From start to finish Foppema Tree was a pleasure to work with. We had 4 large trees removed in October. Two of the trees were very close to the house. They had the best quote out of everyone I spoke with and came the same day to look at the trees/quote the job. Communication was very easy throughout the process. On the day of service, I was at work and when I returned you couldn’t even tell they were in the yard except for that the 4 trees were gone. Very efficient and clean. HIGHLY recommend them!

We had Foppema clear eleven trees (sizeable oaks) today in less than two hours and I could not be happier with the service and the crew: Dam, Robbie, Nate, and Liam. Sam neatly stacked the logs I was keeping for firewood and chipped the rest. He operates their Green Machine with incredible precision. Pretty surprising to see their chipper eat an entire 16" diameter tree. Very professional and friendly the lot of them! Quote was extremely reasonable and other than a now open spot in the woods, there's no sign they were here! Hire these guys!

I had priced out to have 10 very large pine trees (+3' at the base) that were very close to my house removed. I also had problems with the conservation commission since the trees were within a buffer of the wetlands. Foppema came and gave a great price and an arborist letter which really helped with getting permission. Scheduling was easy and the day that they came to cut they were there early and worked around obstructions in my yard. Despite having large trucks I had no damage to my lawn or yard. They were quick and cleaned up the area very well. I would 100% recommend them.

We recently hired this company to remove multiple large trees from our yard, some very close to the house, and to also trim some other trees. They did a great job! Very responsive, great communication throughout the whole process. The crew that removed the trees were very professional and hard working. The machinery the crew used to remove the trees was very high tech and really allowed them to do the some of the more complex tree removal more quickly and without any issues - I never had any concerns even with the huge tree right next to our house. They performed the work exactly as they said they would. Price is very competitive. Would highly recommend their services.

Foppema tree was recommended by a friend, after three years in a row I had dead trees fall on my new fence costing about $1,000 in damages each time. I imagined cutting down big trees would be super expensive, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the quote. My only regret is that I didn’t have them come cut down the old dying trees sooner, I would’ve saved myself $3000 in damages to the fence. They give you a variety of options, from cutting down the tree and leaving it in place, to hauling the tree into the woods, or full service: removing the tree from the property altogether. They were quick to come to my house to evaluate the property, and the crew that came to do the work were quick and respectful (made sure my back gate was closed after work completed so my dogs won’t run away, made sure their truck wasn’t blocking my driveway, etc). Highly recommend!

Foppema Tree Care did a great job on my latest project. Matt came to see what was needed, and it's clear he knows his trees and how to care for them. Soon after, a crew of four arrived to remove a giant ash tree and three smaller ash that were dead or dying (thanks to the emerald ash beetle), and one of those super tall Eastern Pines that was rotten at the base. All 5 trees were in danger of falling on my house; 2 were right up against power lines as well. Sam operated the Merlo while the others worked constantly feeding the chipper, cleaning the area or trimming branches with the chain saw. No slackers in the bunch! They worked hard and efficiently, and when they left, my yard was clean.

Several years ago, Foppema Tree Care trimmed my Carolina Silverbell, and removed an oak tree that was hanging over my roof. Just like this time, their work was excellent, they cleaned up after themselves and they knew what they were doing. I highly recommend them.
