I oversee a few commercial manufacturing facilities and have used Capitol Heating and Cooling numerous times. They have installed split units, dehumidifiers and humidifiers for our facilities. Load calculations have always been accurate. They also troubleshoot many issues I face in the industrial world.

Derek came out and gave me a quote on installing two mini splits on the second floor, once he left I had a quote that night that had everything broken down. Starting the following week he showed up and did an amazing job on his install. I’ll be using him again and I’m recommend him to everyone!!

Be careful trying to work with Derek the owner of the company especially if you start to ask him questions about the company and his techs or a Saturday morning he will tell you he is choosing not to work with you. Other company’s work Saturdays and even come and give quotes on Sundays but this guy doesn’t wanna do business with you if you bother him on a Saturday. Didn’t know working on a weekend was a sin.

Had four mini splits with heat pumps installed. Great experience. Top notch equipment. Efficient install. Succinct explanation of processes from initial bid visit through installation completion (including all relevant MA Save processes). Best price in the area without question. I would recommend Capital to anyone. It’s very rare to find a contractor that offers exceptional service, timely communication, fair prices, offers top tier equipment and has integrity. You will not find better. Period.

Just had a Fujitsu mini split heat pump installed in our house by Derek at Capitol Heating and Plumbing. Very responsive - always available for question during quote process. He and his coworker did an excellent job, they showed up on time, very meticulous work, unit looks great and I would recommend him with no concerns.

I have used Derek at Capital Heating & Cooling for two years now for AC/Heating maintenance and repairs. He even drove in a snow storm to repair my heat when I was out of town and my wife and small child were at home. He recently installed a ductless mini-split and did a fantastic job. My Minisplit failed to drain on a/c and was leaking water in the house. Derek responded quickly to my call and was out same day. He is knowledgeable, and troubleshot a failed condensate pump. He gave honest advice on options for repair. He is interested in customer satisfaction and a positive result over upcharging minor repairs. Definitely recommend Capital Heating & cooling

We are absolutely ecstatic to have AC working in our home again, especially before the hot summer is about to begin. We have used other companies previously and neither of them have ever taken apart our system the way that Derek did today. I would highly recommend him to those with Mitsubishi systems. He is highly qualified and well educated in the system. He went above and beyond and answered more questions regarding our water heater and our duct work. Absolutely excellent, professional and very kind and we will be using him in the future!

He spent time to show us how to maintain our split systems and what to look for should problems occur.
