I do not recommend them. Guy showed up and charged me $100 for nothing, didn’t fix the problem, still don’t know what the problem is. I also had a minor leak and he made it worse, messaged him to tell him he made it worse and said it would be another $190 to come out and take a look at the leak when he had just left a few minutes ago.

I had Bashaw Plumbing and Heating install a mini-split system in my house. Casey was extremely professional, prompt and provided meticulous service. He acted as the General Contractor designing the system, hiring electricians and arranging the permits. He was on time and on budget. His years of experience were a huge asset during every phase of the project. If you need any service done in the plumbing or heating arena you can't go wrong with this company.

The pressure switch and gage broke so. Our well water tank. I called chase he was there soon after and fixed our issue. He was great and took time afterwards to explain the issue in detail and he as were all of our questions.

Great service! Called for an emergency with our furnace filling up with water. He knew exactly what was wrong and gave us a fix so that we could still have heat while the temps drop. Very professional and kind. Would highly recommend!

Casey returned my call promptly and came out the same day to troubleshoot my propane boiler that would not come on. He found and resolved the issue quickly. Casey is very knowledgeable and I will definitely call him again for my heating and cooling service and repair.

Our Fujitsu 3 ton heat pump suddenly stopped working right in the middle of a heat wave. I called Casey Bashaw Plumbing & Heating and he was able to come out that day after dinner. He works long hours, and this is his busy season with the summer heat. Nevertheless, he made it out within a few hours and opened the unit to find a giant pile of mouse debris. They had built an apartment complex inside of the cabinet, and so had a nest of wasps. He removed all of the debris, somehow managing to not get stung (while I watched safely from 500 feet away). After looking around and doing some continuity tests, he felt that the mice had chewed some wires, which had caused a main control board failure.

The next day Casey sent his son Camden over to begin repairs. Camden also discovered some blown fuses on the power control board, and had to order those. Fujitsu took a few days to deliver the fuses, and in that time, Camden repaired all the chewed wires.

I was certain at the outset that I’d have to replace the entire condenser unit, at a huge cost, because who repairs things anymore? But Casey was sure he could save the unit, and he (and his son) did just that. When he presented his fee, I was shocked at how reasonable it was. I’m certain he lost money on this job, but I think he felt bad that we had to wait a few days for the fuses to come in (in the sweltering heat) and that was in no way his fault. Camden came right over the moment he had the fuses in hand and replaced them.

Casey is a very interesting and knowledgeable guy, and we had some very good conversations. I’m a mechanical engineer and have a basic understanding of how heat pumps work, but at the product level, they’re incredibly complex machines with many, many things that can go wrong. It takes decades of experience and continuing education to be able to work on these machines, so you need someone who has put the time in. He’s also an all-around very nice guy, and I’ll certainly call him the next time we have a plumbing or HVAC problem.

I met with Casey and one of his apprentices yesterday. I am new to propane heating and I had a ton of questions about this new system. I cannot tell you how professional and thoughtful he was in person, he also walked me through everything from start to finish. The time he took to explain everything, in a way that I actually could understand so I could be the most informed home owner, is priceless.

We are thrilled we were referred to Casey Bashaw after multiple attempts with other service providers. Our system is multifaceted, incorporating multiple heating/cooling sources which serve as replacement of a geothermal system. Although it took longer than expected to finally have service performed with required maintenance and updates, we are happy with the outcome and look forward to having Casey, with his vast knowledge base and expertise, continue to provide answers we need and excellent HVAC service. I was quoted an outrageous price by a competitor and they offered me a far more reasonable price and they installed a new 50 gallon hot water heater and navigated the challenges of a very small space because this is an old farmhouse. I highly recommend this company. They will get it done and for a fair and reasonable price.
