Discussed all areas of purchase and a PPA, a Power Purchase Agreement. Amazing. They were the ONLY ONES who had decades of experience and their quotes blew all others out of the water! We both would award 10 stars not just 5 because the went well above and beyond!

Looking for a solar carport and geothermal solutions. Learned that Southcoast Greenlight designs and builds these for home and commercial. Very impressed with their roof top solar and parking lot solar arrays seen in their videos for local area banks. Friendly people, they even recommended the place next door to them for lunch! Very pleased.

Southcoast Greenlight was there to help me solve a problem with my solar panels after the big storm caused power outages for 6 days. Panels were installed by SCGL in 2009 so they were a little old school and needed some research. They walked me through procedures to get my inverter back on line without delay and without charges.

I had a very disappointing experience with them. I was working with Gary Cyr on a geothermal project and was looking into a hybrid system. In the middle of a conversation he flew off the handle and hung up on me. Maybe he was having a bad day but I suspect he has a short fuse and may not respond well when a home owner makes suggestions or at all questions their work. They seem to be well respected but the lack of flexibility and basic business courtesy is a serious red flag for me.

Highly recommended 5 star experience from being to end. Southcoast Greenlight was professional, responsive and provided a top quality product. Sal was helpful and informative every step of way. If you're looking into solar, Southcoast Greenlight is the company to choose.

We had a geothermal system put in a few years ago. It was a "retro-fit" as our house is over 20 years old. This was not an easy job but the Southcoast Greenlight team made it work. They are expert at all aspects of installation and maintenance of geothermal systems. We love our geo system-it is clean, quiet and efficient and most of all, it is much less expensive that heating oil. I have nothing but praise for Southcoast Greenlight and recommend them without reservation.

We have been working with Southcoast Greenlight for the past 10 years when they initially installed our geothermal system. Our geothermal system works efficiently and as expected. Gary, Pete and Jon are straightforward, professional and a pleasure to work with.

Gary Cyr took the time to explain the technology clearly and patiently to us. He and his team professionally installed the system. He was quick and responsive in follow-ups. He provided excellent coordination with our builder throughout the process. He was very knowledgable and helpful with the Federal and State incentives and rebates. He crafted custom venting for the energy recovery ventilator to ensure they were tall enough to avoid accumulating snow. His expertise in ground source heat pump systems is obvious. Our system has been operating for half a year (so far) without any concerns. I would highly recommend.

Sal answered all my questions, even the ones about water heaters etc.
The system he recommended completely replaced my old propane heating system and keeps us cool in the summer as well.
Installation crew was great to work with and did a great job handling a complicated installation.

Southcoast Greenlight installed geothermal and solar systems for our new construction. They gave us good advice throughout the process, did good quality work, and followed up in a timely fashion on unresolved issues. They recently added a second solar system on our garage to boost our energy production. We are very happy with the results.

I highly recommend Southcoast Greenlight. Gary Cyr is extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. I looked at several companies before deciding on Southcoast Greenlight. They had the best offer, the most experience, and the best reputation. Gap Mountain Drilling out of NH did the drilling (also the best around) and Southcoast Greenlight installed the geothermal Climate Master system. Jon Cyr and Tim Tait installed the system quickly and efficiently in one week (ductwork already in place). They really know the system and did a fantastic job; both also great to work with. Jon is particularly knowledgeable in all aspects of the install and maintenance. These systems are not cheap, but save over the long run, and the incentives now make these systems cost competitive. They are extremely efficient and quiet; our new system is quieter than our dehumidifier. No outside compressor so the system will last much longer, and I like the idea of drawing heating or cooling from the constant ground temperature in lieu of directly burning fossil fuels. The best heat pumps have efficiency ratings in the high 90's%. Geothermal systems like this one have efficiency ratings in the 300-400% range; hence the long-term savings. I recommend geothermal and would highly recommend Southcoast Greenlight. They are, in my opinion, the best out there.

Southcoast Greenlight installed my closed loop geothermal system several years ago. Gary was very knowledgeable, responsive and professional throughout the design and installation. He also personally oversaw the installation.

Since the installation, the system has been relatively maintenance free with the exception of a capacitor which has failed twice. Both times, Gary was responsive to the component failure and the system was made operational under warranty.

I would definitely recommend Southcoast Greenlight Energy as a company and Gary Cyr as an excellent representative.
