The FENSU team is first-class. They did a phenomenal job removing an old fence and building a new wood one. They were responsive, clear, professional, timely, and highly skilled. The new fence is high quality, built with outstanding craftsmanship. I could not be happier!

We had a great experience with Fensu — we were looking for a modern look for a new fence with a horizontal design, and Fensu was one of the only fence companies in the Boston area who advertised such a design on their website. We reached out to a few different companies to compare options and prices, and while others said that they *could* do it, and they said red cedar was better but too expensive, at the end they proposed the same price as Fensu, but not the same wood. Fensu told us what was best for our design (red cedar, for the same price as the other companies), showed us around the options, talked us through what would work and how. They came promptly, did the work, and the end result is absolutely gorgeous. We only did one side of the needed three and will need to complete the project in the future, and we'll get back in touch with them without hesitation!

Chris and his team are great to work with. They replaced our backyard slatted fence with a beautiful cedar stockade fence. Everything from initial consultation to installation happened smoothly and on schedule. They are a knowledgeable and professional organization. The price was very fair, including removal of the existing fence. I highly recommend Fensu.

Chris and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. Chris was very responsive on getting quotes, responding to questions, and communicating delays and lead time (due to wood supply/style during covid). The team showed up exactly on time and were quick, clean and professional with repairing several segments of our fence and removing the broken debris. I contacted Chris at Fensu for a quote for the removal and replacement of the fence in my yard, which required around 110 linear feet. I was very quickly contacted and after discussing my needs received a very prompt, detailed and competitive quotation. The job was scheduled and work commenced and completed exactly as scheduled. The crew was extremely professional and knowledgeable, respectful of my property and removed all the old stuff and left my yard in better shape that is was in when they started. Fensu did a great job installing two fences at my house. The salesman who first came was great, then the install crew did a great job as well. The foreman took the time to care and to do a professional job, no short-cuts. They were responsive, answered all my e-mails timely and showed up when they said they would. I would use them again anytime.

Fensu is the best fence business in the area. The guys do fantastic quality work and the owner is a great guy. We've had them replace and reinforce a few sections of our old fence and there is an obvious difference between the quality of work of the old fence and that of Fensu.

Fensu saved our bacon this weekend too. A section was more or less toppling into our neighbor's yard. I emailed the owner, referencing an old estimate from about a year ago we didn't proceed with at the time. The owner got back to me (on a Sunday), kept the original quote and said he'd call me the following week. The next morning, Monday, the owner called and said his crew had an opening and he could load them up and send them over. The guys replaced the toppled section and reinforced a post in the back that was wobbling, all in about 2 hours.

We are going to have Fensu back this year for some additional work. There is no question when it comes to choosing Fensu.

Fensu installed a fence for us in 2015. It was a slightly tricky install due to our terraced yard, but they did a terrific job and were very accommodating to our specific needs. Six years later and the fence still looks great. A recent storm brought a tree down on a section of fence. Fensu worked with us to get the repairs taken care of. I was so glad to have gone with a reputable company 6 years ago, it made the repair feel much simpler. The whole team is so nice and flexible, I would highly recommend them for your fencing project and can vouch for the longevity of their installs!

This is our third time using Fensu over several years. Chris runs an excellent operation. His staff is extremely professional and trustworthy. Their work is outstanding. Fences in general are surprisingly costly but their work is top notch and when it is installed you really understand why it’s worth it to have Fensu install. And they are very reasonable among the top installers. We have had to install along old rock walls and the terrain is not easy to work with but they have always done amazing work. They have grown a lot but Chris is still on top of every detail, responding to every text and email. He has a lot of patience for someone like me - I like to weigh all my options and optimize what’s best for me. Finally, we have had to deal with crazy neighbors at times and Chris has been most professional as has his staff. Every single time have installed a fence, we have been overjoyed with the results.

My experience working with Fensu was fantastic from start to finish. We moved into a new construction home that had a partial fence up that was not our style and we needed a full enclosure for our dogs. I met with Mike at the property the first time where he walked me through different design options and placement locations for gates, etc to give us a few options. We then worked with the owner, Chris, to nail down the final shape/length of the fence, who was incredibly patient as we changed our mind a few times on the perimeter location of the fence. Once it came time to install, our project manager Tony was incredibly communicative about how the removal of old fence and installation of new fence was going - compounded by me being out of the country, he was respectful of the time difference and made sure I was in the know for the entire (and fast!) project.

What a fantastic fence company! I needed fence and posts just to purchase for a seasonal site we have in CT. I called a company in CT and had a horrible experience. We live in MA so I decided to call Fensu and talked to Chris. He told me to email him with what we needed and would send a quote. His response was quick and he was very friendly. Husband went next morning to make deposit and next day our purchase was ready for pick up. I can’t say enough about Fensu. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again!!

A small condo asked for installing a fence on the backyard. The price is reasonable, the only problem was waiting for a month until the materials arrived, but this is in no way their fault. The owner came to the job spot, discussed all our desires and concerns, and the very next day the crew performed the job, which took about 3 hrs. Everything was fast and clean.

I have been a long-time customer. Had Fensu install my backyard fence in 2009 I believe. The quality of the fence, customer service, and durability/installation of the fence, all exceeded my expectations. Throughout the years, we had to call Fensu a few times to fix the fence b/c of the wind. Chris is always quick to respond and always willing to help, and is very reasonable on the cost. Fensu installed beautiful cedar fencing and gates at my property in Charlestown in 2021. Recently, I had an issue where one of my gates was damaged. I contacted Chris at Fensu and within 24 hours my gate was repaired and looking as great as the day it was installed. After the initial work was completed, a neighbor unexpectedly challenged the property line, forcing us into a month-long ordeal involving a second land survey. Throughout it all, the team stood by us. They never pressured us, allowing plenty of time for things to be resolved, and always responded with patience and empathy.
When the new survey came in and required the fence posts to be moved, they came back without hesitation — and without charging us anything extra for the adjustments. That level of integrity and customer care is so rare these days. Their willingness to go above and beyond during a really uncomfortable situation made all the difference for us.
The final fence and gates look great. But what truly sets them apart is their character. We’re so grateful we chose Fensu and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for not only excellent craftsmanship but also outstanding customer service and support.

I had Fensu installed a 100-foot long, 8-foot tall wood fence six years ago. I was quite happy with the result, and had them back to install a 35-foot long, 6-foot tall wood fence two years later. Their work is as good, or better, than anybody else, but what really sets Chris and his team apart is the way they continues to support their product for years after the installation.

The eight-foot fence has a door, and after five years its huge weight had caused it to start to pull away from the hinges. I emailed Fensu and asked if they could come out to offer me potential solutions. Two days later Chris showed up, installed an additional hinge, solved the problem, and left without a word. No charge for his time and materials. Unbelievable. This week (now six years since the installation) his company was back again providing support, and it was the same excellent experience.

I have recommended Fensu to many friends, neighbors, and coworkers. There may be other companies that install as good of a fence as they do, but nobody matches the way they stand behind their work. Hire them, and you won’t go wrong.

Fensu and their crew did an efficient and beautiful job installing my fence. They were professional and easy to communicate with from start to finish, providing me with timelines and follow-ups as needed. Mid installation I was able to talk with the crew to discuss potential changes as needed. I also felt they were very considerate of their surroundings; They did a great job keeping my neighbors' land free from debris and the majority of my plants survived the install. Some plant casualties are inevitable (and worth it) but I think they tried their best to work around them. I would use Fensu again in the future and recommend them to others!
