I highly recommend Dan. He did an excellent job removing a bunch of stumps for us. He was thorough, professional, extremely fairly priced and on time. He was great to work with!!

Dan came when expected and gave an appropriate estimate, explaining how he arrived at the estimate. With agreement of cost he worked with me to arrange a mutually convenient time to do the work. After arranging a time for the work to be done, he called to verify the date and time and then arrived when he said he would. Work was quite acceptable.

Dan was on time, professional, and was able to handle some really tough terrain to grind a number of stumps. He left the place clean afterwards and even took care of a few other odd tree jobs around the property. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of working alongside Dan for the day has he removed two very large stumps, one of which was two feet from our patio. His small but very capable machine was able to maneuver around some bushes that I wanted to save and he was still able to get the stumps 6 to 7 inches below grade as I am turning the area into a flower garden.
But even more impressive, was that from my first phone call, he called me back within an hour and was able to set a time to come look and get me a quote. The price was very fair, and he even saved me money as I was able to use my tractor for debris removal . He was right on time every time, and kept me well informed via text where he was at, and when he would be at the site. As a matter of fact, he called me three or four days before our scheduled date and said he could be a day early, so that's what we did. Even before covid-19, when has that happened with a contractor?? Thank you Dan, it was very nice working with and meeting you.

We recently hired Down to Earth Stump Grinding for a .5 acre native meadow installation project, which required grinding over 40 stumps varying greatly in size. Having been an Arborist, Dan was very informative and helpful, offering sound advice and solutions for us, all with a friendly and professional demeanor. The site looks amazing and is ready for seeding. We will definitely be using him for any related work we need done in the future.

Very quick to come give a quote and the price was extremely reasonable. They offered to remove the grindings and bring in top soil but I opted to remove grindings myself so he left them in a very neat pile. Checked in the week before as well as the night before confirming the work and his arrival time. Made sure I was satisfied with the work before accepting payment and packing up his equipment. Highly recommend Down To Earth Stump Grinding as I will for sure use in the future.

In this day and age when contractors and landscape companies tend to be quite elusive at times, Dan was a breath of fresh air. Dan was great and easy to communicate with. He was very flexible with scheduling too. Dan came and took the stump right down to a great spot and gave us some tips about how and where to use wood chips. Also shared what we could do with the spot where the stump was.
