Reviews of local pros in Wakefield, Massachusetts

Excellent experience. Could not recommend this company more. We recently had several landscaping renovations made to our home (new edging, lawn thatching/aerating/planting, new fencing, new patio, tree removal, spring clean up, tree pruning).

Bruce was my contact throughout the process and was incredibly attentive. He called frequently with updates and to discuss options. He also identified some defects in our already existing deck and offered to correct the problem at a remarkably reasonable price.

Work was completed very quickly--a little over two weeks from start to finish, and they started working the very day I met with Bruce to go over his estimate.

I plan to use Done Right again in the future and would strongly recommend using them for any landscaping project. You will not be sorry!

Working with Bruce and the Done Right Landscaping & Construction team was one of the best decisions we’ve made for our yard. Bruce has a real eye for design and a deep knowledge of materials and construction. He’s reliable, professional, and genuinely cares about delivering high-quality work.

His attention to detail showed in everything, from the clean aluminum edging to the placement of decorative stone and flowers, trees, and new beautiful stone pavement.

What really stood out was how thoughtful and helpful Bruce was throughout. He offered ideas, explained each step, and made sure we were happy with the final outcome. His crew was skilled, polite, and respectful of our space.
Highly recommend their services!

Done Right does it right!! Bruce makes Wakefield a beautiful town. Just driving around my town & I see the works of Done Right and I am always impressed. Not only does he do beautiful work but he is a stand up guy who truly is a gem of this town.
5 Stars all round. Thank you Bruce!!

I recently moved to the area and saw the great reviews for Done Right. Bruce and his team were phenomenal. Bruce came out the day I called him for a quote. His team came a week later and did a fantastic job with my yard. They did the job quick and efficiently. I would highly recommend for anyone that wants any work done to their property.

Bruce and Done Right transformed our front lawn and we cant thank him enough. Not only are Bruce and his team professional and polite, they are perfectionists and it shows. Our front lawn was a disaster prior to Done Rights help. They also finished off fencing in our back yard. The proof is in the pudding and Done Right will make sure that the job is truly “Done Right”.

Bruce was great. I got a fair price and he was able to fit in my relatively small job quickly. Even though it was smaller job, I felt like I was the only job he had going on. Very happy with the work done. From uneven dirt and rocks to grass in 2 weeks.

Bruce and the team at Done Right Landscape truly live up to their name! From the moment we spoke, Bruce was professional, responsive, and full of great ideas. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, and delivered more than we expected. The quality of work, attention to detail, and care his crew put into every step was outstanding. Our yard looks amazing, and we’ve received so many compliments from neighbors! If you want a landscape job done right — call Bruce. Highly recommend!

Bruce did my spring clean up and edging. I can’t say enough wonderful adjectives about how amazing his crew were. They went above and beyond all my expectations. My edging has never looked this good before. I will continue to use Bruce and Doneright landscape for all my landscape work. Thank you Bruce and crew

Done Right Landscape is truly in a class of its own. From start to finish, they delivered a level of service that exceeded every expectation I had. Their landscape design work is absolutely stunning, creative, functional, and was tailored perfectly for my property. What impressed me most was their attention to detail for our low-maintenance design without sacrificing beauty or detail.

Transformative may not be a big enough word for what Bruce and his crew at Done Right Landscaping did with our backyard.

We 1st reached out to Bruce in the Spring of 2021 after seeing some of his work and reviews online. We have a fenced-in yard that is primarily an outdoor space for our young son and dog, but it had some draining issues, poor soil from a previous owner’s pool above ground pool, and a mix of grass types.

It was clear from the 1st visit with Bruce that he was passionate about his work and had a keen eye for the full design of the yard. He came back multiple times to answer our questions and work through quote options that fit our budget. He was able to expand on our vision and bring in some great details that we would have never considered on our own.

We originally planned for and late Spring installation, but supply chain issues pushed us into the Fall. This ended up being better for the new lawn and plants. The Done Right crew worked for the better part of a full week; first removing the old lawn, prepping the beds, meticulously placing pavers, and bringing in truck loads of loam and mulch to properly grade the lawn for drainage.

Bruce also helped with planning the water tower setup for the lawn and watering plan for the plant beds. The new lawn and plants were established before Winter and have all come back this Spring with little effort. He also included some solar lights throughout the beds for free and adjusted the gates on our fence which had been installed incorrectly by another vendor.

I don’t think we anticipated having a backyard as amazing as this. We are truly happy with our new space heading into 2022 summer season. Bruce’s attention to detail, passion, and professionalism can only be described as Done Right!

Bruce and his crew did absolutely amazing work. Our backyard was an eyesore - a patio that was dated, settling, and uneven and a yard that was only green when the weeds came in. We couldn't really spend any time out in it. Now it looks like a high end country club - Bruce had a vision and some really good recommendations that we couldn't be happier with.

I highly recommend Bruce and team at Done Right Landscape. I wanted a chain link fence removed from my property replaced with a 6 foot vinyl privacy fence as well as some additional fencing and a gate to fully close off my yard. I got 3 estimates from local companies and decided to go with Bruce and I’m very happy with my decision. From the moment he showed up at my house for the estimate you can tell that he is very passionate and knowledgeable about what he does. He brings his tablet so he can give you a estimate on the spot and he took the time to go over different options and show me pictures/examples of things he’s done for other customers. I decided to go with his company and his time estimate was 3-4 weeks due to COVID material supply backlogs (which was actually at least 2-4 weeks sooner than the other estimates I got). His timing was accurate and he started my fence within 4 weeks. Him and his crew got this project done in under 2 days, staying until 6-7 pm to make sure I’d have my fenced in yard by the weekend. The fence came out beautiful (see pics) and I’ve already gotten compliments from anyone who comes by.

Bruce takes great pride in his quality of work and goes the extra mile for his customers. One example: he put down loam under my new fence to fill some gaps. He told me make sure you seed and fertilize that so the grass can grow. I started to ask questions about what to buy (because I am new to this) and he said actually don’t worry about it, I’ll come back tomorrow (a Saturday) and will seed and fertilize it for you. Sure thing, I look out my window the next morning to see not only had he put down seed and fertilizer, he was out there watering it with the hose. That is the type of extra service that is never expected but always appreciated.

I found Bruce to be professional, responsive, and a perfectionist every step of the way...all important qualities in someone doing work on your home. I definitely recommend Done Right Landscape and will use them again in the future.

Bruce was so professional, from start to finish. He had great design ideas for the fence and gate and provided a reasonable cost estimate for the project. The project was completed in a timely manner: cleanup of vines, removal of old chain link fence, and the installation of a new vinyl privacy fence and gate.
And on top of that, he went above and beyond to clean up my back and front yard (hedges and weeds), and power wash the new fence and the adjoining neighbor’s fence and a garage door. He and his crew were efficient and left the work site cleaner than they found it.
The end product is fantastic and I can’t say enough good things about his work. Would definitely recommend and use his services again.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bruce recently, and I can honestly say—he is truly inspiring. His passion for landscaping goes far beyond creating beautiful outdoor spaces; he’s deeply committed to helping people bring their visions to life in a way that’s both meaningful and impactful.

What sets Bruce apart is not just his talent, but the heart he brings to every project. His extensive travels around the world have shaped a unique and thoughtful design perspective, and it shows in the creativity and care he brings to his work. Every interaction I’ve had with him has been marked by genuine professionalism, deep knowledge, and a sincere desire to deliver the absolute best for his clients.

He recently shared photos of a low-maintenance design project that perfectly showcases his expertise and attention to detail—featuring cobblestone borders set in cement, exotic pebble stones, colorful perennial plantings, dwarf flowering trees, a lush new sod lawn with irrigation, and a beautiful backyard playground complete with rubber mulch. It’s the perfect example of how he blends function, beauty, and long-term sustainability into every space he touches.

If you’re looking for someone who will not only create a stunning landscape but also treat your project with the dedication it deserves, Bruce is the one. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

I am happy with my new patio and the work done to even my yard and help the grass to come in better.
Bruce was very present and did a great job. It took about a month all toll - weather was a big factor. It was a little pricy but worth it. I’m very happy to finally have a patio I can enjoy.

I recently reached out to Done Right Landscaping, and Bruce promptly responded to my request for a front and side yard cleanup. The following day, he visited my property, provided me with a detailed quote, and outlined the scope of work. I am thoroughly impressed with the results. The yard now looks beautiful, and Bruce’s team executed an exquisite job. Their professionalism, courtesy, and hard work are truly commendable. I would highly recommend Done Right Landscaping to my friends and family. Thank you, Bruce, for your professionalism, beautiful results and prompt assistance. Please see the before and after pictures.

We had a wonderful experience with Bruce and the entire crew at Done Right! They did the work incredibly fast and well, and were also able to help us with an unforeseen challenge on the site. We would recommend them to anyone!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience of working with Done Right Landscape & Construction Company. Bruce and his amazing team completely transformed our property from a run down, weed infested nightmare to a low maintenance, peaceful oasis that added so much value to our property. I’m adding a video and pictures with this review to show the dramatic difference our new design has done for our store front. Customers can’t stop raving about it!

Today I write this long overdue Five +++ Star review to Done Right Landscaping & Construction , the crew and especially to the owner Bruce Aleo for his design vision and genius. Bruce is not only extremely knowledgeable, reliable, professional, trustworthy and competent ( he knows his craft) always on site striving for perfection. Bruce is extremely helpful in giving positive and polite feedback in options for a more beautiful outcome with his fantastic vision. His customer service skills are precise and professional.
I have had nothing but an extremely satisfying experience with him and his crew.
After one year of his using his business, we continue to plan and design of agrowing, beautiful yard space.
What started with removing 78 feet of shrub and replacing with a fence install and a 78 foot build of Nicolock interlock block with paver top retaining wall, same paver walkway and patio using polymeric sand underneath also making lovely white granite steps .
We also used white granite blocks to border behind fence and wrap around and nice white hydrangea tree.
He used black aluminum edging, black much and decorative river rock around the may vibrant flowers and plants designed and placed precisely along the top of the wall.
Please take my review and recommendation for your next Landscaping project and chose Bruce Aleoand his crew at Done Right Landscaping & Construction. The only review you really need is in the name of the company Done Right, you won't be sorry.
Five Sar +++++++
Thank you,
