Mendez painters did a phenomenal job painting the exterior of our home and garage. And they were easy to work with. I will definitely use them again for all future painting needs.

Their approach to prepping the house exceeded our expectations. Our home is about 100 years old. They scrapped and ground the house and garage down, in many places bare. They were very careful with our property. They covered the ground with tarps to catch the chips. To prep for painting, they power washed our entire house including the gutters. They covered all of our windows with plastic (which we appreciated because we had just replaced the windows last summer) before doing a full even coat primer. They did a special treatment on the north side of the house to combat mildew and mold. And then did a beautiful finish coat.

We felt like their pricing was more than fair, and from quote through final clean up we enjoyed working with them.

We hired Mendez Painters to do interior painting on our first floor of our home. Florentin, Julio, and team did an amazing job and we’re very happy with the results. We learned about Mendez from some of our neighbors in Melrose. After I called, Florentin came by same day for an estimate at a reasonable price, I received a written quote through email, then we booked the job for the next week. The job took four days, where the team did two days of prep and two days of detailed painting of walls, trim, ceilings, doors, built-in cabinets, banisters and balustrades, and windows. They covered all of our floors and furniture, even created a dust wall when they sandblasted our mudroom that had years of paint on the wainscoting. Florentin and Julio were easy to work with, honest, great with communication (email, text, and in person), sought out and were receptive to feedback, and listened to our needs. They used high quality Benjamin Moore Regal Select paints and made sure the job was finished on time and with the same team throughout.
