Construction Company reviews in Reading, Massachusetts

We recently had Bancroft Construction handle a bathroom remodel, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, every step was handled with professionalism and care.

Tom, our project manager, was an absolute standout. He kept us informed throughout the process, was always responsive to questions, and made sure the project stayed on track and on budget. It's clear he takes real pride in his work, and it showed in every detail.

It's also obvious that the culture of quality starts at the top. Paul has built a team that genuinely cares about doing things right, and that commitment comes through in the craftsmanship, communication, and overall experience.

If you're considering a remodel of any kind, we highly recommend giving Bancroft Construction a call. We couldn't be happier with the finished product and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

We hired Bancroft Construction to manage the permitting, pre-construction, demolition and complete build of our new modern home. The team’s expertise during the whole process was invaluable. They were proactive with the local municipality, ensuring all approvals were secured without delay. They were very professional, communicative and easy to work with. Paul Vitozzi, owner of Bancroft Construction, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with us as we navigated the building process. If you are looking for a firm that understands the complexities of site preparation and project lifecycles, we highly recommend them.

Bancroft Construction was a pleasure to work with. They were very professional and did an excellent job. I have a few projects coming up and can’t wait to work with them again!

This was a great company to work with! They were very responsive, provided detailed quotes in a timely fashion, and communicated well. The floors especially came out absolutely beautiful and their overall reno work in our kitchen helped us to sell our house quickly! Now we will need them for the next house!

Paul & Kurt are the best- master craftsmen, talented and polite staff with excellent communication. Very flexible to make adjustments on site, all positive. Well played lads!

Paul and Marco went above and beyond expectations. They spent much time and detail on a simple project. While my cost wasn’t much to them, they made me feel like a top priority customer which is absolutely why I would have them come back to work on future projects. Great quality, affordable and reliable. 10/10

Bancroft Construction arrived the day they said they would, completed my project on time and on budget. Their work was excellent and they cleaned up after they were done.
They were very polite and courteous.
I highly recommend them for any projects.

Paul and his team were great to work with. We removed a wall and replaced it with a structural beam. We also added a custom pantry that came out great. I would recommend Bancroft for all projects!

We needed our wooden gate repaired after a previous business damaged it while trying to fix it. Bancroft Construction’s service and craftsmanship was top notch! Paul was easy to get in touch with, gave us an extremely fair price, and was able to fix it perfectly. I highly recommend Bancroft Construction.

2023 Paul and his painting team were great! The guys were patient in my high-traffic household and worked long hours to get the work done as quickly as possible and the quality is great. Thank you!

2020 Paul, Shannon, Justin, and the rest of the Bancroft Construction team were a pleasure to work with on two different occasions now. The first time, Paul, Justin and the team came out on extremely short notice to replace what ended up being a really cheap part on my boiler - but could have easily made a much bigger project out of it considering that as far as I knew - the entire boiler needed to be replaced. The second time, again, Justin came out on extremely short notice to bleed our radiators and to conduct a general HVAC tune-up. These guys know HVAC and are totally honest and affordable professionals. Definitely will be using again! Thanks.

I am writing this review almost a year later just to tell everyone that I still have no regrets choosing Bancroft Construction for our kitchen and family room remodel! Secretly, Paul had the job when he called me back and showed up on time to go over our project! Their use of technology (Buildertrend app) also allowed Paul, my husband and I to be on the same page- marriage saver!

Bancroft did a complete gut of our first floor powder room, replaced ceiling in our living room and also completed a replacement of all first floor door and window trim with a farmhouse style. The work was done professionally and done with good detail. the end product was exactly what we had envisioned for the look and feel of the spaces renovated. we were very happy with Bancroft's team that did the work and finishing up on the timeline we needed. we will be scheduling our master bathroom renvo with them as well.

Bancroft construction came to our home to fix a problematic toilet in our bathroom that was causing floor damage that could ultimately result in mold and a large Reno project. With the help of Paul and his staff he was able to fix the problem effectively and in a very timely manner. He was professional and reliable and saved us a lot of money if we had not fixed this issue when he found it! We are thankful for his work and will have him back for more household projects and renovations!

My Fiancé and I are so grateful to Paul and the team at Bancroft construction for helping us with our bathroom remodel project! Our previous bathroom had a leak that spread into other parts of the home. Paul was able to repair the damage and give us the master bathroom of our dreams. He and his staff were always prompt , available to answer questions, and polite. His tile work was masterful along with installation of a large glass shower door and fixtures. Paul and his team left such a great impression we decided to re-hire Bancroft Construction for a kitchen remodel to start 2021 which we are excited for the work to begin !!
