Last week, I got an estimate for both a sewer pipe lining, an A/C duct & ceiling ventilation fan cleaning. The estimate was substantially lower than any of the other estimates I received. In addition, if you have your sewage pipe scoped for the estimate, some places will retroactively charge you hundreds of dollars for the estimate if you don’t move forward with the project. Spencer’s estimates are actually free, regardless if you move forward with them or not.

Today two crews came out and did both projects on the same day. Everyone I met was courteous and professional. Kris did a walkthrough with me before and after the duct & vent cleaning and showed me images of the ductwork pre & post-cleaning. Oscar showed me videos of my sewage pipe before, during, and after the lining & how the new pipe functions now. Both of them asked if I had any questions multiple times and encouraged me to watch them work, if I wanted to.

I would absolutely reach out to Spencer Home Services again for future projects & recommend them for your plumbing & HVAC needs.

Mike replaced our leaking shutoff valves and our dishwasher drain pipe in a very efficient manner. But almost more importantly, he did so in a very personable manner, even taking the time to explain the steps he was doing as he was doing them. I will definitely reach back out for future plumbing needs; highly recommend!

It was a true pleasure to deal with Spencer Home Services for our new Lenox gas fired forced hot air furnace. I took their name off one of their vans in Beverly and contacted them. Ryan, their Technical Representative, provided me a quote the next day.

I met Pete, the owner and Sheila his wife, when I went to their office and provided the down payment. I also met Steve who would be installing the furnace. Ryan and Steve answered all my remaining questions. Before we left, we were gifted a pumpkin as a charming, unexpected seasonal gift.

Steve, Dave and Chuck arrived early in the morning for the installation and completed the job the same day. The installation went exactly as planned. There were no additional charges,, the estimate I had been provided was exact to the penny. The new furnace and thermostat were tested and we were provided training for the thermostat. The furnace has been up and operating for the past two weeks; all is well.

Pete and his Team (Sheila, Ryan, Steve, Dave, Chuck) were a true pleasure to deal with. They answered every telephone call (something that these days is hard to find). They also called after the installation to make sure the furnace was properly operating and to be sure we were completely satisfied. Customer Service is "Job Number 1" at Spencer Home Services. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.

They are friendly, honest, and highly professional.

My technicians name was Richard and he was absolutely the person I wanted after he represented himself Great work fast and efficient and was knowledgeable especially for me I highly recommend him and the company. Molly did a terrific job repairing a leak in my toilet system and replacing pipes. Her work was so competent, professional, and surprisingly quick. After assessing the situation, she explained the options in detail so that I could understand the estimates given. She was a pleasure to have here doing the work, and I will request her for all future plumbing needs! I'd like to add that it is truly great seeing a woman working in this profession! Charles did an excellent job with inspecting our heat pump and replacing the drainage tube for the humidifier. He was professional and performed the job in a very timely manner. Very satisfied with the service.

Oscar, Cesar, and the rest of the crew did an excellent job! Our bathtub and bathroom sink was clogged but the issue went much deeper. The 65 foot pipe under the driveway was a mess and had to be cleaned out and fixed. Then a sewer liner needed to be placed through the pipe. All cast iron pipes in the cellar were replaced with PVC. It seemed like we would need at least a week to get the job done but they did it all in ONE DAY! With their crew who worked hard it went like clockwork.

We had our water heater break suddenly and needed emergency help. Spencer home service was quick to respond, very efficient, and got us up and running within hours. Their pricing was reasonable, their staff, especially Molly, was friendly, professional, and most importantly did a stellar job replacing the water heater. I couldn't give them higher marks! After discovering a leaking pipe I filled out the request for service online, and received a prompt callback. My service technician Molly was lovely to work with. While she was here I listed a few other repairs that I have been meaning to make. She went over all my options with me and was able to complete them the same day. Very pleased with her work!

I had two projects done at my property. One was reline my sewer line and install a line for a basement half bathroom. The other was replacing my hot water storage tank. The worker quality was excellent, the only problem I had was finding the offices to pay off the work

Steve Cunha replaced my water heater in under 2 hours and cleaned up all the water from my leak. In my opinion he went above and beyond what he needed to do. He had a great attitude and was very knowledgeable. If all the people working at Spencer are like him this is the company to beat. Great Job!!

Have to say RIch and Will were awesome. Great timing great clean work, could of just said to me your 20 year boiler is gone but Rich and WIll took the time to inspect every single little thing on my Furnace. Pointed out major things like Furnace looks great has no sludge in it after it was flushed. Like a dog looking for a bone they dug deep into the issues I was having and found out to be a bad control for my Power Vent. Initial installer did it backwards and did not use the safety relays like it should. New control installed same day, as well as a high limit relay, full cleaning and Furnace runs great with no problems with Carbon Monoxide. Overall Outstanding job Rick and Mike!!!!Thanks

Called Spencer Home Services in the am and within a few hours Charles and Steve were at my home. Had a problem with heating system blowing cold and hot air. Problem diagnosed, explanations given, all questions answered. Technicians were polite, friendly, professional and worked as a team. Also Angel, the dispatcher, kept me informed of when they would arrive. I will be using them again if needed.

Had an emergency where I needed a plumber to fix a possible frozen pipe with no water in my mobile home. Ultimate professional! Very personable and explained everything to me as someone who knows nothing about plumbing. She even fixed a connection under my sink. From the person I talked with on the phone, to the person who called back to say someone was on the way to the actual professional who showed up within an hour of my emergency call, I couldn’t say more about the service. Awesome company!

Murphys law it happened, our hot water tank went on a Saturday afternoon. After calling my service company, who said they couldn't make it out till Monday. I found Spencer, called and spoke to a human ( that was pleasant) I was told they are pretty sure they had a tank in their warehouse, they confirmed and said they are finishing up on a job and would be out to my house in a couple of hours. Sure enough I received a text, they were on the way. They pulled the old one out, installed the new one, clean plumbing and gas connections fired it up, filled the tank. By dinner time hot water was running perfectly. Workmanship was clearly done by professional experts.
I will have to revist the service company I have been using for over a decade.

We had fire alarms that needed servicing. We had one start beeping at 2am and Jeff from Spencer came out the next day. He was on-time, knowledgeable, friendly and service was exceptional. He was able to access our alarms that were high on our vaulted ceilings. Jeff diagnosed and fix the issue quickly and assessed what needed to be done in the future to make sure we were up to code. Rich and his team were phenomenal in diagnosing and fixing our clogged septic system issue. He and his team were timely, polite, extremely knowledgeable, and resolved the issue in the same service call. While at my home I also had them clean out some sink and bathroom shower drains as well.
