Contractor reviews in Salem, Massachusetts

It’s an awesome feeling when you purchase a new property but, your ultimate goal is to have it the way you like it! Ultimately your home will be your sanctuary! I have gone through this process four times now! And the most asked question is, who can I find to do the renovation? You want someone trustworthy, responsible, good and fare when it comes to pricing! I have had my share of bad and good contractors and it’s never easy.
I tell you, Alfredo from AstraBuild provided invaluable guidance during my major home renovation. His deep expertise not only helped me make informed decisions but also saved me a significant amount of money by steering me away from unnecessary expenses. Thanks to his insight, I was able to complete my project on time and within budget. You always tend to tell people that you got lucky with the contractor but, Alfredo was beyond luck. Always transparent, professional and very communicative. Alfredo is a solid contractor not just a random one.

I highly recommend AstraBuild Home Improvements to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, honest, and reliable company for your remodeling needs.

It has been a pleasure having AstraBuild for our home improvement project. Alfredo is informative and creative, going out of his way to answer all our questions and offer creative solutions. He is very professional and easy to talk to; you can tell he cares and enjoys the project and working with people. We are very happy with the quality of work and attention to detail, all with reasonable pricing and clear estimates. From start to finish, this has felt like a team effort. Really looking forward to our next project together.

Alfredo and his team just completed a kitchen renovation for us, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From coordinating multiple vendors for us, to offering invaluable advice and guidance, and doing incredible work, Alfredo went above and beyond at every step of the way. His work is complemented perfectly by his professionalism, integrity, and responsiveness (which can be hard to find these days!). We look forward to working with AstraBuild again in the future.

I had the pleasure of working with Alfredo and his team at AstraBuild USA on a deck project, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and enjoyable. Alfredo and his crew are true experts in their craft. They paid attention to every detail, ensuring that the deck was not only sturdy and functional but also beautifully designed. The quality of their work is top tier, and their commitment to excellence truly stands out. Communication was always clear, and they worked efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising on quality. I highly recommend AstraBuild USA to anyone looking for reliable, top-quality craftsmanship. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the final product!

I hired AstraBuild to install pre-hung french doors in the transition area between a living and dining room. The doors were a little larger than the opening. But Alfredo and his team did a great job working with the space, getting the door installed right, and took care of adding pieces of trim to make the whole area look beautiful. He also installed two pre-hung interior bedroom doors for me, installed new stair railings, and fixed two closet doors that were no longer sliding open/close. He was very punctual and easy to work with. I will definitely hire them again!

We have had the best experience with Alfredo and his team. They are always prompt, professional and do a high quality superior job. They leave the work area clean and communicate through out the whole process. I would highly recommend them!

I recently hired Astrabuild to tile the shower walls and floor of my bathroom, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. Their professionalism was clear from the start—showing up on time, keeping the work area clean, and communicating clearly throughout the project. The craftsmanship is outstanding; every tile is perfectly set, with clean lines and precise cuts that reflect their attention to detail. It’s clear they take pride in their work and truly care about delivering a high-quality finish. I highly recommend Astrabuild and will absolutely use them again for future projects.

I work for an HVAC company and we have contacted Alfredo at Astrabuild and used many of his services to help our customers in their overall project goals. It's great to be able to reach out to a multi-talented person to quickly get pricing on additional scope of work that falls out of our normal areas of expertise.

Alfredo has completed a few jobs for me -- he followed my expressed wishes and completed all projects to my satisfaction. A gentleman of his word as far as scheduling and setting prices go, he ,too, a was an agreeable presence working in my home.

I have used Alfredo’s team for multiple projects so far including repairing a chimney that was falling apart, insulating pipes in the house and winterizing. He is fantastic to work with. Very professional, provides quotes in time and gets the work done in the time frame he promises. His team also leaves the work place very clean. I have no complaints about any of the work that was done and hoping to hire his team again for another project this year.

I recently purchased my first home and had some upgrades I wanted done. One of the tasks was covering up old, unused vents around my home which no longer had a purpose after a new HVAC system was installed. This left holes in the ceilings and walls, so I reached out to Alfredo. When Alfredo finished his work of patching and painting the holes and repairing sheetrock, it looked brand new! Alfredo is proud of his work and is a true artist. Instead of rushing through the job, he made sure the paint matched perfectly, he made the texture blend in, and made sure the walls and ceiling looked good as new. He even came back a few days later to see how the paint dried to made sure everything looked perfect and that I was satisfied with the result. Any future work I have planned, Alfredo will be the first person I reach out to. Highly recommend!

Alfredo was nothing short of a Godsend for us as new homeowners. After watching too many YouTube videos, I thought I could DIY a complete renovation of my Kitchen and Bath. When I realized I couldn’t, Alfredo was there to build me out. He and his crew did some beautiful work for us at such a fantastic price. Alfredo is a man with incredible integrity and I can’t thank him enough for all that he did for my wife. We’re so excited we found him and can’t wait to continue to work with him again on some upcoming projects.
