Landscaping reviews in Wakefield, Massachusetts

Pablo was very thorough in his aeration and overseeding service. Even hard to reach spots were taken care of by hand where the aerator and spreader couldn’t access. I’m a big fan of seeing techs that have an attention to detail and aren’t just trying to get to the next house as quickly as possible. Thank you Pablo!

Excellent. Work is always done to my satisfaction. I want to get sure the back yard is fine as well as the front yard. Carol did a wonderful job! She deserves a bonus. She did fertilizer, grub control and weed control.

Pablo from Velvet Green completed Spring aeration and overseeding to our lawn on 4/28/25. We've been using Velvet Green for many years and because of the scheduled maintenance our lawn is in very good shape. We did have some tree work done in the fall which caused some large dead spots in one area of the yard. Pablo leveled the top soil and hand seeded that area. Thank you for your attention to the details.

Patty was wonderful right out of the gate. She educated us on all things lawn and was very thorough. We never received any kind of handholding with our previous lawn care provider, which we really appreciated.

Jaime did a great job on our lawn! There were some hard to reach places but he got it all! Great job!

My lawn responded so well to the Velvet Green products and services used, and the staff was very professional and responsive to any questions. Highly recommending to family and friends!! Dogs love it too!!

Our grass is thriving after working with Velvet Green, it’s looking great! Will continue to work with them over the coming years for our lawn care needs!

James is the BEST always does a fabulous job. So pleased with Velvet Green.

Jaime’s team did a great job seeding and aerating my lawn. Great to work with. Now, just the watering.

First visit from our tech, Nick was great - he conducted a soil test, lime application, and spring fertilization to our front and backyard. It was a quick service. Looking forward to the next steps to get our lawn ready for the summer

Pablo did an excellent job today with the seeding and aeration of my lawn. He also took care to blow away any dirt from the sidewalks which was much appreciated. Velvet Green always does a great job.

Nick Drew from Velvet Green Organic Lawn Care was very efficient and timely in getting my service done today! Nick was also very flexible as I asked him to come back after the rain to apply the fertilizer, etc as it was our first time getting an application done.

Pablo from Velvet is very professional. He did very thorough and good work on our lawn. Thank you!

Patty is the greatest. I was so happy when I saw her for the first time this spring. She is so caring and friendly and always gives a positive vibe when she comes into the yard. I always worry about my gay being chat and when Patty’s around, I know I don’t have to because she loves dogs.

Patty was early (which I had requested so appreciated that). She reviewed what services were going to be performed and reminded me of follow up instructions very clearly and thoroughly. She was extremely polite and mindful of all areas of my property.

Jamie and the team at velvet green do a great job for our family yard and keep safe for our best friends

Patty provided early spring fertilization to our property. She was thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable about the process. We were very satisfied with the service and would recommend her and VelvetGreen as we are pleased with the condition of the lawn.

Velvet Green has been taking care of my lawn for years now, and it has never looked better. Kane does an excellent job spraying for ticks and mosquitoes and Patty is always friendly and thorough with the lawn treatments. Highly recommend!

Patty is always efficient and always there on time. Velvet Green is by far the best lawn care service there is out there.

Pati came to apply a pre fall fertilizer to our lawn. She is very thorough, hard working and pleasant. Velvet Green Lawn care has an excellent staff.

New Customer to Velvet Green. Referred to by a few neighbors, after trying a national outfit. I have been happy so far on all fronts. Received an Email the day before my 1st visit. Kane came out as advertised and performed some soil sample tests to refine my plan for the year and provided the first application. He then followed up with detailed an E-mail outlining everything. Looking forward to a great season and an improved lawn.
