Colantuoni Bros Corp

The Colantuoni Bros purchased the house and property next to mine. They divided the property in half, and are currently building a large house on the lot. When they began building they needed to tear down a shed that bordered my property. They gave us no notice of this. They came on our property when we were at work, moved our grills to the middle of the yard and did not move them back, nor did they try to contact us about the need to be on our property. We have video of them on our property (see photo) during the demolition, from my neighbor who he saw her but did not contact her with what his plans were or why he was on our property. I would have been accommodating if they asked permission to be on our property, but felt the lack of notification was disrespectful. After I contacted the building department the next day, Mr. Colantuoni came to our house and attempted an apology, but seemed more bothered that I contacted the building department then apologizing for trespassing on our property and moving our belongings. He claimed that he left a note, but neither my husband nor I found any note. I had requested that we just receive a "heads up" for major events that might affect our property or home life, especially since I have 2 children. Since then, we have received no notice or communication in any form from Colantuoni Bros. Our neighborhood has had to deal with almost 2 weeks of digging through rocks, our street shut down, large vehicles parked on both sides of the street, not being able to turn off the busy street onto our street due to trucks backing in, and a blatant disrespect for anyone living in this neighborhood. I have contacted the building department and they claim that Mr. Colantuoni has told them that he has attempted to contact me several times. This is untrue. My only request was for some notification prior to major construction events, and I have no reason to lie about this. I cannot comment on the quality of the work of Colantuoni Bros Construction, but I question the quality of work from a contractor that is unethical, dis-honest and disrespectful and has no regards for the neighborhood he is working in.
