This company is comprised a bunch of unprofessional grifters. I had already scheduled with another company to grind an enormous tree stump that takes up a large portion of my front yard and prevents grass and plants from growing. The process involves using a stump grinder to grind the stump 8-12" inches below grade (there was an unsightly mound around the stump, and I wanted a flat level front yard). I explained to Edgar that the other company was going to grind the stump down to 8-12" below its current grade, using a stump grinder. Edgar said he would do the same thing for $200 less. I asked him, "do you have the stump grinding equipment? If not, I already have the other company scheduled to remove the stump." Edgar assured me that he did. Because I'd also hired Edgar to do other work, I told him he could remove the stump, too. But Edgar showed up with only a small chain saw, he did not fully remove the stump, and he re- hid the stump with a 3" mound of dirt. Now, nothing but weeds grows over that stump. He did not properly prepare my soil by rototilling and removing all the rocks and debris from prior addition/construction job. He did not level or amend my soil. He thinly scattered some grass seeds, missing large portions of my yard. I began with an uneven rocky pitted weed filled yard and I was left with an uneven rocky pitted weed filled yard after paying Edgar almost $7 thousand dollars. I also asked Edgar to identify a few trees and shrubs in my yard. Edgar is a landscaper who cannot identify plants....he did not know what anything is. Yet he recommends pesticides without knowing what is growing in my yard. That is very unprofessional. You are supposed to know what type of flora is growing before you target it with pesticides. Lastly, Edgar's job was to include a small retaining wall to direct water away from my basement. He was also supposed to do some tree trimming. But, he disappeared 3 months ago, and never returned my calls. If I could give this company a negative 5 rating, I would. Included is my "after" photo of my front yard.

Elmer and his crew are very professional and knowledgeable about lawn and garden care. He divided some overgrown bushes and helped me pick the right spots for them along with spring and fall clean up. He replaced a broken gate for me so my dogs couldn’t escape!! He put in a patio and redid my walkways efficiently and skillfully. His crew is friendly but efficient making sure my yard looks perfect. He also does snow removal for me. I highly recommend D&G Landscaping and Masonry.

Reading your review of the above event is quite unfortunate, as well as, disturbing based on its extreme falsifications.

For starters, Mr. Caruso was born and raised in Italy which understandably makes him speak broken English with a significant accent. Therefore, this information makes your “quote” from him complete fiction. Anyone can spend a few minutes with Mr. Caruso and know there is no truth to your “quote” based on his mannerisms and language capabilities. Alone this fact renounces your credibility and leaves the question of how one such as yourself can call us incompetent charlatans?

On the day of said event, A. Caruso and Sons met with yourself and the owners of Waltham Garden eager to hear your feedback and work towards resolving any client issues. In this instance, nothing was destroyed and damages reviewed were minor and easy to fix. Regardless of the fact that there are a countless number of people at Waltham Gardens daily, we truly do not believe we were cause or responsible of any damages at this location. With that said, we were still happy to offer to pay for repairs of the minor damages which the property’s owner and Mr. Partensky are well aware. Being in business for over 30 years, we understand accidents happen and are quick to address and right any concerns.

We appreciate our continued relationship with Waltham Gardens and appreciate their active efforts to have the false review removed.

I’ve been using William Landscaping for about 4 years now, and they’ve always been reliable and consistent. This time they helped me with a full yard clean-up, including a large amount of leaves from several trees and even my gutters.
