Smart climate was able to come out and install a complete new heat pump system with just a little over a week of lead time. Their pricing is affordable, especially since they work with the MassSave program including the $10k whole home heat pump rebate that is currently offered in addition to the HeatLoan program.

They were very polite and pleasant to work with and they worked quickly to ensure we had a heating solution for our house. I get the impression that they cared a lot about their craft and their work speaks for itself: the system installation and duct work turned out beautifully, the vents look clean and required no patchwork, and the airflow throughout the house is consistent and pleasant.

We also had them install a bathroom vent and they were done in a single day and it works perfectly.

Overall I would recommend Smart Climate to anyone who is trying to get a heat pump or any HVAC work done, especially through MassSave since they do really seem to understand that whole process well.

Got the furnaces inspected and cleaned, an AC capacitor replaced and a new thermostat installed. Alex is always very professional.

Alex and his team installed a heat pump system with 4 heads for me through the Mass Save program. I was really impressed with him and his team--they were timely, flexible, and took the time to walk me through my whole system. I thought their pricing was quite fair, especially for my 3rd floor unit. Smart Climate was also able to upgrade my electrical panel with one of their electricians. Alex came to our home to repair the furnace and recommended a new one because ours was old and had broken. We also wanted a better air conditioner.Alex gave us a reasonable quote on a Carrier Furnace & Air Conditioner. Alex and his two-man team replaced our furnace and air conditioner units.They were prompt - coming to our home on the agreed day and time and took two days (as planned) to complete the job. They communicated everything that they were going to do prior to the job. They completed the job on time and cleaned up any debris left from the job. The furnace is working great (and I am sure the air conditioner will too, but it is currently too cold outside to find out!). The job cost exactly what the quote was, no hidden fees. Alex set realistic goals for our heating and air conditioning system. He said what he was going to do and delivered on it. Of all the individual companies that we contacted, his advice was the best, the costs were on par with other companies, and we are very happy with the results.

We had a great experience with Smart Climate! Both our water heater and furnace broke within 24 hours of each other in the dead of winter so we needed a team that could replace both, and hopefully do so before the house became unlivable. We talked to 3 different vendors and are very happy we went with Smart Climate. The team was extremely responsive, professional, and easy to work with. They talked us through our options for replacement and the modifications that would be needed (the previous system had some missing ducts) and gave us a great price. They spent one day replacing the water heater and two days replacing the furnace and modifying the duct work. We work from home and they were very communicative on when they were shutting off the water or any breakers so that we didn’t have issues. Every day they worked they left our home exceptionally clean. Both systems work perfectly and they coordinated all needed inspections which all passed. We highly recommend Smart Climate and will definitely use them in the future!

Our entire experience with Smart Climate HVAC was really exceptional! We were very happy with our installation of a new AC condensor and air handler in the attic. I had 4 HVAC companies come to my house. I felt Alex provided us with the most comprehensive assessment of our needs. He was responsive to all of my numerous questions by both text and phone calls. All of the installation technicians were experienced, polite, neat and truly a pleasure to have as workers in the house. I highly recommend this company without reservation for all your HVAC needs. It is a smaller company which I very much prefer as you can meet and talk with someone who will participate in the actual installation process. In my experience, the larger companies usually have salesman who do the estimate and usually have very little if anything to do with the actual work when it is being performed.

Alex and his team were professional, timely, and treated my home with respect. We had both a central system for the first floor and mini-splits for the bedrooms on the second floor. I recently bought my first home and knew I wanted central AC installed before the summer but didn't know the specific system I wanted. I got estimates from a few different companies, but Alex was always super responsive and provided quotes for multiple systems so I could choose my best fit. I ended up going with a full electric system/heat pump to take advantage of the Mass Save rebate. Alex and his guys completed the work in 2 days, answered every question I had, and left everything really clean once the job was done. They also removed my oil tank at a reasonable cost, walked me through all my Mass Save questions, and repaired some pre existing damage to one of my ducts. I'd definitely recommend Alex's company to anyone in the area looking to upgrade their HVAC system.

My old furnace wasn't pushing hot air. The fan was not spinning at all. So I gave Alex a call and described the problems. Alex is a true professional at his field. Alex found the problem easily and fixed it right away. The old furnace is running strong since then. Highly recommended!

Update:
My other furnace was old enough to retire. So I again hired Smart Climate to replace both my old furnace and AC.

When it came for choosing the right HVAC system, Alex was very patient to discuss about the system I wanted. He was willing to provide the cost on different brands and types of systems. And he would give professional recommendations on the sizes of the systems. In addition, he was willing to deal with any concerns I had. For example, my old furnace had the gas ball valve inside of it. I told Alex that I would want it to be outside of the furnace. And he kept that in mind and made the adjustment when installing the new furnace.

On the day Alex came for the installation, he would kept me informed of his arrival time. And he was always on time. After he was done for the day, I found no mess anywhere he had worked at in the house!

After installation, he would tell me what regular maintenance is needed to keep my system running. For example, changing the filter 2 to 3 months!

The quality of work is just amazing. To be honest, by looking at the pictures he had posted online, I can already tell that he is confident at the quality of his work. It also shows that he is passionate on what he is doing!

From my personal experience, I have no regret hiring Smart Climate and it is worth every penny spent!

We just bought our first house in Canton and it came with an old oil heating system and window A/C units. Smart Climate converted us to a modern heat pump system with two zones, and we couldn’t be happier. The system kept us comfortable through the freezing temperatures in February and early April, and it worked flawlessly all summer too. We also just received our whole-home rebate from Mass Save, which made the upgrade even more affordable. Now we’re bringing Smart Climate back to replace our water heater with a new heat pump hybrid 60 gallon tank. Alex and his team are professional, knowledgeable, reliable and super responsive!!! we highly recommend them!

Alex and his team are incredible. We bought a house that was built in 1918 and have had to revamp all of the systems over the last 6 months. We have worked with a gamit of contractors in the last few months and Alex and his team were stand out.

Their pricing is fair. They are super thoughtful and clean. They wore booties through our house, which no contractors have bothered to do. Most importantly, I trust Alex and his team to go above and beyond in delivering the high quality and thoughtful solutions. Given our older home, running duct is not easy, but Alex and his team went above and beyond and added the appropriate vents for the size of our room. For example, we fully expected Alex to only one vent per room, but for our primary bedroom, he ran two ducts even though it meant having to run ducting under the entire length of our attic, through the joists.

They were so good that we immediately hired Alex to install a hot water system for us a few weeks later.

We are so lucky to have worked with Alex and have recommended him to our friends. We are happy to be a reference for him if he ever needs it.

Alex and his team installed a heat pump integrated with my gas furnace as backup. They were super nice, respectful of the property, always on time and delivered an excellent job. I've being doing one renovation after another in the past year, and this was the cleanist team that has worked at my place. I'll be contacting them for all future HVAC jobs.

Alex converted my oil heat system to a heat pump with gas furnace backup. House already had duct work, but did not have a gas line. Alex and his team installed the heat pump, cooling lines, gas lines, gas vents, and furnace. He was great to work with and after one year with the system I am very satisfied. Price was right in-line with other quotes I had received as well.
