I had a great experience with unified hvac service. The technician, Camden, was friendly and easy to work with. I reached out before my appointment to let them know that my thermostat was a communicating system, and I asked if they had the right thermostats available for replacement. They assured me they did, but when they arrived, they realized they needed to order a communicating thermostat instead. Even though there was a mix-up, Camden and the team were very understanding and offered to waive the service fee. I really appreciate how they took care of me as a customer.

Our air conditioning system needed to be replaced just as summer was heating up! With a 10-month-old at home, we wanted to get a new AC unit installed quickly. We contacted four HVAC companies, and one of them offered the best price for both an AC and gas furnace, along with the most efficient system (18 SEER). The next best option was a 15 SEER unit. After recently having insulation work done, we had Camden check the attic, and he noticed that the ductwork supply flow boxes weren’t insulated. He and his team kindly insulated those for us at no extra charge! The HVAC company scheduled the installation for the following week. They arrived at our home right on time in the morning and got to work immediately. The team was very efficient, ensuring everything was cleaned up before and after the job. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and completed the installation in just one day. I would highly recommend this HVAC service for all air conditioning needs and will certainly reach out to them again in the future.

I moved into a new home in Newton that had a heater warranty with parts covered for ten years through the installation contractor. When the heater stopped working, the original technician checked it and said the TXV valve was bad and needed to be replaced. They said the part would arrive in about two weeks. After waiting a week, we called to check, but the part still hadn’t arrived. At the end of the second week, it was still not available. In the third week, we reached out to Unified HVAC Service. Zachary came out the same day, around 5:00 PM, and took a look at the heater. He agreed that the TXV valve needed to be replaced and explained that he could get the part from a local warehouse and fix it the next day. Zachary returned as promised, installed the new TXV valve, recharged the system, and made sure the heater was working properly before leaving. He was on time, professional, and did a great job. We’re happy to keep using their services for our home heating needs.

A couple of weeks later, my heater had another problem and quit right before a cold snap. When I called the office, the person I spoke with was extremely helpful and somehow managed to send a technician even though they were very busy. This morning, Camden arrived, quickly figured out what was wrong, and repaired my unit at a fair price.
