Fernando is our go-to Electrician. He has responded on weekends and schedules service for non-urgent manners in a timely manner. He and his team always remove their shoes- without being asked. After the most recent service, his team vacuumed thoroughly. As for the electrical work - complete! Fernando is kind and very knowledgable in this area. Highly recommend.

Disconnected and then reconnected power to house so siding could be put on that side of the house. Worked with General contractor and electrical inspector so every thing went smoothly. Also had him give estimate on adding electrical shutoff for hot tub in the future. Very friendly and polite, even the dog liked him.

Fernando and his crew are always responsive, professional, and especially patient. They helped me through a remodel while I stumbled about acting as my own inexperienced GC.

They were surprisingly patient as I asked silly questions and made picky requests. When something unexpected came up, and I needed to call for help, someone would come same day or same hour. Out of all the things that caused stress in my project, the electrical work was not one of them. I would definitely call on Lopes Electric for future electrical needs.

Came for an initial estimate and made an appointment. We were then no-showed despite scheduling and taking a day off work. While a scheduling mix up was confirmed, we never received a call back.

Just the best family-owned business to work with. We needed our service entrance from our panel to the utility line replaced and suspected it was original from 1950! Fernando came out to take a look on the same day we first contacted him. While the Lopes estimate was one of the best ones we got, it was the fact that we felt like we were getting help from a caring friend and neighbor that made us certain this was the company we want to work with. We plan on doing so for many years to come!

UPDATE (March 2024): We had an outlet literally explode when it shorted out (shoddy DIY by a previous owner). Electric is one thing I don't like to mess around with, especially with a toddler in the house, so I sent Fernando a text asking if he could take a look. He got back to me right away to set up a time to come back. On the phone, I told him that I know he must have lots of much bigger projects to work on and this was just me being nervous. He said "Greg, I don't care how big or small the job is, you are my client, and I am going to make sure you are safe." He did, and he even let my two year old sit in his truck, start it up, and honk the horn!! We definitely are your clients, Fernando!!!

In November we called Fernando Lopes for an estimate on some electrical work. He arrived within a couple of hours to assess the job and provided a professional quote the next day. He was able to come less than a week after with his crew to complete the work before our guests arrived for Thanksgiving. He and his crew were friendly, professional and clean. The work took longer than expected but he stuck to the price he quoted us. We were very happy with the work they did and would highly recommend them! We will definitely plan to use Lopes Electric for our future projects.

We have been using Fernando for years. He’s a pleasure to work with. He’s knowledgeable, conscientious, and always concerned about safety first. We have had great success with him on small and large jobs too. I highly recommend him!

Fernando saved us on the hottest day of the year when power to our AC just plain stopped working. He came by after hours, was incredibly warm and friendly, thorough in letting us know what was going on, and really helpful in explaining the root cause of the issue and the fix. Fernando arrived when he said he would. When I described my fuse problem, he recognized what the problem was immediately. He also taught me what usually causes it so I can avoid it in the future.
Then we went to the junction box where he took care of it. And because it was simple, he showed me what to do if it ever have that problem again!
Turns out I know a one of the contractors he works for regularly.
I no longer have to ask around for a good electrician, because I've found one!

Lopes Electric came through for us when it mattered most. He responded on short notice and modified our furnace so it could safely run off a generator using a plug connection. Just a few hours later, we lost power and because of his work, I was able to keep our gas furnace running.

As the parent of a 1- and 3-year-old, keeping the house warm was not optional. His quick response, competence, and foresight made all the difference for my family. Everything worked exactly as it should, and it gave us real peace of mind during an outage.
