Excavating Contractor reviews in Upton, Massachusetts

Very professional. Replaced an aged sewer system for title 5 approval.

There guys were great. They worked closely with us, the engineers and town inspectors to finish the job beautifully!

Barrows completed the septic system minor excavation and upgrade work as requested, neatly, on time and on budget.

Glenn and his team did a great job! They were responsive and very professional.

Glenn and his team were amazing!! I honestly couldn't have asked for a more seamless experience. Highly recommend Barrows Contracting!

I needed a foundation for a detached garage. Glenn, was a pleasure to deal with from the start. He was extremely responsive and kept me updated along the way. As a homeowner, I was not highly knowledgeable about foundations. He and his team answered my questions and I was very comfortable with what to expect. The completed foundation and floor came out awesome.

Glenn and his crew did an excellent, professional and timely job pouring a heavy duty (90,000 lb rated) equipment pad at my facility in Uxbridge, MA. The price was excellent compared to competing quotes and the job was done to print. I would absolutely recommend him and his company to anyone looking for a similar job.

Barrows Contracting was extremely prompt with our project. He was knowledgeable, willing to help in any way he could, and went above and beyond our expectations. Give Glenn a call- you won’t be disappointed!

Simply amazing! What a great company they are and every one of their employees was awesome.

From start to finish Barrows steered us through a complex process and made it straightforward.

They really took care of everything and kept communication flowing, which was very much appreciated as we had a tight timeline and lots of moving parts to consider.

I would not hesitate in recommending them and everyone I spoke with in the process also said they are the #1 choice.

The entire experience of working with Barrows was outstanding. They were very communicative throughout the process of scheduling, then replacing our distribution box. I found that all Barrows employees with whom I spoke were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Barrows Contracting, without any hesitation.

Pouring a foundation is the most important part of building a home, and Barrows Contracting Inc. is the choice you should make. I had the pleasure of dealing with Glen and his team on a garage addition. As a carpenter and custom builder, I deal with several contractors year after year and Barrows delivers true quality. They really care about the work that they do. Fully insured and fully experienced. I look forward to doing business with them again.

Glenn and team were brought on to do a complete septic replacement after we purchased a house that failed Title V.

He got us a quote quickly, priced the job out reasonably and worked through several hurdles and a lot of rock to get our system completed. We very much appreciated his updates on scheduling and walking us through the system and how it should operate.

Barrows was quick to get me a quote actually the same day Glen was at my property. The work started promptly at 0700 on the day of the DEMO work and Glen also used a large dump truck for the debris removal eliminating the need for a big roll off unit. Barrows is also fully insured and has all the required credentials necessary to gain approval immediately from the building commissioner. The guys that did the actual work were very professional and respectful of all aspects of the job and the property. I can't forget to mention the price...blew all the others away! I will use Barrows again!

Got a new septic system and needed to redo the entire front yard and the driveway. Barrows Contracting was hired to do both and they are were so professional throughout the process. I don't get construction lingo so much but Glen would patiently explain everything to me. The required paperwork with the city hall was always updated by them, always so courteous and responsive to phone calls. They were the only hires who made the process of constructing the house smooth and painless. Highly recommended!

We are very pleased with the work Glenn and his team did on our driveway. They add rock and gravel to make a circular driveway into our barn to enable us to park in it. They were quick, did what they said they would for the price we were quoted. Would absolutely work with them again. Excellent job.

Glenn Barrows is very communicative and thorough. His team is also very thoughtful and hardworking. A new septic is not the most fun project but Barrows Contracting did what was needed as per plan and permitting requirements.

We've worked with Barrows Contracting on multiple occasions. Glenn and his team provides excellent customer service in a timely manner and performs amazing work. Our family would recommend Barrows to anyone looking to have a new septic system installed or any other services they provide.

Barrows Contracting was introduced to us as a highly recommended septic installer. Glenn was incredibly honest, responsive, detailed and helpful throughout the entire process. Thank you to Glenn and Team!

Glen and team did a great job removing our inground pool that had unfortunately failed. They were very efficient getting it all done and left our property in great shape to plant a nice lawn.

Barrows Contracting did an exceptional job on a complete replacement of our existing septic system. Glenn and his team were extremely professional and considerate throughout the process. They had a tight area to work in and they were able to take down a large tree and preserve a stone wall saving us time and money. They ran into ledge when installing the new larger tank. No problem, they were able to split the ledge and remove it the next day. The finished yard grading looks better than before the project started. They were on time and on budget, true to their estimate. This is a large ticket project and I would highly recommend Barrows Contracting for any septic repair or replacement needs. I like that they are a locally owned family business.

Glenn and crew were a great group of people to work with. He was there on time everyday, worked with us to find a solution to our septic issue, and executed. After the work was done we had some concerns and reached out. Glenn was there the next day to review everything with us. Great customer service and stands by his work. 100% recommend
