Appliance Repair reviews in Stoneham, Massachusetts

I had a very positive experience with Boston Cambridge Appliance. Jay, the service technician, was nice and respectful, never spoke down to me and really explained the ins and outs of refrigerators. You can tell that he is passionate and educated in the space. I did need them to come back once or twice to check on things, but they were always prompt in sending someone out the next day. Will definitely call then for other appliance needs in the future!

Geralson came out on time, professional, repaired our 4 year old washing machine in 30 minutes. He was very polite and hard working. We really appreciated how efficient he was and also how easy the online booking system is. We got our repair service booked same day and it was about $50 less than a plumber or handyman. So glad we found this service for Boston area!

I scheduled an appointment for a coin-operated Whirlpool washer three days in advance, within a time window of 11 am to 1 pm. However, the repairman Justin did not show up. I called the office several times but received no clue about the situation.
My tenant informed me that he eventually arrived late in the afternoon. The repairman did not provide updates until the second day.
He estimated that the agitator was loose and needed replacement, with labor costs at $90 per hour totaling $170, plus $170 for a new agitator after already charging $99 for the estimate. Additionally, he informed my tenants that some parts were dirty and suggested bringing the washer to their shop for steam cleaning, which made the tenants nervous about continuing to use the washer. Consequently, I decided to replace the washer with a new one.
After all the headaches, I watched youtube about this situation and fixed the broken washer myself by replacing four small agitator dogs (like teeth), which cost only $6 and took 20 minutes.
I would never use their services again. -

I recently had the pleasure of working with Boston and Cambridge Appliance Repair, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Technician James was assigned to fix my appliance, and he did an outstanding job.
From the moment James arrived, he was professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained the repair process in a way that was easy to understand, and got to work right away. His attention to detail and expertise were evident, and he completed the repair efficiently, leaving everything clean and tidy.
What impressed me the most was James's commitment to ensuring the job was done right. He went above and beyond to make sure my appliance was working perfectly before he left, and even provided some helpful tips on maintenance to avoid future issues. -
Called in to replace multiple garbage disposals in my Brighton apartment building. Very fast and great pricing. Highly recommended. Will be calling back for future appliance projects.

Scheduling an appointment was easy. The company was booking a week out when I called. I was given a window of 10am-12pm and the technician came @1pm-calling in advance to let me know he was on his way. That was good.
The technician, John, was friendly and competent. He quickly diagnosed the issue -the pulley wheel was not turning causing the drum not to spin. He also ran the machine once he made the repair to ensure that it was working properly. The service call took approximately 30 min.
I’m deducting stars because the cost seemed high to me. I was charged $70.10 for a pulley wheel that costs less than $10 online. Labor cost was $120 and the service call was $129.95, totaling $324.43 with tax.
