitchen is now bright and beautiful, just in time for the holiday. If you need a sparky, look no further. Powerhouse is worth the wait! 5 stars.
