If you need someone to help you with getting Reid of stumps, you differently to call the BEAVER!!!😎 I called 10 different companies and he was the only one that answered the phone and came out the same day and was here the next morning to do the work. Everything about Northern Tree is so professional; it's a pleasure and a relief to do business with them. From placing the call (and getting to speak to an actual person) to chatting while getting an estimate, to the job being carried out--just SO GOOD. And the cleanup is always excellent. I use them any time I need to take a tree down or have limbs pruned.

Northern Tree Service currently has a contract for pruning trees in the City of Boston. They "pruned" more like butchered 3 trees on front of my house on May 29th 2025. The two guys doing it seemed to be inexperienced. They didn't touch any of the branches higher up where the electrical wires were (these should have been pruned) and they removed almost all of the lower brances leaving one tree in particular (a pear tree that I personally planted 20 years ago) looking absoloutely horrible. The branches that they removed were not really sticking out to the point of endangering anybody. All of my neighbors commented on the awful job that they did and how they took way too many branches off. It was my favorite tree that I paid a lot of $ to have planted, took great care of for years and now it looks like hell. Thanks for our great work-inexperienced, careless, clueless, and totally unprofessional. DO NOT hire this company for any pruning work. They are TREE BUTCHERS!!!!!!

I hired them to take down three really large trees. They did a really great job and it was affordable. The crew was really professional and amicable at the same time. I would definitely recommend this company. All these trees were difficult trees, power lines and structures in very close proximity. Thank you Sam, Jim, Angel and Marc. It was a pleasure watching you guys in action!

Northern Tree Service has the equipment and expertise to take care of all tree care needs. When a large limb broke out of one of our old, large Beech trees, Northern Tree arrived within hours to safely and professionally clean up the large amount of debris and prune other damaged branches. Patrick is an extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful arborist who considers tree care from many angles. Under his direction, crews have removed dead or dying trees, performed precision pruning, installed support cables, and performed Airspading work on many trees on the Amherst College campus.

Northern Tree did an outstanding job on my property. From the first visit to the completion of the job, they were professional, hard working and extremely skilled. The work went smoothly and quickly. I am grateful for the care they took on my property and the manner in which they handled themselves. A great team!

I had talked to Coty to get an estimate. I got busy and let it slide but he reached back out and he was available so quickly I had him do another house while he was in the area also! They did a very thorough job at both locations!

I contacted them through their website after hours on July 3rd to clean my gutters. I got a response within an hour. Post Covid that's miraculous. It's 4 days later and the job is finished. They were on time (another miracle), professional and did what they said they would. How often does THAT happen any more. And their price was very fair. I feel like I just stepped out of an alternate universe. If you're tired of people not calling back, not showing up, or blaming unfairly high prices on inflation give these guys guys a shot for your gutter cleaning or pressure washing. I'm glad I did.
