Tim and his crew were available on a Sunday for a tree against our house. Not an emergency, but close. They had the tree gone and the uprooted hole filled in 2-3 hours. We've used them in the past, used them today, and would definitely use them again.

We had a large row of ugly/overgrown pine trees between our house and the neighbor's house. That neighbor had Edge do a big tree for her the previous year and they did a great job so we included Edge in the list of folks to get estimates from. We initially were going to trim/top the row of trees but when we got estimates Edge (Peter) gave us such a good price on taking them completely out, stumps and all that we went ahead and took them out completely (we knew that was the right thing to do, just did not think we could afford it).

Edge took about 17 medium to large pines out in the dead of winter and left virtually no lawn damage. They then came back and ground all the stumps and brought in loam and planted grass seed all for the promised price which was just a few hundred more than what other folks priced to top/trim them.

I was very happy I had called them. Peter always returns your calls and he does the work promised for exactly the price promised. They also have some of the best equipment (including special protective mats to place on your lawn to prevent damage from driving machinery on it) that many others may not have. Definitely worth a call.

Peter Edge took down a very old, very tall, mostly dead spruce that stood between the house and power lines. Not a hair of either was disturbed! I couldn't believe how quickly he was able to take off the limbs and lower the trunk, piece by piece. I highly recommend him and will call him again myself.

Peter went above and beyond to help me when a dead limb from the apt complex behind my house fell through my wooden fence during a recent storm. He is extremely professional, friendly and knowledgable. This is the second time I’ve used this company, and as a landlord in South Hadley, I highly recommend them! The quote was the same as another local company to remove a dead tree in my yard, but I went with Edge because I had such a positive experience the first time. Peter even helped speak with the owner of the apt complex, who paid to remove the dead limb and the dead tree it fell from quickly. I’m very impressed and grateful!

Not reliable. Had a tree that needed to come down last winter, he came out and gave a quote which we accepted. He then told us he would be in touch about when they can take the tree down and we didn't hear from him all winter long. Not too surprised since it was so damn cold this past winter but then a part of the tree fell and took out a portion of our fence. Called him back to handle the downed limb and finally take out the tree. He came out again, made all sorts of promises and then never showed up. Asked for an update, got a 2 word response "To wet". After that he just ignored my emails. We give up, and will find someone else. I find this sort of thing very unprofessional.

One week later, still awaiting prelim info.👎.

I left them a message a week ago and they haven't returned my call.

Good man but his service is down right awful. After estimate it took over a year and still got the same answer. "I'm a month out." Well after hearing that multiple times I decided to go with someone else who by the way said he could do the job in ten days time. And guess what, he showed up and did the job. I tried my best to wait for Pete because he had done business with my father for years but the constant delays were to much to take. In taking with other people they said they have had a similar experience with Edge tree service. So this is why I gave a one star rating.
