Western Mass Heating & Cooling installed mini-splits in my condo. Working with them was seamless from beginning to end. Andy and Carol provided estimates and a timeline for installation and quickly followed up with any questions I had. Installers Jeff, Nick, and Isaiah arrived promptly on the installation date and were a joy to work with. They even stayed late to complete the installation in one day and protected a nest of newborn robins near the gutter where they were working. Working with Western Mass was a breeze after getting estimates from one company that outright lied to me about a number of things and another company that never sent me an estimate. I would not hesitate to work with Western Mass again.

My wife and I recently had a Mitsubishi Heat Pump System installed by Western Mass HVAC Contractors. We highly recommend this company for its efficiency and technical knowhow, combined most importantly with a refreshingly traditional attitude towards customer service! The work was performed on time and on price, the installation team were polite and considerate and Carol Moran and Lauren Harris (our office and project management contacts) were extremely knowledgable and helpful. We had a great experience with WMHAC installing our two mini-splits on Tuesday, June 18. It was to become the one of the hottest day of the extended heat wave. The installation team (Jeff, Nick, Mike, Jack) arrived promptly at 7:00 am and the mini-splits were pumping cold air by noontime !! Their team work was exceptional and something to be admired.

My experience with Western Mass Heating and Cooling has been great and I highly recommend them! Proposal and project coordination by Andy Black and Carol Moran was thorough and went smoothly. Our installation in June went without a hitch; the team arrived promptly, worked well together, and took care to explain the system to me. Carol processed our mfg warranty and the MassSave application for our 'whole home' rebate...they were professional throughout!

We had Western Mass Heating, Cooling and Plumbing install a mini-split and upgrade our 35+ year old oil furnace with a new oil furnace and air source heat pump system. The mini-split was needed to provide heating and cooling to a portion of the home that the existing duct work did not extend to; and the heat pump was needed to provide us with cooling and heating ability to the rest of the house using the existing duct work.
The installation crew was nothing short of excellent. They all arrived on time, were extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jeff the metal fabricator was super. Jordan and Mike worked quickly to remove the old furnace and install the new furnace. And Nick installed the heat pump and organized the install crew. Nick was very helpful explaining what was going on and then answered any of my questions before he left after completing the install. Nick explained another technician would then come to start up the new system.
The electrical work was also coordinated seamlessly by Western Mass Heating.
Mike arrived on time and proceeded to start up the new system. Mike was extremely polite and personable as he explained the new thermostat and programmed it for our needs. He explained how the heat pump would integrate with the oil furnace to provided cooling and heating throughout the year.
We are very glad we chose Western Mass Heating and Cooling to do the work.

An amazing experience. We needed a boiler and water heater replacement ASAP and these guys delivered. Scheduling was quicker than we expected and the work was done quickly, on time and the area was left spotless. And with no issues. We're so pleased and can't thank these guys enough!

The folks at Western Mass Heating and Cooling installed a new heating and hot water system for us when we purchased our new (old) home. From the quote to the install, they were reliable, professional, and fair. However, the main reason I would recommend their services is for their follow-up. We had issues with a factory hot water tank failing (multiple times) and even though it was neither convenient nor profitable for the company, they did not give up until we had a long-term solution. Their commitment to the quality of their products and services stands out in how they manage tricky situations like ours. And, a big shout out to their administrative staff, especially Heather - whose kindness and perseverance were remarkable!

I’ve now finished two projects with WMHAC and both projects (whole house heat pump heating) have been completed without any problems. Their team was a pleasure to work with and all coordinating was seamless. Not only was the price competitive but Lauren Harris ( project manager) was able to not only downsize the original design and save us a couple thousand dollars but he found and passed on an additional $2,000 in previously unknown rebates! A total win. I will continue to work with them and won’t hesitate to always recommend them to other contractors and homeowners.

Western Mass Heating, Cooling and Plumbing replaced the AC system at our home. The crew, Jeff, Mike, Nick and Jakob, did a fantastic job. They were on site on schedule and work straight through until the job was done. I did not believe they could get it done in one day; but they were finished before the work day was over, everything cleaned up and packed away. The system works well and we're happy in our nice cool house. I am completely satisfied with new system and the employees of WMHCP.

The technician, Jessie , was very timely and conducted a very thorough inspection of our heating and cooling systems. She was very professional and offered excellent advice in maintaining our equipment. This is the first time we have interacted with Western Mass Heating and Cooling and we were very impressed.

We could not have been happier that Jessie came to work on our Mitsubishi units!! We had two different issues and she solved all our problems quickly, efficiently, and was very pleasant and polite!! Our systems were 11 years old! She answered all our questions succinctly and clearly so that we know an easy path to follow to avoid such difficulties!! Hats off to Western Mass Heating to have the foresight to have such a valuable employee on staff! This is my first time using WMHCP. It has been a very pleasant experience. We had two mini splits installed in our home. Lauren was excellent and did the assessment and recommended the two units. Chase and Jack showed up promptly at 7am, as scheduled, and were professional, polite and kind. Great crew! Jack came to check on the progress mid morning and made sure everything was going smoothly. This is my experience:

Had a service call August 2024 as a "new customer". Nothing wrong with either AC or Heat, just needed inspection/tuneup. $600.00 thank you very much
Tech was on site about 1.5 hours, tops!

So now, I'm established as a customer right? My furnace has really been struggling to ignite over past month or so. So I call for a service call.
Scheduled pretty quickly, within days.
Tech gets here, about .5 hours at furnace - if that - and tells me I need a new gas valve. Ok, next day WMHCP calls me and says part not covered with warranty, about $280.00 for part plus maybe 2hours labor...
I check on-line, part ranges from 85.00 to 125.00...
come'on man...!

Plus, I get a bill for the service call related to diagnosing the problem...
...invoice says Tech was here for 1.5 hours (I was here! - .5 hours tops!)
So that's $180.00...
And then, WMHCP adds on a "administration" fee & "scheduling" fee - $100.00, thank you very much!
That's a $280.00 bill right there!

So, needless to say. My wife and I canceled any continuing service from WMHCP.

We worked with Western Mass Heating and Cooling to install mini splits last year. Beginning to end they were great. They helped us figure out the best placement for our layout, gave us a few options based on our needs, and helped navigate the mass save rebate.
The installation was smooth and the team was delightful and helpful.
We have loved using it for the past year and have been recommending to everyone we know. We had our first maintenance visit today with Junior who was on time, very personable, and answered our questions as he went through the maintenance routine.

The team that came: Jessie, Greg and Kevar, were very professional, efficient, and most of all, knowledgeable about our 10 year old systems. We were very pleased with our service today, and highly recommend this company, and these individuals that were wonderful to work with.

Very professional outfit. Great communication. The lead installer Mike frequently checked in with me asking what questions I had. When I noticed an non-obvious oversight they corrected it on the spot without hesitation. It's not heating season yet so if I have any issues once I actually need to use my new propane furnace I will revise. But the installation process was well done. Shout outs to the guys that did the hard work. Jeff, Nick, Mike G, Brandon, & Brady. A good crew indeed.
