Matt did all of the electrical work for our house Reno/addition project. He upgraded our panel and installed new wiring for our new addition including lighting, ceiling fan, kitchen appliances, under cabinet lighting and outdoor lighting. We couldn’t be happier!

I hired this electrician expecting, you know, wires and switches… and instead I got what can only be described as a full-service life upgrade.

It started normally enough. He showed up exactly on time, which already felt suspiciously impressive. But then, within minutes of stepping into my house, he somehow diagnosed a flickering light, fixed an outlet that’s been “haunted” since 2017, and gently pointed out that my smoke detector had been chirping in a way that suggested it had emotionally given up.

At one point, during what I assumed was a standard panel inspection, the power went out across the entire street. Before I could even process what was happening, he calmly walked outside, glanced at the transformer like it had personally offended him, and ten minutes later… everything was back on. I’m not saying he fixed the neighborhood grid, but I also didn’t see anyone else out there.

Beyond what may or may not have been minor miracles, his professionalism was unmatched. Impeccable manners, explained everything in a way that didn’t make me feel like I needed an engineering degree, and somehow left the space cleaner than when he arrived. I’m fairly certain he aligned a crooked picture frame on his way out, which feels above and beyond for electrical work.

If you’re looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable, and possibly capable of restoring order to both your home and the broader electrical universe, this is your person. I almost want something else to break just so I have a reason to call him again.

Matt did a great job wiring our renovation and installing our recessed lighting. He was very knowledgeable and helpful explaining our options and suggesting the best things to do. He left everything neat and clean when he left. Very professional! I would hire him again in a minute!

We had a great experience working with Dever Electric. Matt helped us install a 220-volt panel and handled all of the wiring for a hot tub we added to our patio and the entire process went incredibly smoothly.

The project required running electrical cable from our main panel across a finished basement, which could have been disruptive but Matt handled it with real care and precision. He brought in a subcontractor to cut into the ceiling for the cable run, and the work was so well done that I genuinely have a hard time even finding where the cut was made.

We asked Stu to help us with electrical work to add a generator. He was very courteous and polite. A professional whom is extremely helpful and answers any and all questions. He was patient when I asked him to go over and explain (multiple times) how exactly to hook up the generator. We would highly recommend Stu for any electrical needs.

I needed an electrician to wire an outside floodlight to an existing wall switch that had previously been connected to another device which was removed many years ago. I have wanted this done for years but never knew who to call. Stuart Paul Electric Service was recommended to me by my daughter who has been involved with them professionally prior with electric work for the business where she works. When I called and described the work the electrician told me he had another obligation which would be quick and then since he was in my area he could come by later today. I never thought I could get anyone to come by so quickly to look at this work. When he arrived he was very professional and reviewed with me what I asked for. He said he could do it while he was there. I agreed and he got my floodlight working and connected to the switch as I wanted. He also did the work to code as I requested. He also tested the light and switch to be sure it functioned properly. I would recommend Stuart Paul Electric Services to anyone needing an electrician’s services. It was a very good experience with this company/electrician.

Our youngest son has extensive medical needs that require a ventilator; along with other medical equipment that need electricity.
We faced a problem on an early Saturday morning and Stu responded promptly to our home and was sensitive to our situation.

After getting the run-around for over a month by another electrician to come and install a transfer switch for our generator (I'll be there/I can't come/I'll be there/no part, etc.), we reached out to Stu on a Friday and he was here at the promised time the following Tuesday. Stu was responsive, professional, and made quick work of upgrading my panel to switch over to a generator with loss of power. In the past when communicating with other tradesman I send the text or place the call and hope they respond back, often to no avail. Stu was extremely responsive and kept me up to date with when he would arrive on site. I plan to delete the other Electricians from my contact list.

Stuart Paul replaced wiring to enable my new dryer. He was prompt, extremely polite, and capable. After a power wash to the house, a door bell on the house was shorting out. The inside door bell fixture was becoming very hot, etc. Stuart came out for an emergency call. He was very punctual; very professional & very smart at diagnosing the problem, and recommending and providing a solution to the problem. Stuart is also very personable, and nice to work with.
