I just signed up with Velvet Green for their lawn care service. The sign up process was easy and communication has been great. They came for the initial service of a Lyme application and soil sampling. It is way too early to measure results but so far so good.

Jaime was prompt and polite. He explained what they were going to do. One truck did the aeration a pond seeding, and a second truck was coming with the organic top dressing. They even used a leaf blower to clear those off my grass. Very satisfied with the job.

This past year we began the process of renovating our backyard which was severely overgrown with rock, poison ivy, and other weeds. Organic Lawn care was very important to us as our growing family will be using this area constantly and we would like to minimize exposure to harmful chemicals and pesticides. The Velvet Green team was absolutely fantastic to work with in regard to educating us on the program, weighing the pro's and con's of different methods, and ultimately delivering fantastic service. The Velvet Green team completed the initial installation of a new lawn last fall and complemented that with aeration, overseeding, and top dressing this spring. The grass looked fantastic after the initial installation, but after the overseeding about a week and a half ago, our lawn is amazingly full and green. We have been receiving complements from our neighbors constantly, and we cannot wait to mow it once the overseeding has fully grown.

I would absolutely recommend the Velvet Green team for their knowledge, organic services, attention to detail, and fantastic customer service.

This is the first year that we have used Velvet Green for our lawn. The results were amazing. Then large patches of the lawn turned brown. Mike came by to check it out and pulled out all the stops to bring back the lush appearance that we were looking to achieve. I've been working with Velvet Green for a few years now. They do an excellent job maintaining my lawn. The grass is thick, dark green, and mostly weed free. Using only organic materials gives me peace of mind. They're not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

I was referred to Velvet Green after I had my lot excavated, re-graded and a new lawn installed in the Fall of 2022. After speaking with Michael in the Spring of 2023, there was no hesitation on my part to sign up for their services. Velvet green being all organic was a huge factor for me. Mostly, though it was because Michael was so informative, knowledgeable about what my lawn needed to get established and happily explained the detailed plan for how we would go about doing so. They began with a soil test and then went on to do the treatments in the Spring of 2023. At that point, the lawn was struggling, a lot of bare spots and I was so disappointed with the installation of the lawn (not done by Velvet Green). Michael assured me that Velvet Green would be able to transform my lawn into something we both would be proud of. He also explained that it takes a few years to establish a new lawn. Well, it has been only 5 months, and the lawn looks AMAZING. All the bare spots have filled in, it is lush and green. So much so that you want to go out and lay on it! I would also like to point out the excellent customer service Michael and the team provides - every call is returned in a timely fashion and when treatments do not coordinate with my lawn cutting schedule Velvet Green does their best to accommodate where and when they can. When I am out watering (a part time job as I don't have irrigation yet) my neighbors stop and admire the lawn along with me. I am so happy I found Velvet Green and can only imagine, with their guidance and services, what the lawn will look like in 2024! Thank you Velvet Green!

My lawn is night and day better since Velvet Green started their work at the beginning of this season. Not only do they provide a ton of useful info on their website and youtube channel, but they do a wonderful job of communicating every step of the process. They send emails letting you know when they'll be arriving and then follow up reports with their assessment of your lawn post-treatment. 5/5.

Jaime at Velvet Green came and aerated, seeded, and top dressed my lawn. They were very efficient and wasted no time getting their work completed and left the place looking great! I had recently purchased my own grass seed and they had no problem putting it down for me with absolutely no pressure for me to use their seed. GREAT EXPERIENCE, would highly recommend! They are also super communicative with email and text notifications several days prior to the appointment. Great work guys!

Have been using Romero for a few years for lawn maintenance and a few other projects such as a new retaining wall. They do good work and the owner, Edgar Romero, is responsive and very easy to deal with.

Edgar and his team did a great fall cleanup for my home, including privet and dogwood trimming, removing crabgrass around flagstones in patio and in front of house and general cleanup of leaves and sticks. Edgar is very courteous and professional and the price was reasonable. I am talking with him regarding other projects around my home for the future. I do recommend Romero Landscaping and Construction.

The communication is same day replies. They reply very quickly every single time! They show up on time and when they say they will! The prices are fair and the job is stellar. We recently used them to place our house on the market. The outside needed significant work and they took on the project with next to no notice. ( with only about one week to get it done and they DID)
The powerwashed, landscaped, mulched and edged, cut back bushes and took away clippings.
Additionally, they panted our shed and deck! The are the “unicorn” of the business and we will absolutely be contacting Solution Landscaping in the future once we move into on our new house!!

They are amazing! Always helpful, kind, and hard workers! Hire them for all my outdoor needs - power washing, weeding, lawn cutting, planting, etc!
