Reviews of local pros in Springfield, Massachusetts

By far the best painting company around town. The quality of their work is excellent. Darlin is a skilled craftsman and his crew is trustworthy and reliable. The carpentry work he did for me was fabulous. The framing he did was perfect and he was able to add extra space to my kitchen. did a fantastic job removing the stain from wooden ceiling beams and painting them. He did an amazing job prepping and painting wood paneling and removing wall paper. All of his work is done with care and he meets every single deadline. I’ve used lots of local painters over the years and none compare. I only wish I had discovered Alvarados Painting earlier.

Alvarados Painting did an excellent job on our porches doing both needed carpentry and painting. They are very professional, clean, are responsive to the customers needs. I would highly recommend this company.

We are absolutely thrilled with the work Darlin and his crew did on our upstairs bedrooms. Our house is over 200 years old, and the door frames were a difficult challenge—caked in thick, uneven, and chipping paint. Through a combination of meticulous hard work and patience, Darlin's team transformed them into a smooth, beautiful finish.

The crew was a pleasure to have in our home. They were professional and respectful, consistently arriving at 8 a.m. and working productively all day. Darlin also went above and beyond by spotting a rotted window that we were unaware of and skillfully helping us with its reconstruction.

For their exceptional skill, reliability, and fair pricing, I would highly recommend Darlin and his crew to anyone looking for a top-notch painter.

Alvarados painting did a wonderful over-the-top job on our old shingled house.

The prep was so thorough. They scraped the old paint, sanded the shingles, inspected and replaced missing shingles, rotted window frames , patched the chips and cracks on the exposed foundation . They made wise recommendations . They smiled with patience as we changed our mind on some colors .
We could not be any happier with the final outcome. Our old house looks so fresh and new !
I highly recommend Darlin and his team at Alvarados Painting Inc!

I had 5 different companies come out and give me quotes to paint my entire house and make some repairs to rotted wood etc. Darlin walked me around my house and I immediately noticed he had a great eye for the small details which others missed. His quote was also half the price of one of the quotes I received! Darlin and his team did an incredible job. I couldn’t be happier with the entire process. He was great at communicating and very neat. I highly recommend Alvarados Painting.

I would highly recommend Legacy Prowash. I used this company to treat moss and clean my roof. Not only did they get there in a timely manner, he also took his time and did a thorough job. He also came back twice to ensure the roof treatment was effective. I would definitely use this service again and wholeheartedly recommend this company, you will not be disappointed.

LPW was very responsive. Less than 24 hours we talked, the job was done as scheduled. He did an excellent job, we had a whole walk around the house before and after. I will definitely hire him in the future and recommend him to others. 👍🏾 Alfred Q.

Best customer service I've seen by far. Walked me through the whole process and was very knowledgeable in every aspect of the job. Left my roof spotless and siding sparkling. I will be a repeat customer for years to come and have told my neighbors about Eddie at Legacy Pro Wash.
