Provost Construction confidently took on our daunting driveway drainage issue with great attention to detail, impressive skill, and spectacular customer service. We discovered that our newly purchased house was on a high water table that produced dangerous ice conditions in the winter on our driveway. Ice on our driveway melted slowly and the lack of drainage caused most of the driveway to be a hazard to us, visiting family, and delivery persons. Provost Construction installed an impressive system of collection tanks which have been working spectacularly. The project took several weeks, but it somehow was barely disruptive for our busy family. Their team was excellent at communicating with us and even helped us communicate with an anxious neighbor. Provost Construction was very neat, detailed, and professional, and went the extra mile at every opportunity. I highly recommend Provost Construction for your project.

We had a bathroom remodel project and researched some area contractors. Provost had good reviews and when we reached out they were courteous, timely, and safe especially when it came to COVID-19 measures.

We are very pleased with the new bathroom and the Provost team worked hard to ensure that it was completed on time. They were knowledgeable and considerate throughout the project.
The estimate was fair and there were not any surprises. Provost kept good records of the costs and even refunded us money once the project was complete.

We’ve worked with other contractors in the past and Provost was the best experience from start to finish. I will work with Provost again would absolutely recommend them for home projects

We hired Provost Companies to redo two full baths. Greatest decision we could have made. They completely transformed both spaces. Not only was their execution flawless, but they were very easy to work with. Dan did our bathrooms and became a part of our family. We were sincerely sad for the job to be over since we now cannot see him everyday. Overall a great experience. Will be hiring them back for more work in the future. Highly recommend.

Bathroom Renovation
We had such a great experience with Provost!! We turned our outdated half bath into a updated sheek full bath. We worked closely with the crew in our home and were quick to be informed or responded by the owner himself. Dana and Dan did wonderful work and where there for any and all questions and support through the process. They were thorough but also quick which we appreciated having a toddler running around. I would suggest this company to anyone looking to upgrade their home big or small - you get the best customer service and product around!!

Provost is ultra professional and detail oriented. They completed an outdoor living space for us and we had a great experience! The whole team worked very hard to get all the detail just right.

William and his team completed two big projects at our home. They worked with us from the design through renovation completion of a complete basement reno and main floor kitchen reno. William was responsive, creative, helped us stay within our budget (even when unexpected issues happened), and very detailed oriented. We lived working with each one of his guys (shout out to Dana, Dan, Doug, and Sean)! Thank you for making our house just what we envisioned!

Bill & his team were professional, responsible and handled our kitchen and bathroom remodel flawlessly. They were easy to work with and communicated with us the entire months long renovation. We always felt like we were a priority. We primarily worked with Rich, who showed up every day and responded to my questions and messages quickly. My 3 year old still asks for him to come fix things that break around our house! You won’t go wrong using Provost for your next project.

Provost Companies did a fantastic job replacing a crumbling retaining wall on our property. They were professional from the moment we met them, presenting various options and working with us to keep to budget. The result is a beautiful wall that presents an attractive welcome to our property while doing the job that it’s meant to do. This photo was taken 4 years after the work was done – and the wall looks good as new! I thoroughly recommend Bill and his team. In fact, we just hired them to rework our front steps and know that we’ll be as happy with the results of this new project.

We had water damage in our kitchen and the entire kitchen needed to be rebuilt, so I was looking around for contractors. Provost Companies had good reviews, so I gave them a call. William was very responsive and made the proposal process easy. They removed everything from the kitchen, replaced the floor all the way down to the joists, and rebuilt the kitchen. The project was managed by Dan, who clearly understood the entire project and I was confident that he could accurately communicate the details to the subcontractors (who were also professional and did good work). The finish details were great, and Dan took the time to fix some issues that were the fault of our cabinet company. The crown molding didn't come ready to mount on the top of the frameless cabinets, so Dan came up with a custom method, which was more labor intensive for him, but he wanted to do it the right way.

Bottom line, if I have another project and I need a contractor, I won't need to shop around - I'll just call Provost.

Working with Bill Provost for my home renovation project was a great experience . We had our kitchen completely renovated as well as a bathroom and added a small first floor addition . From beginning to end Provost was professional, courteous, helpful and respectful. Bill has surrounded himself with very talented craftsmen who are excellent at their trade. Everyone works together and they all kept our needs at the forefront of the project. We just love our new home !

Provost? Not a pro at all, apparently you’re the snow removal vendor at Pembroke Woods in Pembroke MA. You did an absolutely terrible job, left extremely unsafe conditions, and did not plow any handicap spots. You left snow in the road making it impassable for over an hour and piling snow in the road that’s still there right now. I am so utterly disappointed in this place. Stay away from their so called “snow removal” because all they did is move it around and make a mess.

We had PCI put on an addition to our home that included a primary bedroom with an ensuite and a walk in closet. They also resided the entire home and replaced the entire roof. We were extremely satisfied with the communication from Bill and Dana. The weekly meetings and updates were very helpful. We were always aware of who would be on our property and when they would be there. Every single one of the contractors and subcontractors that work for PCI are extremely professional and excellent craftsmen. With that said, there was a portion of the project that we were less than happy with, performed by a subcontractor, and Bill sent his guys over to redo it correctly. This area has become a sanctuary for us to relax. We will be hiring PCI for our next project without question.

Highly recommend Provost Companies. They completely transformed our unusable backyard into a magazine worthy space that we could not have envisioned on our own (a beautiful bluestone patio with stone sitting wall, gas firepit, and deck with built in stone kitchen). They are extremely responsive, pay great attention to the details, are transparent about budget and costs, and the quality of their work is amazing. They literally do everything you could need for your home or landscape projects, which makes things so much easier to not have to manage multiple companies for different tasks. We hired them for landscape maintenance after our project was finished, and are already thinking about future projects!

We knew we were reaching out to a professionally managed company based on reputation. Provost Companies proved this from the first phone call. Our job wasn’t the biggest in the PCI portfolio, but it was the biggest hired-out home improvement for us. Each step from start to finish, we interacted with professionals who were engaged in our project and delivered on all aspects.

Dana, the project manager was in touch with us regularly. We absolutely loved having Victor and Ryan at the house…so professional, courteous and interested in their craft. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the job site and even a visiting friend and OSHA inspector from another state commented on the safety and cleanliness.

Provost Companies replaced 8 windows (including one new bump-out), replaced siding (in a contrasting color) and had a new roof installed. Being able to coordinate with one project manager for the entire job made it easier for us to go about our regular day-to-day activities with no scheduling hassles or delays.

We love our home and have received so many compliments from our friends, family and neighbors. Even the dog walkers have stopped to chat and admire the transformation of our cape-style home.

My wife and I recently purchased a fixer upper in Weston with 37 tree stumps on a steep hill. Bill was nice enough to come to the house and instantly saw our vision with the property. I cannot tell you how many contractors we spoke with degraded our house and only left to make us feeling worse about our purchase. Bill saw the vision and wanted to be part of the story and bringing our old home back to life. We hired PCI to remove stumps in our steep hillside yard and they did a fantastic job over 3 days. Great communication, polite workers who are on time and left everything better than they found it. As we chip away with our landscaping, PCI has our business going forward with our property and years to come.

We had a backyard/patio renovation done this summer. The attention to detail and the quality of the work were outstanding. The crew, led by Matt Wilson, was professional, polite, hard working and they are very nice guys! Communication with the team was great. They were here every day and completed the job on time, as planned. We are so happy with our new patio!

We had a previously sloped, unusable yard with a deck in need of repairs. Bill and his team transformed the yard into a playground paradise for our kids, while still implementing features that allow adults to kick back and relax. Bill and his team installed a multi-tiered level yard, patio, hillside slide, obstacle course on the bottom part of the yard, and constructed a new deck. They landscaped and sourced all the plantings and beds.

*Thorough - Provost Companies was one of 4 companies from which we received a bid. We worked with a separate landscape architect who has over 20 years of experience and the architect commented it was the most thorough, detailed bid he had ever seen. Bill listened to our goals during the first meeting and built a scope that met our needs. He followed up after the estimate to see if we had questions.

*Professional - Provost Companies has a culture that is clearly led by Bill, who founded the company. Everyone who came to work here was polite, respectful, knowledgeable about the project, and friendly. The crew cares about the work. Crew would follow up on work they had completely previously to make sure we were pleased.

*Communicative - Bill set up weekly 1:1 calls with us to check in on the project. As necessary, these were in person. This allowed us to discuss project activities or adjustments proactively. We always felt 'in the know.'

*Honest - This came up particularly when it came to construction of a new deck. The prior deck could have remained, but Bill provided us a 'pro' 'con' list objectively to guide our decision. We ultimately chose to have Bill's team build a new deck. We are thrilled with this decision. The deck construction was completed incredibly well and Bill scoped the deck materials to ensure we could later 'screen it in' if we so choose.

*Trustworthy - We knew the project was being completed with fidelity and a high sense of craftsmanship. Bill is always available if you have questions.

I decided to build a large new pond in my back yard. I was under a tight deadline after unexpected delays on my part. Provost companies came in blind to what I thought was a impossible situation. They were clean ,friendly, polite and stayed late to make sure my project was completed. There amazing group of guys with a incredible work ethic. Next time I’ll call them first.

We can not say enough good things about the work William and his team (in our case project manager Dan). They were professional, organized, always on time, and did meticulous work on 2 bathrooms that were remodeled. They were extremely communicative, and upfront about all the work on the job and throughout the entire project. The oversight Dan provided of all PCI subcontractors gave us peace of mind on the work being done, and they too were professional and did great work.
