It has been an absolute pleasure working with PlumPro exterior from the very first day. Yuk is very professional and knowledgeable, absolutely meticulous about every aspect of the project, maintains transparency throughout the project, has excellent communication skills, very well organized with paperwork, respectful towards his clients thoughts. We hired his company to do a small yet very critical project for us. Front porch railing which is the main appearance of our house and he and his team are the best people we could have hired. His team was respectful to our property, maintained high standard of professionalism while working. Problem solving and sincerity towards their craftsmanship is all we can say for the two men who worked for our project.

We have a full house of windows to replace and we are so happy we found Yuk thanks to a recommendation on a local Facebook group. Yuk quoted the entire job and was transparent in his pricing. Yuk was patient walking us through the process and updating quotes when we decided to start only with the largest and least efficient windows. Yuk contacted me on a Friday as soon as the windows arrived and had his crew ready to start on Monday. We had a tight timeline to complete the installation before leaving for vacation. Yuk ensured us his team would complete the job on time. They worked throughout the day and well into the evening to get the job done. They were always respectful of our home while they worked. We’re so happy with the new windows and door they installed. We will definitely work with Yuk and his team again on additional windows, doors, and other home improvement projects.

We are extremely happy with the entire Project. Plum ProExteriors replaced our old wood shingle siding with James Hardie fiber cement shingles, installed a new custom-built front window and basement window, a new front door and a custom built basement door. We received many compliments from visiting family members and neighbors. We found the key personnel easy to deal with, straightforward, honest and reasonable with respect to both necessary and optional change orders and a couple scheduling hiccups, making helpful aesthetic suggestions along the way. We had solicited bids and interviewed four potential contractors and, although Plum Pro was not the lowest bid, we were struck by their thoughtful review of the Project and matter-of-fact honesty. In hindsight, we are certain that we made the right selection, and I would not hesitate to recommend them for any comparable project.

Before hiring Plum, unfortunately I made a mistake picking a company that does lots of sales talking (even PowerPoint presentation) but their real-life quality was horrifying so I let them go and signed the deal with Plum.
I couldn't be happier with the results! I'm one of those people that pays attention to every detail and I don't mind paying more $ to contractors that take pride in their work. What I saw from Plum is people working on my house with the same care they would put in their own house.

What impressed me the most was all the little details they do with color matched metal flashing. They wrap house sill to foundation with a metal lip, then tape it. After the water table is installed, they add another piece of metal flashing. All along the porch area is the same deal - first flashing at the very base and then another one on top of the PVC kickboard. Even the vertical transition between the brick chimney and siding.

I still have a project to do next year and I'm absolutely coming back to Plum.

Absolute pleasure working with Yuk and his team. From the planning process to the execution, our project went totally smoothly (almost unheard of from our experience). Yuk and the Plum ProExteriors are truly the best in the business. We needed the cedar siding on our house replaced and spoke to 12 different contractors before we found Yuk on Instagram. All the other folks we spoke with tried to persuade us to go with vinyl siding instead, or told us what we wanted to do with cedar was going to be impossible or exorbitantly expensive. Yuk, on the other hand, immediately understand our vision for our historic house and put an incredibly amount of time and attention into walking us through all our options, even explaining ways we could cut costs to meet our budget. I distinctly remember the moment we knew we had to work with him: when he was able to identify the style number of our existing windows and the type of cedar on our shingles (white cedar) from a single glance and explain how using white cedar instead of red would save us money. It's clear Yuk has really been on the ground in this business and brings those experiences to his role as a leader. He's also very easy to talk to and reach, and was always willing to humor my silly questions and concerns about the house (or to chat about cars, running a small business, or his family with me!)

The extended Plum Pro team was wonderful as well: efficient and detail oriented throughout the whole process, finishing our roof in 3 days, our siding in 3 weeks, and our windows in 2 days. They went above and beyond and even completed things we didn't ask for just because it was the right thing to do, like adding new trim to the windows on our front porch, replacing screens, and replacing a whole area of shingles we had assumed had to be left as is. They also preserved the historic elements of our house perfectly even though it took more time.

We are beyond thrilled with the final work. Even our neighbor, a former house builder, has commented on how exceptional it is! I've recommended Yuk and his team to dozens of folks already and if we ever need any additional exterior work done, we would absolutely work with him again in a second.

Yuk and his crew at Plum Pro did a fantastic job at our house. It was a full project- complete stripping and reshingling with cedar, repairing fascia boards, re-roofing, and installing copper gutters. Plum ProExteriors completed a full remodel of the exterior of my home, including doors, windows, exterior insulation and siding. Some of the design features and energy efficiency features I wanted were somewhat unconventional but I couldn't be more happy with the end result. Plum Pro did incredible work on the exterior of our house. It was an extensive project where we basically removed and replaced everything that is exposed to the elements on the outside of the house. Additionally, we also replaced multiple windows and all exterior doors plus our deck. The consult from Yuk on the right materials for each part of our project was honest and future looking. They also took a mudroom that had no exterior egress/ingress and installed a brand new exterior facing door and side windows that not just changed the look of the house entirely but the function. Every contractor we have worked with in the past is challenging when it comes to communication, timelines, and delivery; Plum Pro was one of the best we’ve worked with. And to be fair, while we needed to stay in constant communication with our project manager and the team, they were receptive and always did right by us as the customer in the end. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were interested in getting quotes on siding/painting and a roof replacement. I found Plum Pro through a local search on Google. They had a 5-star rating with a lot of reviews, so I reached out. The process that started from there was really impressive. We immediately received an email from their sales rep, Alan. He made a great first impression with us. I work in client management/sales so I am always paying attention to how salespeople come across. He came out to our house and walked us through their process and quickly followed up with quotes. Their prices were reasonable. I did not shop them against any of their competitors because I wasn’t looking for the cheapest contractor, I was looking for the best contractor, and at this point in the process I was confident that would be them based on their reviews and Alan’s sales consultation. After deciding to move forward with paint, roof replacement, and a bay window replacement, everything moved quickly. They are very proactive in their communications which is radically different than most contractors. They set up a group text chat with Alan, Yuk (the owner), and Danial (the project manager) and kept us informed at every step of the process. They anticipated our questions at each stage and carefully managed and exceeded our expectations. Their crews show up early and work hard all day. We plan to use them for any future projects and won’t hesitate to refer them to our friends and family. This was the best experience we’ve ever had with a contractor. You should hire them for your next project!

Yuk and the crew at Plum ProExteriors did an excellent job installing 7 Pella Architectural double-hung windows in my 1911 Dutch Colonial. Prior to providing a proposal, Yuk measured not once but twice to ensure the windows fit perfectly. Two of three windows were part of a bay window where the frames were no longer perfectly square. None the less, the crew got the windows to fit without issue. They finished with caulking any gaps inside and out for all the windows and finished the job in one day. The crew was clean and neat and even took away the old storm window frames. I already have received compliments on how well the windows look. After a year since the installation, my only complaint is that the windows make a cracking/popping sound. I’ve had Pella Windows installed in the past, but only these make the popping sound. I don’t know if the windows were improperly installed or whether it’s due to the quality of the windows themselves. Either way, the noise they make is both frustrating and annoying.
