Tom as MKC was fantastic with the home inspection for a new condo that I'm purchasing. As a 1st time home buyer he walked me through the entire process and noted every inch of the home that needed attention. With this I was able to utilize in order to bring the additional asking price of the home much lower. Will definitely utilize in the future for home resources.

I recently used MKC Associates for a home inspection on a home I am under contract to purchase. It was very easy to get an appointment scheduled. I was also provided with text reminders that included the inspectors name and contact info, which I found very helpful. Our inspector was Thomas Berthiaume and he was wonderful. Arrived on time, was very thorough and was happy to discuss his findings. I felt very confident in his work and would absolutely recommend this company for home inspections.

I am a first time home buyer and was quite nervous about all of the work that comes along with purchasing a house. Jack at MKC was great! We had to schedule an inspection for a home with only a few days notice and saw MKC had great reviews. We are so glad that there was an appointment available -- we had a great experience from the initial intake, to the inspection, to the follow-up report and support. I was concerned about some water staining on my ceilings, and wasn't sure who to call. A realtor friend referred me to MKC Associates Home Inspection for some non-invasive testing before I started cutting holes in my ceiling. I called and they were able to come out the following day with an IR camera to map the water damage.

They understood exactly what I needed and didn't try to expand the scope of work or encourage any invasive testing, which is nice since my issue wound up being not nearly as serious as I had feared. Had I panicked and cut my ceilings before MKC came out I would have had a much larger problem. So they saved me time and money and gave me peace of mind that my upstairs isn't trying to come downstairs

Having worked with MKC Associates on the purchase of a condo, I wouldn't work with anyone else in the future. The whole experience was easy as can be, from start to finish: scheduling, signing the contract, the inspection itself and the lightning fast, thorough report we received. Everything was clear and well documented. Our inspector, Jack, was phenomenal: patient, efficient, fully knowledgeable to a minute level of detail about everything he inspected. I can't recommend this company, or this inspector, more highly.

MKC performed the inspection for our purchase of an antique home and we were very impressed. Morgan was super knowledgeable, thorough, would stop and explain everything he was doing and seeing in real time, and did not miss one inch of the house. He also was very helpful in showing us how systems in the home work and things to be aware of in the future. We received a very thorough and professional report within 24 hours. I have used other home inspectors, but they were nothing like what MKC. I would strongly recommend them--particularly for an older or antique home.
